Was such a pleasant harvest from start to finish, no issues at all. A tip for next time would be to have the SCRoG lower as I couldn’t really tuck any node sights this time round, smells absofuckinglutely amazing from 3RD week bloom onwards!

Just pulled it today. Lots of pics to come and the weigh in. Going to update everything as I cure. Curing is going well. Speed dried a little as I’m impatient as hell. Pretty happy with the results. This White Widow strain is very good. Extremely resistant to bugs. I’ve dealt with a spider infestation throughout this grow and only got it under control in the last few weeks. Daily maintenance and cleaning got me through flower and I was able to pull this off. At harvest it was cut and immediately went into a bud wash to clean them up and remove any leftover mites, residue, etc. I usually do a bud wash, especially if it’s outdoor. If done properly it has no impact and I find it produces a smoother taste tbh. This was my second attempt at dwc. I’m very happy with it and will continue. I’ll update the weights when things are cured.

Figured I would start a part two, since GD doesn't go further than 32 weeks. I only have about 6-8 weeks left, so this won't be a long one, but it will be detailed.

Could have gotten more off the plant of it wasn’t mutated from the get. But oh well I’m not mad about it. I just won’t be growing anything from that company ever again and also won’t be growing old strains anytime soon. I’ve had so much more success with other genetics of different strains from different company’s. The Skywalker from DNA came out amazing. The sour wiz just came down and that’s even better. This was the girls last week! I decided to call them finished on day 63 the tricomes are almost all cloudy, with a small amount of amber. I’ve learned that they continue to degrade as you dry and cure your flower, so I’m trying something new for me, and pull them a little earlier than I usually would. In addition, after watching a podcast (Dude Grows Show) if you don’t know, check it out… I decided to run the lights for 18 hours instead of 12/12 for the last 5 days before harvest. The idea behind this, is to stress the plant enough to increase its natural sunblock/protections, which would be terpenes and tricomes just before you harvest, while also possibly quickening the finishing time for your plant. The group was discussing the benefits of this (listed above) while some already had implemented these practices when finishing plants. The recommended time to run extra light time would be around the last 5-9 days of the plant, without having any nanners or weirdness happening with your plants. Anyways, they finished amazing, sticky, stinky and heavy ❤️ the Terps are crazy on these strains….Harvest details to come. Thanks for stopping by 💚🇨🇦👊

Hey yall! Another week down. A lot has happened. To start, we up-potted from the red solos into my living soil blend that I have been working on for almost a year. It's so full on living creatures and beneficials. I used to have fungus gnats a lot when working with living soil, it's almost impossible to avoid. .. Then enters beneficials; we have black soldier Flys, persimillis predatory mites, definitely earth worms, most likely a mix of night crawlers. No more fungus gnats, I highly recommend using beneficial nematodes, cucumeris and persimillis predatory mites are excellent (swirski predatory mites are expensive). Just look at the Soil Food Web and identify what pest you have, then purchase their predators from a trusted insectary. Anyways I added another 200watt LED and spread out the plants in a 2' X 4' tent. It's extremely dry in my location and having the heat on makes the air even drier. So getting my VPD stable has been an immense challenge. Right now Also we need to be able to add VPD or at least GD needs a built in calculator to help folks with VPD, Vapor Pressure Deficite. As of right now I am sitting at 0.85 VPD, so pretty good for today. I have 4 humidifiers and have had to hang moistened towels on the doors of the room I am growing in. It literally has been a huge challenge to keep the humidity high enough for my VPD to be in range for the young plants I have now. Good thing is my current humidity without running any humidifiers is perfect for the flowering stage, so I can't wait to move this along. As for topping and training; like I said I really want to move these ladies into flowering sooner than later. I have several reasons to do limited training so I can limit my veg time, also getting this crop done as fast as possible is best for my set up. Until I can get a larger house 🏠 😩 because we got a baby on the way 👶 so need to make space. I have made compost tea twice this past week, wetting the soil and also spraying the leaves. My sprayer broke so I ended up pouring the tea on the plants gently, I got worm castings on the leaves lol. Gently rubbing that off once they dried. Also I applied the tea at night. My tea recipe: Reverse Osmosis water, 2 to 4 gallons I bubble that with added minerals for a day Add 2-3 cups of Activated worm castings (To activate the castings I added about 3 gallons of high quality castings with what I consider to be nutrient amendments, SO I add = kelp meal, neem cake, organic coconut flour, organic corn meal, organic wheat flour, and organic cold milled flax seeds and let that sit for a week then add about 2 to 3 cups of that mix to the tea) I also add biology from about a cup of 2 different soil mixes I have around my compost bin, just trying to get a more diverse biology by adding those two different soil sources. And mind you the grow beds I took the soil from has been organic for many years and has a large amount of beneficials and tons of excellent biology. Other than that I bubble that for 12 to 24 hours, with as much air as I can get. I use air stones but you really need to clean them off once you are done brewing. I also have an Air Lift with a large air pump that really works great, K.I.S. Organics sells one that works great or you can build one easily with with PVC pipe and a few adapters from any Home Depot or Lowes. Also I do add DynoMyco to my roots when up-potting. They are an amazing brand that has backed up research, I think they have more propagules per gram of two strains they identified to work great with cannabis. Now having said that, each individual phenotype out of each individual and specific strain/cultivar is going to have different bacteria/fungal strains that it prefers and by growing the same strain, hopefully the same exact cut, and grow 3 to 4 cycles before you truly have the mycelium networks built and fully functional. What I am saying is stop throwing out "used" soil and go over 7 gallons, bigger the better for biodiversity. Stop buying "new" soil, amend your previous beds and pots. You will see a huge difference. Hey, now were cooking, week 4 of flower and I see the stretch on the Time-Lapse. I am working on a watering system to replace the hand watering, It is becoming more difficult to get the 3 back plants so I got some goodies on amazon to make a semi-automatic system. nothing on a timer I'll just flip the switch on and off to feed or flush, more on that next week. so far they are starting to bud, I took some of my Feminized pollen and rubbed a bud on one of each strain, I hope to get a cross if not the I'll still get buds. so the Royal gold Tupur really holds the moisture these things can go for 3-4 days with out water. That makes me nervous with the RH at 73% I might have to put on the Dehumidifier on and set it to 50%-55% RH. ok they If you have any thoughts or comments feel free to, Be safe GODZILLA vs KONG in March... This fifth week started off kinda rough. I had to remove some sick leaves that got hit by leaf miners. I’ve cleaned up all the damaged parts from the plants, including this one. On Monday, I’m gonna spray them with a ready-to-use mix that has Neem oil, nettle extract, and horsetail. I also noticed a slight nutrient deficiency, probably because until now I was only watering with untreated tap water — didn’t check the pH at all. Even when I fertilized, I still used water with no pH adjustment. I’ve only just started using pH-controlled water like two or three times now, since I finally bought a pH meter. Now I’m watering and fertilizing with everything adjusted to 6.5, so that’s something I need to keep in mind from now on. I’m planning to bump up the fertilizer to 1 ml per 500 ml of water. I’m using Biobizz Bloom, and I wanna keep the dose like that because the pot is small — just 3.2 liters — so I don’t wanna overdo it with 1 liter of water. I’ve noticed that 500 ml works just fine, so I’ll stick to that. Other than that, everything seems to be going okay.

