Placing a dehumidifier or humidifier in the grow box turned out to be ineffective when both devices have their own automated settings. For instance, a humidifier set to 55% humidity works within a ±5% range, meaning it waits until the humidity drops below 50% to turn on and runs until it hits 60%. Since its sensor refreshes every 30 seconds, it might show 54% one moment and jump to 61% the next—not exactly stable at 55%. The dehumidifier behaves similarly. To achieve more consistent results, it’s better to rely on a hygrometer inside the grow box and use “dumb” devices that simply turn on when powered. Connecting these devices to smart outlets provides more precise control. For manual control, I maintained around 55% humidity by turning the humidifier and exhaust fan on and off via phone. Most moisture and aroma are released during the first three days, then taper off. The common rule of “when thin branches snap, it’s dry” led me to overdry my buds. A more reliable method is to monitor the hygrometer. When humidity stabilizes after the initial rise, wait one more day and then jar the buds. Rehydrating Overdried Buds: Overdried buds can be revived with a small piece of mandarin (or orange) peel, about 2.5x2.5 cm. Thoroughly wash the peel (even sanitize it if needed), cut a square, and place it on top of the buds in the jar. In my experience, this brought the humidity from 46% to 62% within 4 hours. Afterward, burp the jars for 15 minutes and monitor the hygrometer. If the humidity drops below 55%, return the peel for a few more hours. Once stable at 60-62%, remove the peel and continue curing, burping the jars twice daily for 15 minutes. As for humidity packs like Integra Boost or Boveda, I used them because I had some lying around. These packs are designed for 12 grams of product, so they don’t make a big difference in larger jars. If you burp jars daily and gently rotate the buds, they’re not really necessary. Trimming and Results: After 7 days of drying, I decided to trim dry this time. It turned out to be somewhat more convenient—everything gets covered in resin anyway, but the remaining leaves easily fall off, speeding up the process. I went for a tight trim, removing as much as possible. During the process, I felt disappointed seeing how little remained on the branches. The buds turned out airy and small, and I started cursing American genetics halfway through the trim. However, when it came to weighing, the results were surprisingly decent. Considering the buds' poor appearance, they’re not going to impress anyone visually, so it might have been easier to shred everything and use it for extraction. I don’t have extraction equipment, so I’ll make cannabutter from the trim, and the buds can rest in jars for now. Takeaways: Use a proper hygrometer for humidity control, not built-in sensors on humidifiers or dehumidifiers. Overdried buds can be easily rehydrated with citrus peel. Daily burping and rotation are sufficient for curing without humidity packs. Dry trimming can be faster and more convenient but may highlight issues with bud density. Despite underwhelming appearance, high resin content makes the strain great for extraction.

We think one of these lady’s are being thrown in to flower by me stressing it. I topped it and I think I shouldnt have , They originally got stunted due to environment technicality difficulties / grower error. Humdifier died , power outages the works , all sorts of obstacles have taken place . But we will see this through to the end for, learning and journal purposes. Happy grows

Die fünfte Blütewoche hat begonnen. Das Höhenwachstum scheint nun endlich vorbei zu sein und die Pflanzen konzentrieren ihre Energie auf die Blüten. Ich hoffe sie kommen mit dem Abstand zur Lampe einigermaßen zurecht und bekommen keinen zu starken Lichtstress.

This ladies look absolutely gorgeous and super strong, they're gonna be flipped into flower tomorrow on February 15th when they'll hit the 30th day since they were planted and the first day of flower! As said, I have flipped this ladies into flower on February 15th so now I think we're gonna see a beautiful stretch specially on this 2 plants which are the biggest one in the tent, very nice genetic, cannot wait to see their performance ❤️💛💚👨‍🌾 stay tuned everybody! Hi Guys, Week 9 of flowering. I've harvested usually in week 8 but I am holding back this time and really let her do her thing until I see more Amber Tris. Right now it's mostly milky and maybe 5% amber only so a few more days to go. ***Mid-week update*** Day 3 of Week 9 of flower - I think they are ready to be cut down very soon. So I went in today and did a quick defoliage. Am waiting for the new moon to come in a day 6 of wk 9 so 3 more days then they are coming down. Am going to flush on the 5th day wk9. Start of week 2 flowering. This girl is hungrier than her round 1 sister. Probably because of the extra veg time, she has developed more root and plant mass that needs more nutrients. The plant itself is growing nicely, stretching and getting busier.

Hey everyone :-). On the 63rd day of flowering after the time change to 12/12 the harvest was carried out after 48 hours of darkness 😍. I love this black pheno 👍. After the harvest, everything was laid out on nets where it is allowed to dry at 62% for the next 8-14 days before fermenting with 62% boveda packs in glasses 😍. They go fatter day by day, still clear trics, and some nuggs are littel under developped further down stem, but massive colas covering the whole surface, smells like fruity candy and sticky as hell, resun production is insane. I just dont eant to get mold drying this, any yips? Whole plant or chop of piezes and hang or dry net, colas are real fat and rock hard.. counted round 35 top colas

WEEK 12 It was very warm this week for my OG Kush. Some leaves have lost a bit of color, but overall the flower production is progressing well. By now, all of the many large shoots are completely covered with big buds. They’re slowly getting larger, but they still have a long way to go before reaching their full potential. This phenotype takes its time during flowering, but it will certainly deliver an enormous yield. I’m really curious to see how that turns out. The plant is receiving and needing quite a lot of nutrients. At the moment, everything seems to be working reasonably well, and I hope the last few weeks continue like this. PPFD: 1000µmol/m²/s Water: 3x water 2x nutrient solution Vpd: 1,8Kpa

Taking nice form with a huge number of flowers filling the net..it’s good to see the scrog method working the way it says it should in all the reading I done on it.havnt really had any problems throughout the entire grow yet.huge fan of the XL auto pot system.fist time grower and first time user and things couldn’t of been easier.also got the new veg room up to a point where I can start getting the second lot comfortable.any suggestions would be good

Out of the 4 seeds only the gnarly taproot made it successfully. It is growing visually more and more everyday and soon I will investigate other two seeds that didn’t germinate and make this a one plant operation.
