Week 8 / Flower Week 2 The middle plant is clearly shorter than the other two, but after measuring PPFD this turned out to be no issue. Plant heights were left 59 / middle 40 / right 55 cm with lamp distances of 32 / 55 / 34 cm. The strongest light is in the center, and despite the height differences the average light distribution is very even. PPFD averages were around left ~400 / middle ~415 / right ~380, and after I raised 2 levels up to ~500 / ~525 / ~545 µmol/m²/s Stretch is slowing down and the plants are clearly moving into early flower. During the week I removed yellow and dead leaves and started lollipopping. The lower third was cleaned up and the left plant was lollipopped a bit more. The other plants will be cleaned up further over the next days I think, step by step. I also raised the middle plant slightly at one point to get it closer to the light and improve airflow, which helped after cleaning up the lower part. Watering and feeding followed the HESI schedule. The plants were watered three times this week: At the start of the week, about 10 L with nutrients. Mid-week, roughly 7 L of pH-adjusted water only. On the day of writing this report, end of the week, they were watered again with nutrients at half strength .pH around 6.0-6.5. Yellow sticky traps were added as a preventive measure. Overall I’m happy with how this week went. Everything feels well set up and I’m curious to see how the left plant responds to the more intense lollipopping, since this is the first time I’ve gone this far. I also want to dig deeper into the HESI feeding schedule, I think there’s some room to improve. Thanks for reading, if you made it this far. See you next week 🤘🏼💚

Info: Unfortunately, I had to find out that my account is used for fake pages in social media. I am only active here on growdiaries. I am not on facebook instagram twitter etc All accounts except this one are fake. Flowering day 1 since time change to 12/12 h. Hi guys :-) . The time has finally come 👍 You have been switched to 12/12 hrs and are ready to flower. Of course, cuttings were cut beforehand to keep the genetics. For 4 days now she has also been getting Fast Buds from GreenBuzzLiquids. They were also sprayed again with GBL Fast Plant spray. She is very healthy and I am excited to see how she gets going again in bloom :-). This week it was poured twice with 1.2 l each time (for nutrients, see nutrient table above). Then I filled canisters with fresh osmosis water for the next few weeks 👍. The tent was cleaned and every plant was checked for health. At the moment I am tinkering with the ventilation because there are currently 4 fans with 4 activated carbon filters running, which I want to make more efficient by putting a hose through 2 tents. These are the things about which you desperately at the beginning but learned from them in the end. I wish you all a nice week. expanded the pot patch to include some companion planting and cover crop this year. Added 2 yards of grow max composted soil mix from the local garden centre. now 18" deep and I will be adding some leaf mould, myco and a super microbe tea to kickstart things. ************UPDATE************* due to the shit weather in Canada this year I have decided to NOT plant an outdoor crop this year, due to late season start and big el nino which means lower than norm temps and lots of rain for us which = issues growing.

