Our Black Runtz by Zamnesia has reached 16 buds. I'm growing them a little more to make sure they don't go into flowering with small brunches but we're almost there, a few days and they'll go into flowering. She's a plant with a low internodal distance, they're not the most suitable for topping due to the slow response of the mini brunches but you just need to let them grow a little and not go into flowering straight away to get an excellent result anyway. As a general rule but very general plants with a low internodal distance are less suitable for the application of the techniques unlike plants with a wide internodal distance which are very easy to handle, they grow more slowly and can reach excellent dimensions even if worked with techniques that keep them low. The Topping worked very very well the plant at the moment of topping went slightly into overfertilization due to the evident slowdown in growth, so I slowed down the fertilizer for growth but without making her go into crisis we are starting to give fertilizer again. When topping is a delicate moment it is probably better to do what I explain below with this plant I managed to keep myself more balanced the others for a week were in quite evident over. The ideal when topping repeatedly is probably to start with a soil fertilized with gradual release or in fact start preparing the soil for a period that is at least enough for the vegetative phase at most by adding a bit of alga grow which alone I must admit gives me some problems at least in this case if the plant grows straight much less indeed nothing. The strain handled all my mistakes as a new grower great and is one of the reasons why I chose these strains. Just to name, bad Ph, over watering, over feeding was giving full dose instead of half, not watering to run off, not checking ppms and flushing right before harvest instead of weeks prior. I was not expecting the trichomes to look like diamonds as the video doesn’t do any justice. They really sparkle.

I don't have much to show or say for this week.. It was incredible to notice the radical differences in the plants appearance in just sever days but it was also quite nerve wracking!!! Once I got the plant transferred I decided to go ahead and feed her with Green Planet's Medi-One (an organic bottled nutrient that I still had lying around). The original plan was to attempt a dry amendment grow but as the dry amendments where no where to be found after placing my order, I opted to use what I had handy. I went ahead with a water soluble nutrient that would immediately activate the roots and supply nutrients to the sterile medium and I am happy that I did. The very next day after the 1st feeding the plant already started to look different and just "perkier"

Flowering has been an uphill battle against high humidity. Close to the end though. I can't wait I've been watching so many videos and been reading on forums from this point, harvesting, drying and curing. Still looks like itll be a while before smoking. But anyway this has been a great new experience.

Two more weeks until flower, which girl is ready to pop this is my longest vegetative stage yet. I’m thinking she probably needs a bigger pot also. I just might give her a 25 gallon pot.

Day 53 11/20/20 well well she is looking great, she is getting big and fat just the way I like them all the info is in my vid. happy growing and keep your stick on the ice Day 54 11/21/20 after research I have come the realize it's a cal/mag deficiency not nitrogen so seeing as cal/mag was removed and it got worse im putting it back with more cal/mag 10ml per gal I also increased the micro grow and bloom to full strength. I see her every day i can correct it if I need to flush her

Aug 22: Getting really close to harvest now. No amber trichomes yet though. Once I see the first amber trichomes appear, I'll give them a week or two.

The the buds were small so it made trimming a nightmare! But it’s done and the end product is worth all the time. I have loads of trim and small popcorn buds that will be dry Ice sifted and pressed into a hash brick. Will update the diary when I have some bcp hash Weighed up the trim at 588 grams, used my trim bins with dry ice to sift the trim and pressed it into blocks using a rosin pre press, I’ll now jar this and put it to one side. My first time doing this, definitely worth the effort!

Transplant to full soil. No pot involved anymore. Their in contact with mother earth. 🍀🍀🍀 These 2 girls have a bit more stress because of the transit. Still grew like 10 cm. 🍀🍀🍀

Continue to defoliate as needed. Plants FINALLY stoped stretching. Longest colas are 28 inch with avg of 20. Smell is Wow! Need to get in there and thin it out... Again. So far everything I've learned from GrowWeedEasy is spot on. Last grow in this 28x55 with 2 plants was 10oz on the nose. Very excited about these 3 girls. Even the big fan leaves are getting frosty. Love it!

She was eager to grow from the start. I didn’t think she was going to be a tall plant, she had a massive stretch. Next time I would like to grow her out in a larger pot and have her directly under the light by herself to get the most out of this strain. She’s a beauty.
