Week 02 Introduction
This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully...

Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008

--- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue.

Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009

--- 4ml of Hydroguard
--- 4 drops of Superthrive
--- PH'd down to 5.8
--- Solution strength: 302 PPM
--- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm).
--- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice?
--- I hope she gets better soon!
- [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow.
--- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear.
--- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon.
--- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton.
--- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM.
--- Added 8ml more of Sensi A
--- Added 8ml more of Sensi B
--- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water.
--- PPMs went up to 411.
--- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay.
--- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1.
Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010

--- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky.
--- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8.
--- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs
--- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot.
- [2200]: Root is getting longer!
--- Slime is returning. Not sure why.
--- Solution strength: 357 PPMs
--- PH: 6.1
--- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime.
--- Added 16ml of Sensizym
--- Added 5ml of Hydroguard
--- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice
--- New solution strength: 430 PPMs
--- New PH: 6.1
--- Top fed for a minute.
--- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime.
--- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl!
Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011

- [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now!
--- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured!
--- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients.
--- Added 8ml of Sensi A
--- Added 8ml of Sensi B
--- Added 4ml of B-52
--- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs.
--- PH was at 6.1
--- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels.
- [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime!
--- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria.
--- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs.
--- PH was at 6.2
--- Added 8ml of Bud Candy
--- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs.
--- PH also went up to 6.3
--- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth.
--- Top fed for a minute.
--- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow.
Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012

- [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime.
--- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity.
--- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs
--- PH was at 6.3
--- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536.
--- PH was still at 6.3
--- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute.
- [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though.
--- Solution strength: 514 PPMs
--- PH: 6.5
--- Added PH down.
--- New solution strength: 518 PPMs
--- New PH: 5.2
--- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low.
--- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton.
Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013

- [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow.
--- Solution strength: 514 PPMs
--- PH: 5.6
--- Top fed for a minute.
--- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then.
- [2145]: Looking pretty much the same.
--- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected.
--- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good.
--- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything.
--- Lowered the water level to below the net pot.
--- Then top fed for a minute.
Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014

- [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY!
--- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean.
--- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful.
--- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket.
--- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot.
--- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo.
--- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength).
--- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form.
--- Then I ran the water pump.
- [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines.
--- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution.
--- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak.
- [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton.
- [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system.
--- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot.
--- Ran system again to sterilize even more.
- [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse.
--- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again.
--- Did this a few more times over about an hour.
- [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water.
--- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A
--- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B
--- Added 12ml of B-52
--- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice
--- Added 16ml Sensizym
--- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs
--- PH was at 5.6
--- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up.
--- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients.
--- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute.
--- Here's hoping for the best. Going to let it ride until morning! Please feel better!

The guy is actively scattering pollen, even too actively there is a fear that he will shoot back too quickly, I am trying to collect pollen. I am doing this for the first time and have tested different methods:
1) I put the bag on the branches, but condensation collects in these bags and kills this pollen, maybe I don’t understand something, I heard about this method quite often, but I still don’t understand how it works
2) I laid the sheets under the plants, the pollen does not seem to fall off as much as I would like and there is also a lot of debris left on the sheets. The method certainly works, but there are some nuances
3) For myself, I chose to collect pollen by hand from the leaves, simply brushing it directly into the storage container with a brush.
Since this is my first experience, I don’t know how pollen behaves in a box and specifically in my box, so I try to apply it manually to the largest plant, in the end it will be clear whether this makes sense or whether the pollen itself gets to the flowers perfectly.
One of my girls was attacked by a fan, which I turned off and fixed at the very top so that when I opened the box, it wouldn’t blow pollen out for me. As a result, it fell and broke a couple of good branches😭😭😭, now I have a wonderful bouquet of plants in my bedroom
In general, I increased it to 1000, but I continue to give different doses so as not to catch salting. I also removed Plagron Green Sensation food since I ran out of it, I want to change the manufacturer. Plagron generally suits me, but why not try something new, maybe you can recommend something?

This week was good , didn’t noticed too much growth until I look at pictures and the buds have def gotten fatter and filling in. Still unsure why the leaves are curling slightly. Mayb too strong of a light , I can’t raise it too much more. Contemplating changing to 18&6 instead of 20&4 but i think it could shock them any suggestions?

