Plants leaves are out of control. Had to do an early pruning to open up plant a bit. Probably could’ve done more but dont wanna stress them out too much. Raised light a bit to encourage a bit of stretching. Irrigation working great but overwatered plants again testing it. Did some lst to open up plants and get branches above those giant leaves.

The grow was smooth, employed some new techniques when growing and they performed well! Nice bush plants

Thorium (chemical symbol Th) is a naturally occurring radioactive metal found at trace levels in soil, rocks, water, plants and animals. Thorium is solid under normal conditions. Hello Diary, The third week of vegetation has ended, which is also the beginning of flowering. As you can see in the photos, Milky Way has started to form flowers which is normal for automatics after 3 weeks of vegetation. Milky Way is developing nicely, it grew about 10 cm in a week and got a lot of new leaves. The bright spots that were on some of the leaves have disappeared, which is good news. I started to feel a slight smell, which also makes me happy :). This week I also did minimal defoliation, I removed only the lowest leaves to make it easier to water and improve the air flow through the plant itself. When it comes to watering, it is not frequent, about every 4 days. This week I added one tablet of Easy Grow Booster. The conditions on the farm are excellent I would say, the temperature is around 26 degrees while the humidity is around 50%. Here's how it looked this week. 16/05/2023 - Day 17. Watering. I prepared 7 liters of water, lowered the pH. to 6.0 and dissolved one Easy Grow tablet and with that amount of water I watered all three plants equally. 19/05/2023 - Day 20. First, I did a minimal defoliation, removing only the bottom leaves to make watering easier and improve air flow through the plant a bit. After that I watered all three plants. 20/05/2023 - Day 21. Dropped RQS Diesel Automatic this week, she has not sprouted out of the soil yet, but its only been 4 days. I expect her to pop in the next 24-48 hours. I'll add new pics once she sprouts. Planning a slightly different strategy with this girl. no HST, only LST, and FIM'ing instead of topping. Looking forward to watching what happens. She is front-center in the group pics. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. By the way, I never had any germination problems with seeds from other breeders. (I don’t want to bad mouth any breeders, but the seeds that didn’t germinate came from a popular breeder/advertiser that is most commonly known by 4 letters). Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge and Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I also rotate each plant 90 degrees every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans here are to do LST bending only, no HST this time. Around 3 week I'll do a FIM cut/pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. I will also be doing some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope LST only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Estas plantas se desarrollaron de esquejes. Hay dos plantas en cada balde de 10L. L a técnica que utilizo es ninguna técnica, solo espero a que se desarrollen y maduren. Lo único que hago es controlar el ph y cambiar la solución nutritiva cada semana. Todos los días verifico que el ph esté cerca de 6. A veces puede ser 5.8 o 6.5 de ph y eso no es un problema. Lo único que se me está complicando es la extracción del aire. No tengo dudas que en algún momento lo soluciones adquiriendo nuevos productos. El sistema que utilizo es la hidroponía. Se me hace más cómodo el sistema. No me gusta mover o utilizar tierra ya que es muy sucio y se mueve mucho volumen.

All caught up now! Attached is some shots with less effort put into them, then a couple shots of her main kola sparkling with trichome frost. Oh baby, she stacked muuuch harder than I remember earlier on this week. Just absolutely packing on the resin all throughout her nodes. Not just the main kola, but the lower ones too. Very pleased! Quite happy with the flash-adjusted shots of the main kola too, you can see she's just icing herself out like it's a full-time job, which I suppose it is for her at this stage of flower. Still has a relative smell of skunk, but has developed a really lovely and strong citrus note/lemon peel that overrides that skunk hit. Gas notes on the end sort of highlight the sting of the lemon terps. Gorgeous phenotype/s for sure.

I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. Today marks the second week of flowering, and I’m really excited about how well my cannabis plant is doing! Over the past few days, it’s really stretched out and has grown quite a bit taller. The leaves are looking lush and vibrant, with a deep green color that shows how healthy the plant is. I was a bit worried last week because the leaves were slightly droopy, but after adjusting the water and getting the levels just right, it’s looking much better now. It feels like the plant has responded really well to the care I’ve been giving it. I’m looking forward to seeing how it continues to develop in the next weeks. The buds are starting to form, and I can’t wait to see them fill out. This is such an exciting process, and I’m really hopeful that everything will keep going smoothly from here on. Fingers crossed for a successful grow!💚🌱

Blütewoche 6 - 18.09. – 25.09.2026 Die Luftfeuchtigkeit hat sich diese Woche etwas beruhigt und liegt jetzt zwischen 55–69 %. Nachts könnte sie zwar noch etwas niedriger sein, aber insgesamt schon deutlich besser. Ansonsten entwickelt sich die Utopia richtig schön. Die Buds werden sichtbar größer, härter und bekommen ordentlich Volumen. Dazu kommt mittlerweile richtig viel Harz und ein sehr intensiver Geruch.
