In the main tent, nothing but general checkups for the most part. Chill Out OG seems to have stopped stretching by the end of the week and buds have already started to swell up. The rest of the phenos in the tent have been showing clear signs of flowering, but are also still stretching. Towards the end of the week, had to supper crop Heady OG. As for the veg tent, been keeping up with solo cup waterings. Also re-amended the 7-gallon pots and reduced them down to 3-gallons. Also took more mother clone cuttings which were planted into Coco Coins and are now rooting in the propagation tray. I usually try to keep everything in these logs strictly for growing, but I recently lost my Father... Peace and good memories Dad. The grow continues on in your memory and for your legacy. Time to mix up the top dress for the main tent! --- Considering the plants are just at the end of the stretch phase, going to top dress for bloom. - [17:16]: Took the 5-gallon bucket with the fresh veg trimmings and added: ------ 9 cups of BuildASoil Worm Castings ------ 2 cups of Craft Blend ------ 1 cup of Gnarly Barley [Freshly Milled From Whole] ------ 1/2 cup of: --------- Ocean Blend [& Trace Minerals] --------- Premium Insect Frass [Black Soldier Fly] --------- Kashi Blend --- Mixed the amendments and set the bucket aside for later. - [17:42]: Time to re-amend both 7-gallon pots and reduce them down to 3-gallon pots. --- Took a spare 20-gallon fabric pot along with a drip tray and set them on the floor. --- Then one at a time, took each 7-gallon pot and removed the straw mulch along with Ecowitt soil sensor. Just beyond mesophilic compost and was almost turning thermophilic. --- While gloves, mixed the top dressing and could feel the warmth. Surprisingly the center was really warm in temperature. --- Did not expect the top dressing to start warming up, but it makes sense since the bucket contains greens and browns (trimmings and straw) along with a compost (worm castings). The dry amendments also helped to activate the biology in the mixture. --- Pretty cool! --- Well. Waited a moment, then misted again. --- Repeated this process until both cups weighted at least 300g. --- There was no runoff. - [21:59]: Took the saturated weight of both cups after watering, ------ TKO #2-1 » 360.3g ------ Gorilla Goat #1-1 » 360.8g --- Updated the wet weight and watering dates for both cups. --- Placed both cups back into the tent. - [22:08]: Time to transplant the Heady OG and TKO cuttings into Coco Coins for rooting. --- Filled a measuring cup with 1.5 cups of RO water. ------ Added a pinch of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] ------ Added 1/64tsp of Horticultural Aloe ------ Added 1/32tsp of Mycrobe Complete --- Mixed the solution thoroughly. - [22:19]: Dropped 4 Coco Coins into the measuring cup. --- The coins immediately started to expand. ------ [» ~5 MINUTES LATER «] --- Placed each fully saturated Coco Coin into half-cut solo cups. - [22:30]: Using a squeeze bottle filled with Clonex, --- Gently filled each pre-made hole with Clonex rooting gel. - [22:33]: Time to plant the cuttings. --- Using a pair of clean trimmers, made a final 45° cut. --- Also stripped and scrapped some of the stem’s outer membrane. --- To help with planting, gave each Coco Coin a squeeze to loosen the coco. --- Made sure to insert each stem straight and snug with the tip about a 1/4 inch from the bottom of the Coco Coin. --- Also secured the stem by pinching and pressing in the top of the Coco Coin. --- Once each cutting was planted, - [22:54]: Placed each Coco Coin into the propagation dome’s tray. --- Made sure to keep each cutting properly tagged. --- Did not spray the top growth with any water. --- As far as PPFD, --- At the lowest light intensity (and raised ~14 above the tray), the PPFD is around 42 μmol/m²/s which gives a DLI of 2.72 mol/m²/d under an 18/6 light cycle --- As for the extra cuttings, culled and mulched them. - [23:02]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. Sanlight EVO 3-60 at 80% Day 29: did nothing today 👌🏻 Day 30: looking good and watered again🌊. Watered with rain water, 1 ml/l Cal Mag, and 1 ml/l Green Sensation. Day 32: looking good and watered again. Watered with rain water and 1ml/l Powerzyme, 1 ml/l Hesi Boost, 1 ml/l Cal Mag, 1 ml/l Bloom Complex and 1 ml/l Green Sensation. EC at 1.0 and a pH of 6.4.

Day 24 since sprout 3rd of April was delayed transplanting these as I was waiting on my pots to arrive, all done now there looking happy in the new pots 😁🍁

We feel very sorry for taking to long to post new content, but it's very hard with work and university (hope you can understand that) 😌 This was a really good grow. We're very happy and satisfied with the final product. It's one of our favs strains!! Top! top! See you on the next run! 😍

