Still going...sigh... 3/18 ; did a water change and man is ut getting awkward getting her out of the tent to do water changes. I might drill and put a valve on the very bottom of the bucket next grow to make water changes a little easier in the future. 4 gallons of well water with 4 tsp of maxi grow and 1 tsp of Kool bloom. I added 1 tbl of calmag for the hell of it. The older leaves are looking a little stressed. The buds seem to be swelling to me, but strange enough, seems like the smell is decreasing. But what there is, is very fruity.ph to 6.1

Right now I am just playing the waiting game with White Widow and Industrial Plant. Both have shown signs of maturation with their trichomes but neither one has a majority of milky trichomes yet. In hindsight, I should have waited until Industrial Plant was more mature before I started flushing her -- I've lost a few weeks that I could have been continuing to fatten her up. I added more bamboo rods and tied branches to them with some plant tape on both plants. White Widow's buds are rock hard and keep bending its branches so hopefully the extra support will help. I cut off the main cola and a side cola of Industrial Plant CBD due to bud rot that I failed to notice for roughly a week. After cutting out all of the bud rot I could find on Industrial Plant I checked over her and White Widow meticulously to make sure everything was kosher. I added a spare oscillating fan in the tent to try and improve air circulation in the room. I have had trouble with humidity and temperature shifts throughout this grow -- something I'll have to dial in as I progress. I imagine the climate shifts combined with how thick the main cola was probably contributed to the bud rot. Seedsman White Widow Auto is ready to be harvested as of Day 100. Over 2 days her trichomes really started to turn amber. I have started flushing her as of today and plan to harvest a day or two into the start of Week 15. As for Dinafem Industrial Plant Autoflowering CBD? I am thinking of just cutting my losses if her trichomes haven't gotten to at least majority-milky by the time White Widow gets chopped. She just looks mostly-dead and only wants a drink once every 7-10 days now. That and I have some new gear I really want to test out, as well as some different ideas for my second run that I've been itching to get started on.

Day 29 - Topped both ladies at the fifth node and removed any growth below. Growth exploded since transplant and first dose of nutrients. Day 30 - Watered both ladies with around 100ml of water. They recovered from the topping and look as healthy as can be. Very happy with progress. Day 32 - Misted both ladies. Will water tomorrow with another dose of light nutrients. Day 33 - Watered both ladies with around 250ml each. Increased dosage slightly from last feed to see how they take it. Day 35 - Both ladies taking the feeding like champs. Vigorous growth showing in both, planning to top them again next week and remove any growth below the topped nodes. Misted to keep them nice and hydrated.

These lady's have formed very nice buds even have a few show purple 😍 this strain has been very good can't wait to see war other color pop off right it's the start of 6th week flower

Last week went good for the first week of flower, having trouble again with my ph meter....ughhh. Ordered 2 new ph meters this week, a decent 4 in 1 (ph/ec/ppm/temp) pen and plug in, 3 in 1 (ph/ec/temp) meter with leads to leave in my res(my second one for my second res). Also got more calibration solution, and storage solution. Sick of second guessing my crappy pens, gonna start fresh will all new ph equipment. Lol but she really started to stretch out this week, with the little amount of lst I did to her just before flip she has really bulked up and spread out. 10 days into flower now and she is still stretching and being tucked. I removed a few of the larger guard leaves up top to open up the secondary shoots to light, I have around 40000 lux at the first screen and they seem to be handling it nicely. I will be doing a major underclipping and removing everything below the first net in a few days time I think. I flipped this tent without filling the screen and I’m hoping to keep everything low and tucked until the stretch is almost finished, then let them bud up into the higher lux, hopefully keeping them less then a foot above the screen. That’s the plan anyway. Lol well that’s it for this week, Cheers💨

On 3 of them I applied LST and Topping On other 3 Toppin only I am aware that they will soon run out of space,which means that I will have to move two of them to another tent...we'll see

I mean this genetics it's excellent ... if I would grow zombie kush again ... good job ripper seed ... she fought and was very strong against the plagues after a beginning outdoors ... she fought against the white fly. worms .. red spider and other insects ... and deserves your recognition ... it will not be the most beautiful plant with its leaves impeccable ... but she is a champion ... thank you ripper seed .. .

I’m really happy with the development she’s shown. I suspect she will probably top a half pound (226g) pretty easily! I like big plants…

2nd week of flower

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Week 7 flower and it’s smelling lovely had to top dress the slurricane which is the big one at the back, she’s hungry all the rest will be alright for the last 3 or so weeks. 1 of the blackberry moon rocks, 2 nova og, 2 Purps og, 1 future and 4 mob boss I’ve started to give just water as they only have a week left.

First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition.
