Most of the week was spent setting up the hydro grow. Needed to build a DIY chiller since air temp in our grow room is hot, and water needs to be a good deal colder. Fridge from kijiji, garden hose, fittings, and submersible pump all in were under $100 but knowing what I know now I'd likely go with a thermoelectric chiller (DIY, with power supply and temp controller) next time around. Looking forward to tracking metrics and seeing how it goes :). Seems there's a lot of contradiction in terms of level of nutrients recommended, max water temperature, using H2O2 to boost water temp that can keep algae and rot at bay, etc. Got my hands on some Hydroguard via Amazon... despite local shops saying you can't get it in Canada... so I'm going to go with that instead of H2O2 to start, despite water temp getting up above 21 C (70 f) during the day. Fingers crossed. Update - keeping water reservoir tank under 20 C now by using reflective bubble wrap insulation on the reservoir itself and pipe insulation as well. It's a 10 C difference from the room temp, so I'm SUPER pleased with that.

Wonderful aroma in the tent. I do a little stress due to low temperatures at night. I took a small sample :D, everything is as it should.The trichomes are just milky, what will be scary at the finish line...

Der Wuchs der Pflanze ist sehr kräftig und nun war es an der Zeit, einige der unteren Triebe noch zu entfernen. So dass die oberen Triebe sich jetzt besser entwickeln können. Außerdem habe ich nun einige Sonnensegel zurückgeschnitten, damit die Pflanze ihre kompaktere Wuchsform beibehält. Auch war es an der Zeit den Green House Feeding Bioenhancer wieder zuzugeben. Another wonderful week. Recovery from the topping has been superb. She has grown quite a lot. As of 5/2/21 she will be leaving the veg tent and moving to the bloom tent where she will spend the next 8.5 weeks with another plant, Cotton Candy. The tent received an upgrade to a third TS1000 for the 2 plants. Hope is enough for now.

The girls are doin pretty good this week. Finished off L.S.T. earlier in the week. Applied first re-amendment of nutes, not including the compost tea from last week. Turned the light almost all the way up. Hoping to flatten out the canopy with a trellis net. There doesn't seem to be deficiencies on the new growth, and they're going full steam ahead so I'm happy about that.

D71/F24 - 11.29 - There's not much to say about these two. They didn't even hiccup after the defoliation, though it does appear their stretch has just about finished. They both have fat greasy prebuds right now, and the Passion Berry has particularly long pistils.
