🗓️ WEEK 8 (flo) - HARVEST WEEK (56° FLO) 💧 Midway through this final week of flowering, I performed a complete DWC reservoir change. I replaced the nutrient solution with plain tap water, EC 0.4 - pH 5.8. This flushing solution was maintained for 4 days, right up until the moment of harvest. 🌱 On the 56° day of flowering (day 84 from the dry seed), the plant appeared perfectly ready for harvest. The buds are dense and glistening with resin, nearly all pistils have browned and retracted, and the trichomes show a beautiful mix of milky and enough amber. Immediately after chopping her down, I removed all the large fan leaves and I've decided to dry these too as they are remarkably full of resin. ✅ DRYING PHASE The entire plant was hung to dry inside the grow box, which was kept completely dark with constant, gentle air circulation for 8 days. The average VPD during this period was maintained around 1.2 (approximately 20°C and 50% RH). Once this drying period was complete, I trimmed off all the sugar leaves. These resinous sugar leaves will be combined with the already dried fan leaves and larf buds, and I plan to use them to make cannabutter for edibles. ⚖️ DRY WEIGHT After the 8-day drying period, and once all the remaining small leaves and branches were removed from the buds, I weighed the final product: The harvest yielded: - 150 grams of dense buds. - 5 grams of finger hash collected during handling. For edibles: - 30 grams of larf. - A large amount of fan and sugar leaves. ⚠️ In the next coming days I'll update the harvest week with info about curing stage and a smoke review.

Here we are day 55 for our Wurlz F1 Hybrid. I would immediately like to say, do you notice anything by any chance? I said day 55 and we're pretty much ready. The leaves are turning yellow regularly, I have removed the fertilizers, the pistils are ripe, the resin is out, there are all the signs for a harvest which should take place towards the end of next week. The plants were born on April 6th, I repeat on April 6th for those who cannot grasp the concept. Most certainly Watermelon Candy and Wurlz will be harvested around June 6th, guys...8 weeks...not even 9 or at most nine weeks. If you're good at math, you do it otherwise I'll lend you some fingers. For topping lovers it means that if you want to do topping on autoflowering plants they won't finish in biblical times, according to my calculations even doing topping shouldn't go beyond three months, like an autoflowering from the previous generation. Why am I talking about the previous generation? Because these have certainly moved forward with speed, I have seen them grow and above all swell the flowers like I have never seen them do. As for the rest of the resin and pistils, everything is really in place. I want to do a terpene inspection soon and evaluate the ripeness for the harvest. Última semana de floración de estas candy caramelo y es que vaya flores son como rocas muy compactas kio, de lo mejor que e visto también en mucho tiempo fumetillas. Plantas pequeñas con un buen porte y un buen grosor de tallo, son bastante rápidas a la hora de florecer, os aseguro que las aguantaba una semana más pero por temas de virus y tal decido cortarlas ya que también están bien bastante contento en verdad con esta varieddd. Mantuve ph hasta el final controlando humedad y temperatura pocas veces desvarío el asunto. Muy muy contento zambeza hizo un fast bastante curiosa con olores dulces .

New Aeroponics "root rain" mist cloner! Holds 2 gallons of water. I added 8 Tsp of CloneX clone/seedling nutrient. PH was 6.0-6.5ish, good enough! These clones inside got zapped pretty hard one day, because I forgot to plug in the water pump one time after playing with it hehehe... Some didn't make it, but most survived! every other plant was watered with just de-chlorinated tap water, for re-hydration. #4 has been selected as the winning pheno! The mother plant had her home upgraded to a 2gal pot. The root ball was not so bound, due to her receiving a root-prune not too long ago, she was re-potted back into a solo cup. I pruned the bottom of the root mass off with a light pinch, and potted her into her new 2gallon home!

