This was a great experience and something I have looked forward to for 19 YEARS!!!!!! Thats right, my very first attempt was a summer when I was 14 in a backyard with mediocre results and no flower but that was my very first grow ever. 19 years later its fully legal and here I am getting 36 grams of decent bud grown by the sun in a very questionable cannabis climate!!! NO COMPLAINTS HERE!!!!!!!😋 This diary was never about getting giant buds or the best flowers but more about I'm growing ORGANIC PINEAPPLE EXPRESS IN MY BACKYARD literally a dream come true, to do this worry free, 100% legal. As far as the grow goes I will certainly have some new strategies next year, I think a plastic pot would have been better to keep the heat in at night time with the cool temps earlier on in summer. Maybe even some minor insulation would be a good idea?!?! I'll invent the canadian outdoor cannabis pot hahahah I did not scrog the lady but I did use some yoyos to pull down the outer branches to help the flowers get even light. Will try folair feeding as well next time. I also dried her outside! and trimmed her outside to, she got the full outdoor experience. I just cut the plant and hung her under the deck, worked out good as it was a fairly dry week and she dried out fairly slowly, a little quicker than the tent plants. Now in about a week or 2, maybe a small cure at least first I will be doing the end game goal, smoking endless doobies of pineapple express while watching pineapple express!!!!!!!!! Growth is phenomenal , scent is starting to get stronger. Looking super healthy noticeable growth daily. That bud candy from advanced nutrients is really coming into work now. Aug 24: cool and rainy lately but will warm up again in a couple days. Gorilla Cookies looks really good and is flowering nicely. Very nice strain. Added some soluble seaweed to the water mostly for the K. Don’t take flash pics of photoperiods unless you’re immediately using a 730 nm light to put them into dark mode. Using the far red light like this is known as phyto-forcing and it’s like getting an extra two hours of darkness making a 26 h day. This far north I think it moves flowering up by 3-4 weeks so obviously a huge trick. Easy and cheap if you have daily access at dusk. Aug 26: it’s been a couple of weeks but I figured it was time for a lazy compost tea. I watered with it slightly diluted and the plants look almost immediately greener and more vigorous…amazing actually. 👍👍 Aug 27: this is definitely the fastest flowering of the four. Hopefully it stays sunny for a few more weeks. Thinned out the understory a bit as there were some small branches and bud sites that were not going to do anything. Check out the birds sounds on the first video. The magpies thought I was too close to their nest in the tree or something…they’re usually not quite that annoying. Aug 29: this is a great strain, and the manifold is working its magic.

Been on the Spananbis so I wasnt able to check on them but they did really good the last few days. Put a net on them to spread them out a bit cause im scared of not enough airflow between the plants

Topped in last few days 2-3 days ago, was completely overran with life , kids and work so didn’t do SST on Wednesday , nor water as the reservoir is still somewhat half full, I mist the top soil lightly, was everyday , last 4 days every 2-3 days as cover crop retain moisture and probably pull some from the reservoir . Galaxy Grape 2nd seed sprouted but got ate by mould mites 😂, actually they manage to eat 2 Galaxy grapes and Eden secret sprout 🙈🤣🤣, 100% living soil and only strong will survive 🙈😂😂😂😂 elimination by necessity of nature haha

Great week. Plants going fast now. Buds starting, strong smell. Plants have a great structure. So far so good. Looking forward to try the different flavors. Great genetics and light , thanks everyone

Pretty easy so far haven't feed any nutrients just plain water and great white mycorrhizae mixed with molasses. Gonna be moving them by next week to my tent and start training and topping them by the fifth node so soon 😁.

I’ve introduced Alga-Max as a PK boost to help the buds chunk up. As you can see she’s doing just great and is super frosty

