Steady growth looks healthy

Been awhile since I've updated. But she's doing good and flowering now

02/01/18 - Week 7 / Day 38 Added PK 13/14 last week as per the CANNA COCO schedule I've been following for this grow - the buds look a little more plump and I cant wait to see what the next few weeks have in store. The smell is amazing - sweet and citrusy, with a candy aroma. There is great variation in the smell of the resins from the 4 GZ plants - one of them smells like a sweet tangerine while others smell less citrusy and more sharp/pine smelling. There doesn't seem to be much of a variation in phenotype, one has a great inter-nodal distance and the other three look about the same in terms of stature. Two look identical in the shapes of their bud, one has very GG4 looking buds and the last one has the least developed buds. I think this is because it has the most lateral growth and multiple bud sites which cant get the light from the canopy - I got a little greedy and didn't want to trim these away when defoliating early flower but I looking back I regret not doing that as the other three (which didn't have nearly as many smaller side branches) are doing excellently. Alternatively, this plant could just be a couple days behind lol. More updates on 8th. Happy New Year!

It's been an exciting journey training my plants, and I'm happy with the progress they've made. I've been implementing various training techniques to encourage healthy growth and maximize yields. The plants have responded positively to the training, and I'm hopeful that they will continue to thrive and develop as planned. Fingers crossed for a successful outcome!

This is my second run of Dutch Passion with my first being a monster Blueberry Auto. Massive plant, and her pungent odor overtook my entire home while trimming her today. While trimming her it smelled like I was in an earthy Pine Forest with a hint of berries, and it was one of the strongest smelling plants I've ever run. Very easy to grow, responded to all training methods with VIGOROUS growth. I topped her above the 7th node and removed the bottom one so I had 12 mains total. It took me almost 8 hours and I even had help for 4 hours.. Trimming is definitely my least favorite part of cultivating this species. I am super impressed with this strain and really everything Dutch Passion. They have not even sent me a single seed or even acknowledged me on here but this is my second run of their autos and I anticipate each will be a massive yielder. I will probably take a month off then start a run of a few photoperiod mainlines. I cleaned out the reservoir and switched from Veg to Bloom nutrients on day 36. My 35% Hydrogen Peroxide arrived, and that definitely makes a difference with keeping the reservoir cleaner longer, although I am still cleaning it maybe every 10 days or so, just a quick 2 min scrub with bleach/water, and then i run it through the pump and lines as well, then run plain water through it before hooking it all back up. The ONLY water I have used from my well this grow has been to clean my reservoir, everything else has come from my dehumidifer. I am now using some Cal Mag, Maxi Bloom, AND some Liquid Kool Bloom. I am running an EC of about 1450. My runoff from Coco is coming in around 1490 EC. Not seeing any issues with the ladies, just worried I may have waited a little too long to switch from Veg to Bloom Nutes, although I was adding about 25% Bloom for the past week or so. Woche 6 - Übergang zur Blütephase und erste Herausforderungen Die sechste Woche markierte den Übergang von der Vegetations- in die Blütephase. Bis zum Wochenende wurde weiterhin der Terra Vega Dünger verwendet, mit einem Verhältnis von 30 ml pro 10 Liter Wasser. Am Samstag, dem ersten Tag der Blütephase, wurde jedoch deutlich, dass ein Wechsel auf den Blütedünger nötig war. Leider führte die verspätete Umstellung auf die Canna Terra Bloom Linie zu einem leichten Nährstoffmangel, der sich in den ersten Tagen der Blüte zeigte. Anfang der ersten vollen Blütewoche wurde dies korrigiert, indem vollständig auf Canna Bloom umgestellt wurde. Die pH- und EC-Werte blieben stabil und optimal eingestellt. Die Temperaturen stiegen minimal an, blieben jedoch bei angenehmen 26 Grad. Mit Beginn der Blütephase startete der sogenannte Stretch, und die Pflanzen legten beeindruckende 2,5 cm pro Tag zu. Während dieser Woche wurden die ersten unteren Blätter entfernt – ein leichtes Lollipopping, um die Energie auf die oberen Bereiche zu konzentrieren. Die entfernten Blätter wurden getrocknet und sogar laminiert, um den Fortschritt dieses besonderen Grows festzuhalten. Es wurden ebenfalls einige kleinere Zweige und Blätter im unteren Bereich entfernt, um die Belüftung zu verbessern. Das eigentliche, umfassendere Lollipopping wird jedoch erst in zwei bis drei Wochen erfolgen. Trotz des anfänglichen Mangels aufgrund der zu späten Umstellung des Düngers blieben die Pflanzen insgesamt kräftig, gesund und wuchsen konstant weiter. Der Übergang in die Blütephase verlief somit erfolgreich, und die Pflanzen zeigten weiterhin ihr beeindruckendes Potenzial. ENGLISH Week 6 - Transition to Flowering and Initial Challenges The sixth week marked the transition from the vegetative to the flowering phase. Until the weekend, the Terra Vega fertilizer was still used at a ratio of 30 ml per 10 liters of water. On Saturday, the first day of flowering, it became clear that switching to the flowering fertilizer was necessary. Unfortunately, the late transition to the Canna Terra Bloom line caused a slight nutrient deficiency that appeared in the first few days of flowering. This was corrected at the beginning of the first full flowering week by fully switching to Canna Bloom. The pH and EC levels remained stable and optimally adjusted. Temperatures increased slightly but stayed at a comfortable 26 degrees. With the start of the flowering phase, the stretch began, with the plants growing an impressive 2.5 cm per day. During this week, the first lower leaves were removed—a light lollipopping to focus the energy on the upper parts. The removed leaves were dried and even laminated to document the progress of this unique grow. Some smaller branches and leaves were also removed from the lower areas to improve ventilation. However, the main lollipopping will take place in about two to three weeks. Despite the initial deficiency due to the late fertilizer switch, the plants remained overall strong, healthy, and continued to grow beautifully. The transition to the flowering phase was successful, and the plants continued to showcase their impressive potential.

