Here we are again ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic ones and now we present them to you. The second autoflowering that we present to you is the Black Orchid Autoflowering. This was advised and recommended to us directly by the Zamnesia elves and we are sure that they are keen to send us refinements, we have seen some super beautiful photos of this strain. Guys, black is black as a style of beauty for me it is unbeatable. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of the right advisors, I have chosen to divide it into phases so that those who want can follow them and understand better step by step. - Preparatory Phase ---- Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). - Phase 1 --- Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the ground 90% normally. - Phase 2 --- Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper, but not in water. - Phase 3 --- In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose the ones with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. - Phase 4 --- The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. 📆 Semana 6 Está semana, las plantas entran de lleno en la fase de engorde. La canopia se mantiene activa y las flores empiezan a ganar volumen a medida que los cálices continúan apilando. I noticed some unwanted visitors in the form of thrips and fungus gnats, so it was time to take action. But hey, I prefer a natural approach, so I called upon some tiny allies to join the battle. I introduced nematodes to the soil, those microscopic warriors who feast on the unsuspecting pests. It's like having a secret army of predators ready to defend my precious plants. But that's not all! To further bolster the defenses, I invited some other beneficial insects to the party. Spical Ulti Mite and Swirskii, the mighty protectors, joined forces to keep those unwanted critters in check. It's like an epic showdown between the good, the bad, and the buggy. Who needs a superhero movie when you have a living ecosystem fighting the good fight? In a way, the scrog net and the IPM predators are like my own version of the Avengers. They work together, each with their unique skills, to create a harmonious and pest-free environment. After four days of darkness it is time for harvest. Day 113 Flower day 66 Christmas harvest After I divided the plant in two, it was hung up and dried at 19°C for 7 days. It was then dry trimmed. Cherry High = 133g + 12g trimm

Added Buddy into the feed halfway through this week. Really impressed with these nutrients so far. All plants look happy, healthy and green.

Beginning of week 1(Bloom) Moving forward this diary will only be about this plant (Biggie Smalls). I’m going to continue to veg the other clone I took with this girl. Not sure if I want to bloom it after I harvest this one, or if should keep her as a mother. Regardless I’ve taken 3 clones from my blooming girl that I can play around with. I’m curious when I could actually consider this girl being in bloom. Sure I’ve changed the lights to 12/12, does that instantly mean that she’s in bloom and I should assume since it has a 10 week harvest date it should be good to go around this time. She just finished up 48 hours of darkness and the growth that she has had in the darkness is really noticeable. I purchased some smaller mesh trellis netting and it seems to be about the perfect size for this plant. Last week I installed a drip watering system. The plant has really seemed to like this, I think I’ll continue to use this even though it was only really bought to be used while on vacation. I’m not sure if I’m over watering it, but since she’s not droopy or anything I’m just going to keep it as is. Right now it waters 2 times a day for 1 minute at a time. The pump is only a 50lph pump, so it doesn’t seem to be over watering. I really look forward to the next month with this girl, she should really take off. Hopefully this time around I can have a larger yield.