8/4/17 Calling this Flower but still feeding late veg nutes until stretch is over. Feeding every other day is indeed a labor savor, just over 30 minutes to water and vacuum as long as everything is pre PHed and prepared. I bought a pressure sprayer to more evenly water, but it won't work as it took about 20 minutes to water 1 plant with 1.5 gallon.s Not efficient enough, sadly. Lights are moving up once or twice a day. The time lapse camera will have to be adjusted as the tent is becoming overgrown. We have pre flowers everywhere, and Kush is 1st to flower. A couple other flowers forming, but oddly not any on the auto speed buds. I bought a dehumidifier to deal with lights out and post watering humidity spikes, and it said it had a pump so I could pump the water into a bucket outside the tent, but it apparently is just gravity. Between all my gear and the newly expanding canopy, it is starting to get crowded in the tent. I may have to return it, but I really don't want to as the size has it fit right where I need it. I think I found out what was eating my plant leaves. It was me. I accidently hit a leaf on Reek'N today with the shop vac while I was cleaning the runoff and it tore the end off a leaf and looked identical to the damage seen last week. On 1 hand, this is good news as we are still pest free (knock on wood), but on the other hand, I was careless with my girls. Shame on me. I will be much more careful in the future. I( am noticing what might be nute burn on some leaf tips on a few plants. I have not increased the PPMs since going to an every other day feeding, and am getting consistently more runoff than I was getting, PPMs of runoff are mostly around under 200 more than I am putting in, so the frequency must be burning them. I may back off one day and see what that does and adjust the schedule as needed. I could use the break, too ;) As long as they are stretching, they get Veg nutes, then a feeding or 2 of transition, then start flower nutes. Getting nute burn prior to changing PPMs was probably a good thing to alert me to back off the frequency of the feeding a bit, since they liked this PPM before with no complaints when feedings were spaced further apart. 8/5/17 They did not feed today as I am still monitoring the minor nute burn. I am starting to think, since I did not raise my nutes, that this nute burn is the result of me slowly lowering humidity to reach flowering VPD, in which case, the lower RH is causing the plants to transpire more and take up more nutes, hence the very minor nute burn I am seeing. I didn't consider the humidity to be a variable until a few minutes ago, but that would likely explain the issue. If so, I am pleased I got so close to optimal nutes that a variation of 5-10% less RH would cause this and concerned with recalibrating feed to this. It's a learning experience, tho, fo sho. They are still happily growing tho, I have had to raise my lights twice in the last 24 hours and anticipate moving them up once more today, so I guess I am still mostly giving them what they want. The Kush is the tallest at just over 22 inches. The Mango Cream, the shortest at just over 14 inches. I may have to destroy time lapse continuity to better match heights with lights as in full flower, they move to around 12 inches (they have been at 18 inches through veg). I likely won't be too aggressive on light placement both for spread and to avoid light burn in flower. We shall see. 8/6/17 LMFAO I am starting to look for a home for 2 of the Auto Speed Buds. Nothing against them in particular, but I may need to make room and I have 3 of them and only 1 of every other strain. Things are going a bit bonkers in the tent and unless I want to see them fight to the death, I may have to make room. I will monitor things and decide. What I thought was burn might actually be a def. I have consulted on a forum and have been persuaded to up my ppm at the same ratios. It makes more sense than burn, tbh, so I am going to go for it, new measurements to come, first feeding with new ppm tomorrow. I am finding it very difficult to water and handle the Auto Speed Bud #1 in the center. The canopy is QUITE thick. The Kush is now over 10 cm taller than the breeder estimated for an indoor at over 70 cm. I am going to continue to feed every other day until they force me to feed every day. I am also going to continue with Veg nutes next feeding. 8/9/17 still growing, keeping the new full dose feeding. Will likely start upping the GH additives too. Kush is now over 80 cm. 8/10/17 As we wrap up week 6, Kush is getting close to 90cm, 50% taller than expected. 2 of the SPeed Buds are still in preflower, oddly. Everyone is healthy and getting huge. Having issues watering the plants in the middle because of the thickness of the canopy. Last night my Raspberry Pi got into a boot loop. Since I run the time lapse with that, I have to do an emergency new setup to get the time lapse rolling again. I am putting together a tutorial to make one yourself and will have info when it is completed. There will be some disruption to the time lapse from thi missing time period, but honestly, I have been having to move the camera up so often because of the growth it will likely not matter much. The plants are so big, I may push the next feeding past GH recommendations. Most people advise not to go anywhere near that, but the plants are so big and thriving so well and already got a bit of a def, I want to see if I can push them a little more by late flower. I have given full strength nutes and GH additives today to 5 of them, so will monitor and likely increase base trio ppms if all goes well.

This particular plant seems to be growing well! Has been defoliated over the week and toped a second time! As well as mainlining her! Looks very healthy and happy 😊 🌸💕

Well they're still doing well. No other seeds found. I guess we're in the home stretch at this point. Just keeping them watered and fed whenever needed.

This thing has a great smell to it I can’t explain the smell best I can say is candy but like it’s a candy in a wrapper smell if you get me already sticky

The GSC took off this week on a stretch and are looking really sativary long and pointy . Flushed again this week and will start sneaking in some bloom nutes once the stretch is done .

Babied these girls and shows the capability of some strains under optimal conditions. Especially throughout flower. Progress is becoming very noticeable.

There haven't been many visible changes this week, but the plant continues to mature day by day. The trichomes keep developing and the aroma becomes deeper and more expressive as harvest gets closer. The last weeks of flower are always a balancing act for me. Past experiences with bud rot make me cautious, but at the same time I don't want to harvest too early and miss out on the plant's full potential. I'm still learning to find the sweet spot between playing it safe and letting the plant finish naturally.

Today i decided to heavily defoliate the plants. I also found a old feeding schedule from Green House with PH values, and it recommends that i should give an PH of 5.7 on coco. I thought PH 6 was good, but i was wrong, maybe this in combination with the plants being too wet, is the reason for the weird growing leaves, and the problems they show. I cleaned the reservoir and made sure there is no old water in the lines. I made a full strength 10L feed, and added it to the reservoir. I turned the reservoir on for around 3 mins, just to the point that the AutoPot trays are full of water and the valves are shutting them off, then i turn the reservoir off. Wat een mooie week heeft ze weer achter de rug. De toppen zijn aardig dik geworden en sinds ik haar alleen water geef zijn haar bladeren steeds meer geel geworden. Moon rock auto has been progressing more into her flowering stage. I have been keeping up on her kst and selective defoliation when needed. Not much has changed beside she is just getting bigger. I don't forsee this plant getting really big. I could be wrong. Nothing more to report on.
