Finished week 2 of flower. I have been inspecting every single leaf for PM and have found a few spots, but quickly spot treated with solution. I have learned that PM is a SYSTEMIC disease and the spots on leaves are a symptom of an already infected plant. So the best thing I can do is keep the symptoms in check by spot spraying and its working! Only a few burned leaves as a result, but nothing like my first grow where it was widespread! Defoliated to thin out a bit and allow for better airflow. Light LST to a few of the taller stems to maintain an even canopy. Overall, I am happy with the way my 2nd indoor grow is progressing.

This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Zamnesia Mango Kush continues to smell and is very sticky. It is tall and with packed buds It should be ready to take down in a couple of weeks. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. Now we are in week 8. Plants stopped growing. I will let them grow two more weeks and then I will at least harvest two of them. Depending on the trichomes I will keep the other two for 4-5 weeks more, because I will be away ... traveling lets hope that the sun is coming out again and that the buds get bigger and bigger in the last two weeks. BTW I stopped giving any type of nutrients, just water.

She was the Star of the Grow and My Best Yield yet. She was Easy to Grow but I'd suggest taking Care to not overdo the Nutrients. Ran into some early Signs of Burn but She was Fine once I went back to 1/2 Dosage. I Cut the 4 Main Colas to Hang n Clipped the rest at the Buds to Lay Out n Dry. I Barely have Room in My Drying Box. If I've found My Grower's Stride like I Hope I have I'll need to Construct a New Larger Box. By my Calculations She should Dry Out to about 60 Grams. @FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time.