UPDATE - 24th of February 2020 - DRY WEIGHT & LOVE 56g total dry weight, after I gave them a very nice trim. They started curing in glass jars on 19/2/2020 and are currently between 63-68%RH inside. Burping every other hour for couple of minutes. While trimming some dried buds yesterday, I came across a seed, I couldn't believe it, between 😕and 😆, first time experiencing this, interesting, hopefully she didn't lose a lot of her potency and it only happened late. Learning from this: don't change light cycle. I changed from 18 to 21 hours, thought that was a good idea... All this aside, I am sooooooo in LOVE WITH HER 😍I have never grown such a beautiful plant, excuse the photo spam, she deserves a stage, at least for me 😉I can't wait to try her properly cured and get to learn her whole taste spectrum with the low and slow dried buds. Some of them will be processed to oil and edibles. If I find time, I might document some more. Until then, happy growing everyone, peace 🙏 Tried 2 different drying methods: 1. Regular hang dry: For 7 days in small grow tent, darkness at 50% humidity & 20°C/68F - she was almost too dry after 7 days. 2. Low & Slow dry: after washing & hang-drying for 4 hours, she went into the fridge for 7 days in a paper bag, followed by several jar tests until she was at a steady 68% outside; She dried like this in the fridge for 8 days. I didn't trim her too much, since I want to preserve everything for oils. More details: 16. Nov. 2019 - 13. Feb. 2020 - 88 Days - Grown from Seed Smell of Berries; Pink & Yellow tips; Lots of long curly brown hair; Pink tiny leaf tips on top of buds. I’m in love whooooooooooaaaaaaa. Chop on 13. Feb 2020 - 461g Put in vase with PH water for 2 days in Dry Tent darkness at 50% humidity & 20°C/68F 14. Feb. 2020 Darkness Day 1 - 469g 15. 420Fastbuds FBT2301 WEEK 9 What up Grow fam. Hope everyone's having a good one. Week 9 update for these two beautiful girls. Flower sites are developing bigger and bigger daily so that's awesome to see. Starting to see more fade in the leafs on the bigger of the two but over all both are growing great. The shorter one has more fat colas as the bigger one has more branches but smaller colas nut more flower sites. I'll probably stop feeding notes this week as I generally will give a week or two of just water while they finish the last couple weeks before harvest. All in all Happy Growing

Trychomes on the sugarleafs are 50% brown, on the flower itself maybe 10% brown.

After another weekend spent away from home, on day 26 both Opiums present at 30 cm height, having grown big and bushy. Their thirst increased, I will water them when their next day starts. And do some more LST. Not too long until I can install the scrogging net. I am really impressed by their progress. They developed a lot of branching side branches and look really healthy and bushy. In contrast to what I wrote before, I think I can stay a few days longer with the current 80% 18/6 lighting scheme. Leaf positions do not show signs of light hunger, so no reason to change. Watered them with 1.5 l each on their 27th morning, this time adding some flower fertilisers too. Compensated their relief with some more LST. I can see in timelapse video they are tmelselves compensating this stress easily; it’s amazing to see how fast they turn their heads. You’ll see soon too. For reference: Pot diameter is approx. 25 cm. So lady #1 spreads about this much, lady #2 is even about 10 cm more. Guess they’ll make a very dense scrog surface, but first let’s have them have their stretch. Day 28 evening revealed ladies are getting thirstier. The holey pots might be helpful in root development, but they are not when it comes to keeping the tent clean. Because of their structure, water runs out in respectable quantities each time they are fed, which takes a long time to evaporate and adds to air humidity of course. Which on the other hand is currently quite ok. Outside air temperatures are around 30 °C the last days, so a bit more humidity helps to keep the VPD in range. Which is quite ok as I still cannot complain about their growth – around 2–3 cm each day currently. Grow video for day 28 (sorry about the interferences! Due to the control hard- & software being offline I cannot silence the blower(s) when a photo is taken anymore) shows steady growth and very vivid movements again. Dropping of their leaves around their evening is possibly due to me watering them again as soil was surprisingly dry already. On their day 29 evening, it’s clear to see how much they are stretching: They really gained 5 cm since yesterday! Lights are close to 30 cm, so I think I’ll reposition things a bit when their next week starts. Attached video shows the day’s progress. They say you cannot scrog an Automatic but seeing the development speed and bushiness I decided to give it a try nonetheless. I guess the buds can profit from being a bit more apart from each other if I handle to fiddle them through the holes in time. I rearranged the lights to be at about 45 cm apart from the tops and set the lights to 100% at a 16/8 lighting scheme, waking them up one hour later than before and sending them to sleep one hour earlier. Last day of this week, day 30, shows that growth speed has even increased. Lady 1 crosses the scrog net already which is positioned at 46 cm above soil. Gave them slightly enhanced water again, 2 l each.

She has been a pig drinkin al the water every 6 hours in this tiny spam DWC. she grew another 12 in this week alone bubba cheesecake is groing like its onsterods and workin out

Nearing the finish line! OMG these ladies are blowing me away 😳 the Tricomes are carpeted, the buds are fat and dense. I’ve been. Tapering off all the nutrients and feeding ph’d water until I get 10-15% runoff from the pot to help break up the pockets left behind and to use up what’s left in the plant. Have some very distinct phenos, all of them are stellar but there are a few standouts… won’t be much longer 🇨🇦👊❤️