Hoy he pasado todo el día mirando por la ventana, es todo luz y color!! 😘 Mi armario es triste, aunque al menos se está caliente y me da luz cuando el día acaba, he estado haciendo señas a las otras plantas a través del cristal, pero ellas no se mueven, no responden, parece que les cuesta, tienen las hojas muy gordas, no como yo, que soy liviana, elástica y grácil... me quiero!! 😍

Ya he desarrollado mi tercer nudo, mi cultivador está muy contento, pero sobre todo porque me ha dicho que mis raíces están creciendo perfectas; blancas, peludas, vigorosas y muy verticales... me ha dicho que si sigo así la semana que viene me trasplanta a una maceta mayor, que será mi suelo para toda la vida!! 😊
Le he preguntado que maceta me pondrá, pero me ha dicho que no lo sabe aún, pero que me reserva algo especial!! Yupyyy!!
Me ha dicho también que si me porto bien y sigo creciendo me va a poner un armario de floración para mi sola!!.... que suerte!! 😋
Anoche mi jefe me preguntó si no tenía sed, porque dice que consumo mucha agua, le he tenido que explicar que la temperatura de estos días y mi tamaño no necesita más, que por ahora mis raíces crecen libres por los agujeros de la maceta y captan la humedad ambiente. Aun así anoche mi cultivador me regó con un agua templada que me sentó muy bien, además desde ese riego siento unas cosquillas en mis raíces, mi jefe dice que son los Microorganismos que me inoculó y que serán mis eternos ayudantes para el flujo de nutrientes y minerales por todo mi ser. Esta mañana los he conocido!! 😳 son muy, muy pequeños, no los veo, sólo los siento y los escucho 😦, me han dicho que ellos necesitan constantemente la energía que produzco, captada de la luz... el azúcar, porque los MM son diabéticos y no almacenan azucar, si tienen ellos trabajarán día y noche para solubilizar los nutrientes del suelo y pasármelos a mi... no estoy segura de poder hacerlo... soy muy pequeña 😨... le voy a a preguntar al jefe...
Ya lo tengo claro!! 😊 vengo de hablar con el jefe y me ha dicho que no me preocupe por el azúcar, el le dará melaza a los MM y también la materia orgánica para que coman y se reproduzcan por millones y mantengan mis raíces muy funcionales para absorber todos los nutrientes que necesito... Yeah, que haría yo sin mi jefe?!! 😁
Hoy estábamos todos contentos, bueno menos el perro de mi jefe, que me ignora y sólo quiere comer y jugar... es un presumido!!
Hoy para festejar el día nos hemos hecho un selfie, mi jefe, mi prima Sweet Amnesia Haze y yo... estoy haciendo migas con mi prima, aunque es muy pequeñita todavía y habla poco, yo la cuido como si fuera su hermana mayor, dormimos hasta en la misma cama.
Realmente los días de esta semana son muy tranquilos y hasta monótonos, mi jefe se esfuerza en mantenernos calentitas, pues el frío exterior es mucho... pero hoy la rutina se ha roto!! una vibración muy agradable y estimulante ha recorrido todo mi cuerpo... he conocido la música!! 😁... estoy tan emocionada que mi cultivador me ha preparado un escenario, y ha dicho... que no pare la fiesta!! y también me ha dado una mariquita para decorar mi pequeña maceta... mi primera joya!! 😁
En esta discoteca improvisada hemos bailado, cantado y hecho coros, para acabar regados con la emoción incontenida de dos amigos inseparables!!

Básicamente lo mismo, aunque está semana pilló bastante más horas de luz(tuve que irme fuera de casa dos findes seguidos, en los cuales la dejé con la luz encendida full 24/7 en la caja)
Como experiencia utilicé café reposado 48h para "alimentarla" e intentar bajar el Ph de la tierra (coco ph6+hummus ph7+vermiculita ph8= ph total 7)
El otro experimento fue cubrir la tierra con coco para que el tallo eche raíces y aprovechar su espigamento!
Las horas de luz solía dejarla 8h en bombilla mientras duermo, y el día la pongo en la ventana a que tome el fresco, pero apenas tiene luz directa, me da la sensación que crece más rapido cuando vuelvo del finde, estoy replanteandome tenerla más tiempo en la caja con luz, porque la veo aún pequeña, y quizá ponerle un ventilador de pc o algo🤔..veremos, aún tengo el papel de aluminio al lado de la caja y ni se lo he puesto, con eso os lo digo todo☝️🎃