Day 7 today from sprout. They are doing great, but i have sometimes 29c in the tent and my humidy sometimes fall to right under 40% which i dont like, but the girls seems to like it. Also i lowered both lights 10 cm down.. The Led is about 70cm above, and the HPS 70cm. I may begin feeding them very soon with BioGrow and BioHeaven but only 1/4 of recommended dossage. In the night i now have around 60% humidity, and it also helped me get my core tempature down from 28-29c to around 26-27c because my lights wasnt on 24h anymore

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Lets go big girl is 70 days into flower still pushing 🥇🏆💪

After germinating on a wet paper towel inside a hanging plastic baggie for 48 hours, all 6 seeds have opened up. The 3 ZHEETOS (=ZKITTLES X CHEESE) and the 3 BADAZZ-CHEESE (=BADAZZ-KUSH X CHEESE) seeds, which I received directly from Milo from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS have a 100% germination result, I love it. The seeds are then carefully (with gloves on and a tweezer) transplanted into small pots (0,25 liter) filled with PLAGRON Grow-Mix. You can see how its done in the video and pics above. I fill the pot with soil and water it a little bit. Then I make a small hole with a finger in the center of the soil. I take the seed off the wet paper towel with a tweezer and put it onto the side-wall of the small hole. I position it right at the edge with the white tap-root pointing down and the seed-shell laying on the edge of the hole. Then i push the soil from the other side-wall towards the seed, so it is enclosed with soil from all sides and the top of the seed shell still peaks out of the soil. This way the seedling does not have to fight its way to the surface, but can grow out right away. Within 24 hours I can see the small seedlings rise and push out of the soil. Some with the seed-shells still on them other without the seed-shell, depending if they were able to shed them in the soil already. The first ones to rise are ZHEETOS #1 and #2 together with BADAZZ-CHEESE #1 and #2, both #3-plants are one day later out of the soil. During week 1 I only gave them little water (0,1 liter per plant every 2nd day) and on day 7 I add BIONOVA ROOTS to the water (0,5 ml/l) to enhance the growth of the roots of the seedlings. After a few days all 6 seedlings have surfaced and then shed their seed shells and unfolded their Cotyledons (=first round leaf). They grow quick and healthy in the first week inside my GrowforLife-Coset and start to develop the first sets of real leaves. This closet is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL and MOST SILENT stealth-grow-cabinet EVER! (check them out: www.growforlife.com ) I loved my first round in it and cant wait for this one. The plants LOVE the spectrum and light-intensity of the two 50 watts SANlight-LED modules built into the closet. The 100 watts of light are plenty for the small grow-surface (45x45cm) of the closet. This round I will try the whole line of BIONOVA nutrients from the Netherlands, since I have only heard good things about them.

Hello, this week and the next ones will be peaceful. It's +-34 days of the girls' life. About 30 more days and we'll switch to flowering. The smell is delicious. I hope that the girls will also give me lush buds. Due to the use of new plant cultivation techniques, I have small concerns about growth, but I hope that my technique will work and I will base on it. (34 days of feminized seeds and the stem at the base has a circumference of 4.5 cm 😁. I should also start fertilization now, but it's already over.
