July 20: smoke arrived this morning to go with our heat wave. Awesome. Extra watering, misting air, and wetting the sides of the grow bags with hose water to keep things cooler and hydrated. So far so good in the heat. Did foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate. Also note that for all my grows I use apple cider vinegar for pH adjustment and a Dr Bronners liquid soap as a wetting agent (surfactant). Euphoria is doing great, but to ensure that it finishes early enough for this latitude (53N) where the UV light gets very weak after mid-August, I’m starting the force flowering tonight. Already starting to flower but I want a strong flower set and as much flower growth under strong sunlight as possible. Force flowering schedule is 2-3 weeks of in dark garage at 9 pm followed by 730 nm far red light and then back out at 7 am. The light initiates dark mode 2 h faster so it’s like having a 26 h day. Good trick use as a bloom booster, also moves up the finish 2-4 weeks. So, 10+2 is 12 h dark and 14 h daylight. Might sound bogus but it works. July 21: first night of force flowering caused a big stretch. Notably stretched after darkness in hot garage overnight. Hot outside overnight too but was much hotter inside garage and recorded here as 24 C. Seems okay and high overnight temperature might be ideal at this early flowering stage. Warm overnight temperatures continue for a few more days. July 22: record hot overnight low forecast for tonight of 24 C and feels like 27 C with humidity. Wow, that is really incredible for here and 13 C above historic average. July 26: six days into flowering and she is doing fine. 👍👍

*********Week 6 - January 13 to 19, 2020 (Days 36 to 42 from germination) This is going to be a brief update but that’s a good thing 😀 The week went by pretty quick and overall it was great progress. She stood up more and her bud sites set in and are starting to stack.👍 Her colour holding, on the darker side, and her leaves are still narrow. In a way.....don’t care though......not growing leaves😜😃 Have done some further cleaning on the bottom and removed a couple of leaves that were blocking. Took off a couple of low nodes as well. Introduced Massive this week for bud density. She has a thick main stem but not excessive....little less than a quarter. She has lots of bud sites with six main stems that should fill-in nicely. Should help increase yield😎👍 Keeping wet and happy is a balance. She was good with 2L last week and by the end of the week now she wants close to 3L. I also bumped up the CalMag on one of the feedings a bit to help ensure she doesn’t show issues. Don’t want to use CalMag much longer though because she already gets lots of nitrogen. Not sure how much longer to feed......will go another full week for sure. I suspect she will run a full 9 weeks and more likely 10 weeks, then if allowing a 2 week flush you only go through week 7....and maybe 8.....thats next week or week after! Therefore, even if I push it I will likely only go another 2 weeks of feeding😟😓😕 Crap time goes fast!!!!!! Gonna have to ensure she is wet and happy👌 Little more detail: Jan 13/20 - Day 36 - 1L feeding of Sensyzime, Piranha, Voodoo Juice @ 2ml/L. Not pH’d......water been running 6.3. this was in the AM - PM feeding 2L only Dual Fuel @ 1ml/L, Liquid Weight and Rezin @ 1.5ml/L = 575ppm pH 5.8. - trying out the Green Planet line so I introduced Massive this week. - lowered temps in room at night. Down to 65 degrees. - suspect the narrow leaves where grower error and nutrient balance......growing buds anyways......saves from a leaf strip at this point in the grow:) Jan 14/20 - Day 37 - Hit her harder today with full strength feed. 5.95pH - Pots were light so 3L feed. Not completely dry......just enough moisture left....3L had a fair bit of run-off.....eating a little less than the other big girl. - Rhino Skin back in for some more silica. - Didn’t go......holly crap she got big last night😮😮.....but she continues to get taller.....the bud sites white hairs really pop now. Jan 15/20 - Day 38 - 2L feed today. Only giving base nutrients and Sensyzime @ 1ml/L pH 6.1. - runoff water: 900ppm and 6.0pH. - drinking more now and she doesn’t give run-off before 2L minimum. - keep an eye on the ppm not getting too high and consider increasing her moisture. Jan 16/20 - Day 39 - 3L full feed today. - want to strip a bunch of her leaves!!!! Keep tucking the leaves but even those stems are stubborn.....good problems👍😝 Jan 17/20 - Day 40 - She is hungry :) - 3L feed full strength. - runoff water: 1400ppm, 5.9pH........medium in okay shape.....little high ppm given what’s been going in. - Good growth last night....liked the nutes👊 Don’t get to eager through😳 too much at this point and she won’t consume them all😉 - In the tent with only Zkittelz is giving a little extra room and she is loving it. Jan 18/20 - Day 41 - She was not dry in the AM but rather inbetween. - watering with supplementals.......Sensyzime, Rezin, Liquid Weight, VeloKelp, Piranha, Voodoo....and CalMag. - 2L with 240ppm and 6.2pH - nothing in PM.....pots still wet......she is looking for a little less than 3L per day still roughly. - They are growing taller......top of tallest nodes falling to sleep sooner at night. - replaced CO2 in tent. - Very happy today and good growth with leave up. - 24” tall and 28” wide......with LST. Jan 19/20 - Day 42 - 3L feeding again today. Full strength again. - runoff: 1350ppm and 6.0pH.......still a little more left in there than going in. - stripped two lower nodes and 1 huge fan leaf. - her buds are getting wider and taller....filling in😎 lots of them......or at least they jump out more with how she is growing👊 - she is happy....keep the same and don’t change things......less than two weeks feed left. She just had her first 4th week nutrients this morning and she's loving it. I really had my doubts about this plant making it in those early days but here she is standing taller than the rest (being a sativa hybrid helps). Day 31 - I screwed up big time last night and accidentally clipped a stem, so stupid. I decided to try my hand at cloning, lol, maybe I'll get lucky and get a baby bud.