привет всем, вот еще одна неделька пролетела очень быстро, растиха выпила воды 3.5 литра воды за неделю, на этой неделе добавил PK13-14_ надеюсь продолжение роста будет хорошое...
скажите свое мнение по поводу цеветов, нормальные они на этот период или нужно что то изменить

Having removed the other two guests, this week they had more space in the growbox, so I took advantage of this and let the buds mature for another week.

This is definitely one of the slower growing autos I have run. 11 weeks after germination and the buds are only starting to fatten up now.
AH#2 is looking like it could easy yield double her older sister! Let's hope the added molasses can help her get some fat nugs!

Week 4 flower: all 3 plants left in the tent are pollinated - it's hard to tell to what extent but bud formation has slowed down 😞. Middle plant (Mimosa Evo #2) is definitely the strongest pheno and its trichomes smell like tangerines which is really nice! We did an intense defoliation on Day 24 of flower in an attempt to lower humidity and increase airflow but RH is still dangerously high at 80% because of the current weather. Also gave them a bloom PK top dressing on day 26 because canna coco does not provide a PK boost in their coco nutrient line. Hope to see the buds dense up over the next few weeks without too many seeds ...

Another week of waiting!! We have AMBER!!
Flower times according to TNSB
Purple Kush est. Flower time - 8 weeks
Cheese est. Flower time - 8-9 weeks
The Purple should be done next week and is only getting water when she is thirsty.... lift the pot technique works great!! Like previous Purple Kush grows I've done she is very popcorn like nugs and might be a little tricky to trim.
The Cheese still has a few weeks left. Nice bud structure with the smallest nug being the size of a golf ball.... LOVE IT!! This was the last week for nutrient feeds and was still on a Nute, Water, Water schedule. (950 PPM on nutrient feeds)

Beginning of week 4 looking good, I think she will start flowering in week 5-6, so I might top her, she is growing fast so I hope it will not harm flowering time.

I did top
And 24 hours later I can see all is well, where I topped her is healing, and side branches responding! I know she will be ready for flowering.

😞😞😞My Alaskan purple and the one I gifted my girlfriends son have the weird discoloration. It appeared at the same time on both plants that r at 2 dif places so its not likely to b fertilization or the dirt.
Other then that everything is going good and the stretch appears to be setting in. Thought id have another week or so but obviously not.
This damn Alaskan purp is confusing the hell outta me 7/27

The purple lemonade is flowering nicely the buds are showing purple already and the gorilla cookies auto is flowering it has very tight node spacing which will mean bigger and fatter buds my tent is smelling great at the moment it will intensify as they grow

📆 Semana 6
La Variegated Sour GPP está avanzando con personalidad propia.
Aunque no ha mostrado variegación en esta ocasión, se está expresando de forma muy peculiar: los cogollos tienen una estructura apretada y densa, con una forma que recuerda a una pequeña coliflor —compacta, nudosa y muy distinta al resto del jardín.
El plan nutricional sigue siendo el de XpertNutrients, que está funcionando sin pegas. Esta planta está comiendo bien y sin quejarse. El ritmo de riego lo mantengo ajustado a su consumo real, evitando saturaciones y permitiendo que respire entre riegos.
Los Adlite siguen haciendo un trabajo excelente, y se nota sobre todo en cómo ha desarrollado las puntas: la iluminación pareja ha ayudado a que los cogollos se formen de manera simétrica y con buena producción de resina.
A nivel climático, seguimos con temperaturas en torno a los 22-25°C y una humedad del 55% que, aunque no es ideal, no está generando problemas gracias a una buena ventilación y movimiento de aire constante.
Los aromas comienzan a destacar con una mezcla ácida y ligeramente especiada, fiel al perfil Sour. Los tricomas se están volviendo lechosos, sin señales de ámbar todavía, así que aún queda margen para que siga cogiendo cuerpo.