Greetings, fellow cultivators! We've officially crossed into the much-anticipated flowering stage with our beloved Cherry Cola Auto, and let me tell you, it's nothing short of a horticultural fiesta! The transformation over the past week has been nothing short of magical, with our once lush bush evolving into a budding beauty. Last week was a game-changer as I bid farewell to the training supports that have guided our Cherry Cola through her bushy phase. Now, she's free to express herself, growing wild and embracing her natural beauty. The transition from veg to flower has been seamless, and I'm witnessing a symphony of bud formation that's simply breathtaking. One of the marvels of autoflowers is their ability to veg and preflower simultaneously. It's like witnessing two acts of a play at the same time – the plant is reaching for the stars while also gearing up for the grand flowering spectacle. Cherry Cola's growth rate is nothing short of impressive, and I find myself in awe of this dynamic phase. With the shift into flowering, I've made some adjustments to our nutrient regimen. The Start Booster has gracefully bowed out, making way for two new players on the stage – P-Boost and Topbooster. P-Boost, a phosphorus booster, is a soluble wonder that not only enhances blooming but also contributes to improved water pH. It's like giving our Cherry Cola a backstage pass to a nutrient orchestra. Meet the New Stars: P-Boost and Topbooster: P-Boost, with its organic acids and phosphorus punch, is playing a vital role in stimulating protein, hormone, and vitamin production. It's a symphony conductor orchestrating the blooming processes. Meanwhile, Topbooster, the dynamic duo partner, is enhancing the flowering response, producing larger fruits with more fibers, resins, and sugars. It's like a magical potion for quality and flavor enhancement. Oh, did I mention that our Cherry Cola looks perfect to my eyes? She's a vision of green excellence, and I'm captivated by the flawless symmetry of her growth. Every day, she inches taller, embracing the flower formation with grace and poise. As we wrap up this Week 1 Flower report, I'm left in amazing of the beauty unfolding before us. Cherry Cola Auto, with her wild growth and budding allure, is a testament to the marvels of cultivation. Stay tuned, green enthusiasts, for the next thrilling installment as the floral overture continues! Week 1 of the latest cycle and starting out with some new hardware and an expanded grow print👍. We’re running 4 autos via a recirculating Dutch bucket system. First time on a dutchy so it’s gonna be interesting to see how it stacks up against DWC. I’ll give a full rundown on the system I’ve cobbled together on the next update. So far - all seedlings have germ’d without issue using the standard p-towel method. Why more people don’t use this method on GD is beyond me. It’s so reliable that some breeders even warranty your seeds if you use this method and more than 1 seed fails to crack. We’ve got little sprouts coming up now and it’s all just waiting for those first couple fan leaves to come out and those roots to run to the bottom of each bucket. They’ve been placed in root riot cubes (essentially a version of rapid rooters) like most of our runs and I’d recommend their use with all autos. Time and stress on young autos is key so they need the absolute best start you can give them👌. End of week update - looks like we got 4 quality little seedlings here👍. Alls good other than battling a ph issue for most of the week. Keeps spiking overnight for no real reason - hopefully it’ll even out and isn’t the early sign of a major problem🤞. Background The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Website link here: https://www.mars-hydro.com/grow-tent/buy-mars-hydro-grow-tent-24x48x70-2-x-4-cabinet-closet-grow-box-upgraded-diamond-1680d-mylar-for-sale ViparSpectra 240w Quantum Board: This thing is sleek and slick in terms of design. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making thier way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

Week 9 Day 60 Hmm really dissapointed in my self this time. Blue Dream looking great ,Cinderella Jack and Purple Punch too. But then comes Trainwreck and Lemon Kix with Orange Sherbet. Buds didnt Fat up till now and they already starting to get those brown pistils. Lemon kix is Full with trichomes but looking like she gonna foxtail. I backed up the light a bit . Orange Sherbet looking better after just pH water and some Batguano - i love this stuff. Smell is also amazing, fruity with cream hints like my last one. Trainwreck looking overall good but also the buds didnt fatten up like it should be. I can just wait now 😑 Day 63 Orange Sherbet gonna be the First one to harvest Batguano did her really good.

December 7th. 68 days post flip Chopped the two remaining purple marmalades today. They still had some white pistals but the Trichomes do not lie. I am really happy with them and they smell amazing. They will dry at 65 degrees and 58% humidity for 10 days and than go into grove bags. Will drop an update on their differences before they go into cure. Will give them an early smoke test. Number 2 smells the most but number 3 is the frostier of the two. The two clones also continue on healthy. I’ll know when I test these girls if I’ll be making use of these clones. Harvest week coming soon As always guys thank you so much for following along and god bless !

Week 8: Having some issues with my lower leaves at the moment , but the rest of the plant is really good. We are also being hit by a big heat wave in here , temps outside reaching 40C, but I’m managing it well for now. I will probably have big issues when the drying comes - open to ideas 💡
