Week 10 – Ready for the final stretch Most of the pistils have turned brown, with only a few white hairs remaining – a clear sign that harvest is approaching fast. The buds have bulked up nicely, becoming denser and stickier, covered in a frosty layer of trichomes. The aroma has intensified, leaning towards a sweet, fruity profile, likely enhanced by the Bud Candy. The foliage looks healthy, and I performed a light defoliation to improve airflow. At the beginning of the week, the plant received its final feeding: a mix of Green Sensation and Bud Candy in 2 liters of distilled water. That was followed by a dose of Flawless Finish. From now on, only pH-adjusted water will be used until harvest.

12/8 - Here we are at the beginning of week 10. Her buds are starting to frost up and she is definitely bulking up more than her sister, but her sister has a longer projected flowering time-frame (Heavy Sativa vs Indica). Anyways, did some minor pruning for airflow optimization and to remove some unhappy leaves from her undergrowth. They weren't yellow, but they weren't getting enough light and it was showing. Haven't done much to her this week other than top her off with Tap every other day. Seems like her feed from last week was on point as her pH and EC were solid as the water level lowered. After her first top-off, her EC started to fall as she ate more (reflected in the lower ec in the res after topping off with tap). Tapered her down to 80% strength as she is moving further along in flower and should hopefully finish sooner than her sister. If she needs a bump in her EC, I may top off with full strength nutes, but I'm going to just wait and see how she responds. Breeder's timeline reflects a ~65 day seed-to-harvest, but I can assure anyone out there growing this strain in DWC that she will not be ready in that time-frame. Currently she is sitting on day 67 and still looks like she has another 2 weeks or more. I grew her in soil before and she was ready pretty darn close to her expected time-frame (~70 days), but this strain responds to DWC differently. She didn't have slow growth or anything; just seems like she will veg longer in hydro than in soil. Not sure why. Thanks for stopping by the garden, and, as always, Happy Growing!

Para empezar me dieron gato por liebre, nunca mejor dicho, me dijeron que era feminizada de temporada y resultó ser autofloreciente. Eso muy mal. Las flores aparte se ven resinosa y tienen colores llamativos. La planta sin más, típica rudelaris que sinceramente detesto. Fue una genética con la que no disfruté cultivarla, aunque es bastante fácil de cultivar. A stackin we will go a stackin we will go. Well she is doing great and really putting on some serious mass. I grew this auto under 24 hour light a day for the first 7 weeks and the result was zero stretch between nodes. She just stacked solid colas all the way around. I'm really impressed by how big and solid this autos buds are. Today was my first inspection of trichome development and all are cloudy from the top of the plant to the very bottom along with about 90% red and curled in pistils. So I'm thinking at least two more weeks or until half the trichomes are ambered up what ever comes first. Can't wait to try this strain because she is really starting to develop a strong cheesy skunk smell and her trichome production is on overdrive. Happy growing, Cheers!!!

However, progress has been damn good. Recovery from topping is over and the plants have adjusted to the new pot sizes.

My harvest was trimmed bud at 217.3 grams, then smaller buds, and some leaf material was 59.3 grams. Easily a half pounder auto under a 100 watt Spiderfarmer SF-1000 light. From the start to the finish it was an amazing experience with this Jamaican lambsbread , the harvest is awesome I does only 1 month (30 days) of vegetative state !!!!!!!!!

Went ahead and supercropped as they were getting a little tall. It seemed to have gone mostly well as they have recovered quickly and there are many more bud sites than before. It’s still early in flower but the Pineapple Express 1 is already full of crystals. The rest are behind but looking good. They all seem to love their nutrients. This week I will try topping off with a nutrient mix just to keep the TDS from dropping like it did last week. The LUX is around 70K on the top of the canopy! The growth seems to have slowed. There are many bud-sites but I wonder how much this will yield if there isn’t much more vertical growth. Overall feels to be going in the right direction. Learning how to maximize in this space can be challenging!

day 73 I was not ready for all this! 🤣🤣 they literally exploded and I started seeing purple on these buds I had to tie them up so the weight of the flowers didn't break the branches. compared to El Patron that I also have in my tent, Purple is much fatter and shorter. they have a very sweet scent and I can't wait to taste it, but alas I will go there a little longer.