Ok, so this week I have put a microscope to the girls and the tops are showing a hell of a lot of amber so I have taken the tops off of them all to dry. Underneath is still more undeveloped so will leave the rest a while longer. No nutes the past week and not gonna add any more.

Lollipopped in the middle of the third week. Added 500ml water plus 10ml Bio PK 5/8 and 2.5ml/l Orgatrex ONCE per plant. Watering every two days around 2l water. Sometimes more, sometimes less and sometimes also the next day again a bit- just how it seems to me. Two small fans blow air backwards below the leaf line and slightly upwards. Above the lamp, also at the front, there is a swivel fan in the corner which blows air downwards. The Fat Freddy's Cat are all between 88-97cm tall. The Mimosa X Orange Punch are between 83-90cm high The London Pound Cake X Zoap is 33cm tall (but also 1.5 weeks younger and shorter in flower) It has become much colder outside, at night a small additional heater has to run in the room (outside the tent). One plant at the back got a too big stretch. I hope it's over, because the Tent is only 2m high and It don't have any more space to lift the LED. Also I wanted to set the light at 100%, from the 4.flowering week but the plant already shows light stress, I will consider, what I will do against it.

We pulled her down with approx 90% cloudy trics..not a massive harvest and she could have gone an extra week but we're still playing catch up from our hermi ,we also desperately needed the space..I REALLY like this strain, it's easily becoming a favorite...it didn't last very long the firs time lol...the wife gives it a 7 and I'd say it's a firm 8.5 :)

16.2.25: I decided to check out the lower canopies of all plants to see if I need to get rid of any foliage. I did get rid of a few small branches and leaves. However, whilst I was doing this, I saw more garden pegs from my LST remaining. There were about 6 or more in Pink Mist alone. Additionally, on Watermelon, there were some left in, too. I'm so annoyed to see that because the plants are really stretching, and I could've potentially disrupted this by leaving the pegs in for all this time without realising it. 🤞 that I haven't compromised things too much. We'll see. I watered today with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 containing the following nutrients; ♡ .8g Green Leaf Nutrients PK booster ♡ .5g Ecothrive Biosys I ordered quite a few things for the garden. I got Greenleaf Nutrients Sea K(elp) and Mega Crop Parts A+B. To go with their PK Booster I got last month. I'm excited to try it all together. Next run, maybe just using these. We'll see how it goes. 18.2.25: The plants are going crazy for water! Everything is getting used right up so fast! Today, I decided to add some more Black Strap Molasses to add some carbs and other micronutrients. I'll add the jar with the label in the photos section above. I watered a very small amount to each plant. What I put in: ♡ Black strap molasses 150g ♡ 2g Sea K(elp) Greenleaf nutrients. The plants drank this up within a few hours. I'm going to try and hold off on watering in hopes that my Ecothrive Life Cycle will arrive so I can top dress and water it in then. 20.2.25: My Ecothrive Life Cycle arrived yesterday, and the plants are ready for their top dress and a good watering in. I have some Biobizz Light Mix, Canna Coco,and perlite. I'm going to use this as a base to mix my amendments in. I'm going to fill my 5 gallon bucket with about 4.5 gallons of my top dress mix. I will distribute this across 6, 4-5 gallon pots. Then I will water in well with Greenleaf nutrients Mega Crop Parts A+B and Sea K(elp). I've made a crude attempt to video mixing my top dress. 10/15 This week saw a few snags. Both gorilla zkittlez girls are showing what looks like a Mg def i.e yellowing between veins and green veins themselves. This isn't the first time they've exhibited these symptoms. Currently the heaviest affected leaves are the lowest fan leaves farthest from the light. Aiming to keep it that way. I think it's pH swinging too low. I need to pay more attention to my feeds but sometimes I don't have the time to pH my water as properly as I should. The reason I say it's that and not a deficiency is because they are also showing signs of over feed (yellow leaf tips) only a one half-strength feed did this. There must be plenty of food left in the pot. I'm thinking the flip is gonna come at the end of the week. I'll clean up some lower foliage tomorrow or Sunday and let them grow the rest of the week. 10 weeks seems like a nice round number to me. I'm not using nutrients any more , just fresh water .gorilla cookies very bushy , purple punch almost done I'll let another week . That sample that I cutes from it shine from trichomes . Smell good.

Start of week 5 - plants almost died from extreme heat, unfortunately I was away for a couple days and came home to this. Plant 3 has not recovered after feeding and I may have to harvest her... really not worth it though, buds are not any size yet. I have a new 185cfm exhaust fan coming, which will replace my current 100cfm exhaust fan. Hopefully this will get my temps back into the safe zone so I can salvage one of the plants.