I have to make 2 full batches of nutes to get through a week they are thirsty girls! plants seem to be healthy almost week 7 cant wait :-)

Richtig fett 🤩 Diese Woche noch Vollgas, ab nächster Woche wird der EC runter gefahren um Verbrennungen zu verhindern und die Natürliche Farbgebung zu stärken. Die Pflanze sieht sehr vital aus und die Blütenbildung und vorallem der Geruch sind umwerfend. Jetzt werde ich noch ein letztes mal Blätter entfernen um der Fettung und Reifung der Blüten das beste Milieu zu bieten. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit ist etwas niedrig aber das ist schon ok, die Pflanze verträgt das scheinbar sehr gut. Demnach habe ich keine Angst, das hier Schimmel entsteht. Frohes growen :)

Week 8 flower, watering until the end. No more top dressing or fish shit. Just the same de chlorinated tap water, not ph’d or filtered that I’ve been using since the beginning. Comes out the tap with a ph of 7 and less than 15ppm tds. The soil takes care of everything.

Week Six (more like Week 4 or 5) alright, a lot happened. first in rearranged the plants to get a nice even canopy to flip to flower. as planed, I changed the lights to 16/8 and upped the power to around 75% at 50cm to the canopy. every plant got a topdressing with Terra Preta, rockdust, biovin and seeweed (rooting powder) and fed the plants with colonize and organic feed 5-2-5 (see pics). I got worried about the bagseed. on RNG 2# I see what's looks like male and female sex. on RNG 1# I think there a female sex signs, but I am not sure. only on RNG 3# I see more than one female sign on the nodes. I read you can have a high chance of hermies with bagseeds. on the other side, some strains came from bagseed. but I don't search for strains, so two new plants appeared suddenly. one gelato from zamnesia and one San Fernando Valley X The Purps from growers choice, both feminized and photoperiod. I decided to keep the RNG 3# as she is the safest to grow out. she shows female sex clearly and is the smallest of the bagseeds. so the fits nice with the fastbuds and the two new plants. I can happy give the bagseeds to a new home, so maybe I still see some result from the RNG 1# and 2#. I mixed some new soil with amendments and transplanted to 11l pot. they also got a good chunk of colonize and the normal dosage of feeding. I watered them in and the gelato popped back up, the SFV was a bit sad, some lower leafs hung down, but she like the transplant. both are in very good shape. one day after the transplant I will do some deleafing and training. also I get the mars hydro clip fan to get some needed air-circulation in the tent. so in a week or so, I will flip to flower, this will be the last update in veg. thanks for reading or checking out my grow.
