Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 97grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I'm really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I've gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I'm incredibly proud of my first results! They are forming more and more calyxes😍 Today I gave her nutrients from Biobizz Juju Royal again, the dose for Grow Soldier has gone down to 2ml/L, Green Mystic 2ml/L and Flowa Bloom is 3ml/L. She will stop her stretch soon then her main goal is to increase the calyxes and then it goes into the phase we all love the buds swell. So far everything went quite well, but at the end of the week she showed a magnesium deficit, which I can't really explain, as I pay extreme attention to these values. She was defoliated and continues to develop well despite the deficiency.

The growth of the Blue Dream continued to be poor, I still don't know what the problem is. I dug up the plant to rule out root rot. What I could see was that the roots had developed extremely poorly. I don't know what is wrong with the plant, it is being treated 1:1 in the same way as the Moby Dick. The plants have been defoliated so far and I'm curious to see how things will progress over the next few weeks.

Comeing on a treat. Just seing signs of pistols as of yesterday! One had a suspected mag deficiency.unsure why as other ones all fine. Did a foliar of epsom salts. Hasn't got any worse. One smells of sour apples and other is fruity apples! Amazing. Can't wait to see what there like in the next 3 4 weeks!

I had a few issues with this plant, and with all things considered, I'm very happy. She suffered some deficiencies and even under fed at times. She was chopped on day 79, and produced 51.1 grams (1.83 Oz) of frosty little Christmas trees. I will update the review once she has cured and after I've smoked her.

I applied too much pressure and main cola broke during final LST. I would call it super cropping if she wasn't in flowering faze already. She will recover but I doubt she will manage to reach full potential. Sprayed with boom boom spray. 20 ml orgatrex per plant and 10ml BIO P-K. Connected on auto-pot as I am gone for a week. Sun-Light EVO 80 grow light increased on 100% (Out of 4 levels I was increasing power every 2 weeks app). Light eight increased to 50 cm.

This week with this girl has been awesome she has really started to take off now that her soil is rite! She grew over 5" in the last week and that's what I chose to take for my clones. 2 to be exact and hopefully will have better results with this go around. Took me 2 clones off this mom plant so now she has been topped twice. Hopefully with the lessons from personalsmoke will end up with a couple clones of puffinz. They look sad at the moment but I havnt seen what normaly happens to clones 24 hours later. I give momma about 330 ml of de-clorinated 6.8 ph water every 2 or 3 days when the hydrometer goes around 3. She is in living soil so for now will just sit how we are and just straight water to make her happy! Thanks everyone for the love All sent back 10

30.09.24 BT#10 Guten Abend liebe Growmie's ✌️😃 Es läuft soweit alles wie es soll , die Ice Cream Cake hat ein kleines Stickstoff Defizit heute erst mal den Drain gemessen lag noch imm Bereich des erträglichen 6,0 Ph. Wollte ausschließen das zu ein niedrigen Ph wert oder ein zu hoher die Stickstoff Aufnahme gehemmt wurde aber alles im Lot. Deswegen bekommt Sie beim nächsten Gießen ihre Gewünschte Position Futter ohne Bedenken eine Nährstoffsperre zu festigen. So macht Sie sich gut klar sie ist gerade nicht in der Lage Ihr Blattwerk weiter auszubauen geschweige Blüten vernünftig zu bilden. Wanted to rule out that too low a Ph value or too high the nitrogen uptake was inhibited but everything was fine. That's why the next time she is watered she will get her desired position of food without having to worry about consolidating a nutrient barrier. In this way, it makes itself clear that it is not in a position to develop its foliage any further, let alone form flowers properly. It will recover and then it will be back in full swing until then.
