Long time extractor, first time growing (both s/o and myself). Already starting the next grow. This was one plant/pheno in a 4x4 sharing a 600w light @ 75% or less the entire time. Only tracking ONE PLANT this harvest but for reference - we pulled just over a lb dry weight total from all 4. End dry weight - Buds: 104 grams - Sugar Trim - 35 grams End flower rosin - 14.5 grams (1st press) - 1.2 grams (2nd press) [Press 96 grams] ~15% yield (not great but expected from autoflower) Chopped a little earlier than desired (10/70/20 amber/cloudy/clear profile) due to a scare of a nanner. Being new growers, we recently learned we could have plucked the nanner off and let it flower another couple weeks. Dried branches at 65-70f/55-60rh for 7 days then stored in grove bags until pressed in 37u micron bag, ~180f, 2.5min.

Deceded to cut! Perhaps a little prematurely but I was seeing cloudy and some amber so decided to pull the trigger. First grow and all so hopefully only up from here! Not much to note apart from the buds fattening up and further fading in the leaves as expected. I dropped the temp a bit and they spent their final 48 hours in darkness. Literally just going off what I have read and I will have nothing to compare this to as this is my first grow! Very happy with what i see and I am now hanging the plants whole. I am expecting some nice clean smoke as these were flushed for their final 3 weeks. Hoping for a 7-10 day dry and then into jars for curing after trimming over screens Will update harvest for all 3 plants once this stage is complete with dry weights. It's been a beautiful strain to work with, the flowrs are definitely worth it after all this time, the quality is definitely high. However this pheno of ak420 smells very different from the other 2 phenos I've grown along with her. The flowrs are beautiful, very solid and frosty nuggets, I smoked a few little nuggets when trimming but I'm excited to taste the big buds, hope you guys enjoyed the process. I want to say that this pheno #1 has a different smell compared to the other 2 phenotypes of ak420 that you can see here on my page as well, so stay tuned guys! Overall result is very nice, good quality, strong weed, sticky, stinky. I can say that it's very great and also you can get them for a very cheap price so it's a very good investment if you're looking for a powerful and affordable strain. Cheers growmies! ❤️💚💛💎👨‍🌾

10/28 - Pushing this update three days early since much has changed. Did a solution change earlier today to the new mix (as noted) which settled in about 740ppm (570ppm nutrients, 1.14ec + tap). After approximately eight hours (including a dark cycle), she registered 720ppm, but we will see how she swings over the next few days. The other lady in the video was given the same nutrient solution at the same time and is now showing some dark buildup on her roots that this Amnesia XXL Auto doesn't have. Her growth has been fantastic so far and she is responding well to the nutrients. I am excited to see how this goes considering this is my first DWC run and first run with Dyna Gro. Any comments, questions, observations, or concerns are always welcome. Happy Growing! Edit: 10/29 - Added 2ml/gal Botanicare Hydroguard as a preventative for any potential root issues. Edit: 10/31 - Removed two large fan leaves that were actively shading new growth nodes. PPMs have slowly climbed up to 750. Lowered to 700 with pH'ed water. Added second Mars Hydro SP150 and raised to 18" above canopy.

Start making flowers Adjust the light from 12 hours to 11 hours instead. Wait to observe the flowering Add LED lights to the lower part of the plant so that the lower flowers receive light.

Now the pics are getting better cause its up to date. Its the last week for her in veggie, ill put her in flower tomorrow because i dont want her to explode my tent. Also 5 skunks in a 60x60 tent is kinda scary but we wiiiill seee. Have a good one guys.

All 4 seeds popped, 2 were wicked, but straightened out within the first week. Had them in coco pucks and a dome, with saturated concrete perlite

End of week 4 and I have a bit more to report this week. On day 22 I topped this girl and she was a little slow to react, turns out my thermometer was in a bad spot and the girls were getting hammered by the heater 🤦‍♂️ lesson learned. Since re-positioning the thermometer they have bounced back and happy as Larry again, thank goodness. On day 27 i had brewed up my first compost tea and fed them a bit more than usual. The tea had a cup of Herbi's brew starter, a cup of work castings and a cup of organic compost. They loved it. I used the remains as a top dress afterwards. Today, on day 28, I defoliated and started LST, she's praying to the lights right now and I'm stoked! Hope you've all had a good week and thanks for checking in 🙏

Wow! She has been upgraded to a 4x4 tent with 600w of flowering lights (2x Mars Hydro TSL2000; 300w each) and she is LOVING IT! Continuing on the Early Bloom nute schedule and holding a super-solid pH/EC through the end of this week. Her uptake has started to slow, so I'm thinking that she is close to being done with stretch. She is definitely going crazy with buds as it looks to me like they swell more each day. I've been very happy with her growth so far; impressed even. I'm just hoping that the increased lighting doesn't cause her to herm due to the close distance. Updates will continue weekly, and, until then, Grower Love and thanks for stopping by the garden. ~Spaz
