So my final grow is done on Grow Diaries. Sending it off with a banger of a grow. Insane amounts of frost and the smell is badass. Over the last week I’ve continued with defoliation process and I removed downer leaves that were not developing properly. On day 78 I added support for aide branches on B and C. I started flush of plant C on day 80, so we’ll see how she looks. I keep feeding other plants but I will be starting flush soon. 😎

Day 80 This morning I started defoliating Tropicana. She will be in the darkness for the next days. I already harvested a part of the head flower and let it dry trimmed. Because of extreme weather conditions and very high humidity I got a little bud rott. I found it out quit early I think. So I hope nothing will not happen any more. Just harvesting relaxed and drink a Tropicana tee. Day 81 I decided to cut her down in the evening. The humidity in the basement room is high and I don‘t want to risk here anything anymore. Waiting for my first homegrown weed to be vaped. Day 82 Tropicanas flowers hanging to dry in my basement. I check them once per day with a strong light. Day 83 Same same. The smell is wonderful like a bit of gas combined with a fruity flower bouquet. Our neighbors in the house like the smell, too. 🙏 Day 84 I could try my first homegrown weed. It‘s absolutely tasty and have a very smooth vape. I was very surprised cause it‘s not cured yet. A longer vape report will follow when it‘s dried and cured. Day 88 All flowers, sugar- and tee leafs are trimmed and filled in glasses for curing. I open twice per day for 20 minutes. Boveda packs 58% inside. I will fill out the rest of the diarie when my buds are dried, cured and vaped. So far this was a very exciting journey for me. Growing cannabis and even legal on our balcony. Feels still a bit unreal, but it’s real! Thank you for reading my diary! Thanks to all the people who worked on legalizing cannabis in Germany, especially to the „Deutscher Hanfverband (DHV)“! I will give more updates and write a vape report after curing several weeks. Maybe with some Tropicana Cookies baked in Comfreys garden kitchen.

Without a doubt the best bud I‘ve ever grown! I have nothing but positive things to say about the genetics of this plant. This was my first mephisto grow so very impressed. Buds are sticky and dense after weeks of 90-100 degree weather. No signs of stress or slowing. The plants tackled every hint of def or toxicity with ease. Got a little less yield than I expected, but not complaining as quality is incredible!! Buds dryed for 6 days and cured for 7 as of review. Very dense and sticky. Yielded 5oz dry A-bud, 2oz dry fluff, and 15oz of wet trim. Pressed the fluff with a 11% yield. Rosin is budder-like and smooth. EDIT: Later edited on aug 17 to provide cure update. —-smoke report—- The finished cured bud reeks intensely of diesel, raspberry, and hash! The smoke itself is light on the lungs and heavy in texture. Smoke hints at flavors of raspberry and caramel with sweet notes. High produces strong headband and couchlock effect. Potency is high without a doubt. Smoking a few under 30 day cured bowls produces a high for a solid 3-6 hours even at a high tolerance level. As of mid-august, the cure is complete and stone has intensified. Feels waaay more indica this time. Fully cured bud can knock a seasoned stoner the fuck out. Blew my expectations out of the water This was my first mephisto grow and it made me a diehard fan. Can‘t wait to grow more later in the year!

Double Grape attempt #2 mephisto genetics double grape 7th January 2021 I have two very distinctly different phenotypes of Double grape 😎 the taller one is really sativa like with it's thin leaves and stretched appearence , whilst it's sister plant is squat in stature and has thos classic wide leaves from it's Indica parentage. However so far they both Smell very similiar so I dunno what to make of that but it can't be a bad thing as the smell is very Nice 👌 Not much else to report so will leave it at that. She might not be the biggest but she's also a small pot with limited amount of organic nutrients but as they say you live and you learn.. I'm not saying organics aren't good I'm saying if you're going to do organics do it the right way or don't do it at all.. Sep 6: the top buds are mostly ready. Final Flush was applied two days ago and are supposed to wait 7-10 days. Will wait a bit longer but harvest will be starting soon. Sep 7: harvested 740 g wet buds into freezer. When dried this will be about 180 g. Lower buds will be another week or two. Sep 12: most likely will be harvested tomorrow. These are really nice hard buds. Don’t take flash pics of your plants unless you follow up with a far red light. Otherwise…hermies are more likely.
