June 15: lots of rain ended this morning. 64 mm or 2.5 inches over 48 hours. No watering need for a while. She looks pretty good and I’m currently waiting for the two stems to grow a bit more. A day or two before another round of topping to make the 8 (or 16?) cola manifold. June 18: still more rain. Wow, really pouring at the moment. About 80 mm in last few days and heavy rain forecast for all day today. Oh well. Plants are up against house to minimize soaking. Took two fan leaves that were growing back across the main stem to allow more light in. So far so good. June 20: second round of topping to get to 8 colas and tied down to have all growth tips at same elevation. Waited until fourth node was forming and then topped to third node and removed growth tips at the second node. Sounds a bit hard but totally easy once you try. 👍called mainlining on Growdiaries but should be called manifolding. Still quite cool and rainy which is great for the forest fires, but a bit cool for cannabis. Oh well. June 21: Happy Solstice. Our monsoon season seems to be done and next two weeks look like great cannabis weather - sunny with low to mid 20s C.

SO..........................the girls are doing okay. I can only expect so much, given they're in 5 gals (except for LB), and half of them didn't get a good start. It's a nice experiment, for comparison sake. I don't think there's any bad plants here (of course, I don't think there are any bad plants ANYWHERE, EVER), just some early bloomers and some that still need some time. I've been feeding them with Tiger Bloom and a seaweed/kelp additive, and they've had two doses now of guano for top-dressing. Now I'm running out of room, should've planned better and left more room at the top of the bags. Never again with the 5 gals, they're great for indoor but way too restrictive for outdoor even way up here in Maine. I just finished LST again and they're looking pretty funky, but it's getting the desired result. GLad I kept some of them straight and didn't top, I want to see the difference in the end between nature's architecture and my twisted mess. SO far, so good, but I'm a little worried about the Ph. Again, my solution is good (around 6- 6.3), but my medium still comes in at 7 even. Great buffering shit, but I really need to acidify the soil a bit more. I've got some PhDown, but I'm worried that if I drop the solution too low I'll burn the plants. On the other hand, it doesn't seem to have much of an effect so far at 6.... 7/31 Update: Gave the ladies another round of bat guano, 2 lbs. spread hroughout a dozen plants. Kinda worried that I used too much, but the first applications weren't enough so we'll see. Yesterday gave 'em a feeding of Tiger Bloom, today I watered the guano in with well water that I adjusted (using PhDown) to a reasonable 6.5. A good dry day, bright too, they should soak it up good today!

Week 2 is cruising along, and the lady is looking strong and healthy 💪🏼. Feeding her the full Canna suite with the pH locked at 5.8 and watering every 3-4 days. Everything's on track with no major updates—next week, I'll kick off LST!

Week 9 coming along and she is very thirsty always want more nutrients this week I feed 3ml alg amic 5ml acti vera 5ml heaven 5ml bloom 5ml top max 1ml atami bloombastic And feed her 2L every morning 🌄 I think 2 weeks left to harvest coz she start flowering day 21 will see

I typically use the nutes at 1/2 tsp per gal but I have cut back on nitrogen since transitioning to flowering😎

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. It was a good week for the ladies, all the toppings are complete, and now I am just focusing on some LST to try and keep all 8 tops level on all the ladies. Today is day 42 and I just removed the milk crates that all of the ladies were sitting on to give them more vertical space. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. 18 plants, 5 strains. Each plant has 3 main buds. By means of LST I tried to make them all the same height. Because the plants have now stopped growing, leading is no longer necessary. The plants are still attached to the plant sticks with tie strips to support the buds when they get heavy later on. Lots and large leaves, and therefore a weekly large defoliation every week. The trichomes begin to appear. I have 3 phenotypes out of 5 Mango Crunches. 2 plants have pronounced sativa genetics. 2 plants are rather hybrid. 1 plant is mostly indica. All buds have a pleasant fruity smell. MC # 1 - 76cm - small plant, mostly indica, dense buds with many trichomes MC # 2 - 115cm - just the opposite of # 1 sativa type, very large plant with few leaves and very thin buds, curious how this plant will develop further MC # 3 - 106cm - just like # 2 sativa phenotype MC # 6 - 90cm - beautiful plant, few leaves with many beautiful thick white flowers.
