Sep 9th flipped to flower

Plants are 5 weeks old and I decided to switch to flowering for week 6. Plants are all in good shape and the screen is in place to train them to fill the tent. I will be changing out the veg bulb this week and installing the 1000w HPS bulb for flowering. I’m still playing with the light rail speeds and pause times but I seem to have it dialled in now I think. I will also be doing another water change and adding flower nutrients sometime this week. ****Added 7 gal of fresh water to the reservoir on day 38. Added full strength Remo lineup for flowering to the 7 gal added to reservoir. I started to tie down/tuck the larger branches to the net as well.

Great overall harvest from such a small light

We're at 29 days in flower from the flip. The two Sweet Cherry Kush plants are packing on weight, at a very promising rate! Around 4-5 weeks anticipated to remain. Nothing much to say, just happy ladies! They get watered every other day with 72 hours being the longest stretch in-between. The temperaturs are pretty consistent, The VPD has still been fighting me, I'll probably end up with a dehumidifier for the summer month. overall girls are doing good it seems like the small one has stopped gaining mass and converted all energy to the trichomes the bigger one is gaining bigger and bigger.. so great times!

During this week, in addition to gnats and hydrophobic soil, I faced high humidity at night and poor ventilation inside the grow tent. I felt this delayed the development of the sprouts. I used only pure water for watering, and even then, I did it in small volumes (50 to 100ml) several times to combat poor nutrient absorption on top of the pot due to the hydrophobic soil. I also applied Bacillus to control the gnats in the larval stage. I noticed that my traps had fewer each day, but it's difficult to completely eliminate these little demons.

the last week was really sunny again, which of course pleased the beautiful plant very much. in the last week she only got fertiliser once. biobizz top-max, bloom and grow. 24 hours before the harvest, she was given an ice-cold rinse and a few ice cubes. (does that really help?) the buds have grown very compact and firm. the odour is intense. wet weight at the end was 159 grams. but measured generously. all in all i am very satisfied with the grow. at the beginning she had to fight with the german weather, but she has survived all strains and stress.