May 31st Everything is looking good after the LST from last week, I said I was going to swap them into flower and I realized that I should wait another week or so as they will be going into a new home so to speak. Updates coming next week for that. Doesn't look like to many PH issues anymore or whatever was happening but the plants seem a bit happier now June 1st I Figured today would be a good day to do a bit of defoliation on these girls in order to get some more light down to the newer growth. I didn't take a ton off as you can see, but for the size of the plant I suppose it was a decent amount. I read somewhere that a general rule of thumb is only defoliate roughly 30% of the plant at most. I'm not to sure if it is true but I tried to stay within that general rule. June 2nd, I decided since I would have them in veg for at least a little while long I would top them again. After topping I gave them some water and nutrients. I know I said I would do straight water for the next one but I went for it anyways as it seems the flowering mixture may be giving it some deficiency's. So I gave them the recommended feeding for heavy veg growth. I gave about 3L to the bigger plant and around 2L to the smaller plant (as it was still a bit moist but it wasn't damp). My crappy soil tester was saying my soil was at around 8PH so I figured I would aim to feed around 6ph. With the small amount of runoff from the smaller plant I did A PH test and the PH seemed to be around the 4.5-5ph area. My liquid ph meter arrived broken so I am waiting for the new one, therefore I am using the general hydroponics liquid test kit. I presume my soil ph is lower then the water I have given seeing as it went from 6ph water to around 4.5. Next feeding I will aim to feed at 7PH. With the defoliation I just made sure that the tie downs were decently tight still and moved what I thought needed to be moved. June 3rd,4th Not a ton to update on. I didn't get any pictures for these 2 days. June 5th Some obvious problems going on with the bigger plant. I am guessing it is the PH issue but I am still unsure. The one browned leaf I accidentally squished in the tie down while I was low stress training it so it got a bit damaged. Other then that the plants are growing decent. Im not sure why I didn't have more pictures for today but I mainly took problems of the problem areas. June 6th Not much going on still. They are still just hanging out not doing to much. It was a busy work week so pictures in general were a bit lazy. I will try to get more for the upcoming weeks. Big news for next week!

The pot size will be 2 Gal each for 12Gal total medium in a 2x4 tent under a potentinla maxium of 480W via the 2x Medic Grow Mini Sun 2's LED Lights. Germination methyod will be the same, soaking seeds in water then into the final pots medium. They will be getting a 18/6 light scheulde from start to finish and a PH of between 6.2-6.5 for the entire grow. I will be useing some root incolulents to help the plants form a strong and healty realnship with the medium. From what I can tell this should go smoothly without many issues. I have a few good friedns on here who only grow in hydro so if I run into any issues I am going to hit them up and learn some new things. Good Luck to all the brands competeing. 1/10 Week 9! Tara is just turning into a beast at over 3 foot she is taking over and the light is 5 inches from max height... hello super-cropping if I cant bend and secure the tall ones down some. Giving Tara as much room as possible and alternating between Cal-Mag and Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom salt) foliar feeds just to cover the bases as the rapid growth seems to be causing slight def. Defoliated both plants a good bit today, Ripley more so than Tara as that is just the leafiest dam plant. Upping feed to the high end see how they handle it, shifting feeds to mornings rather than lights on in evenings for my convenience. So they will get two feeds rather close together to make the adjustment. Since the next two grows are photos and the light schedule will be "on" at 6AM this is what needs doing. 1/14 New pics Defol Ripley further, never seen so many leaves. Only two plants in tent so lots of room for Tara which really needs to stop stretching NOW. 😅 1/15 Pic Bend and secure on highest branches on Tara lowered her about 3" so dropped lights 2" could not justify super-cropping in flower. I opened the converted wardrobe door and the first colour I thought of was Orange sovI knew it was time. I did a lot of experimenting throughout the grow, trying to find my own technique and this girl has been a great help. Its my biggest haul to date ooking at it altough I can't weigh it without seriously messing around so l just weigh when dry.

The girls are starting to get really heavy, we may be forced to cage the rest for support, we couldn't move them much this week for fear of them collapsing..not recognizing or stopping the runaway stretch soon enough has come back to bite us..lesson learned about this strain.. the canopy is terribly uneven lol, we're just kinda letting them do their own thing at this point, we did drop 1 of 2 lights to accommodate the shortest of the group. The Blappleberry Haze is producing more and more thick buds that are now taking on a beautiful purple color. The smell is still very, very fruity and the trichomes look like I could harvest the plant within the next 2 weeks. I will check the trichomes again before the next watering, if they are almost ready, I will only give it water and then no water for a week.

The little plant have recovered pretty well as far as I can tell... They still look a bit wrecked but this is due what they have lived through I think... Hope they have a better time ahead :) UPDATE: one of the plants seems to have fallen (eg autobended herself) to the ground but is still looking good to me... I just let her be and see what happens :)

The High intensity was to strong (clearly my fault) in the beginning which stunted her overall stretch, she however still delivered super dense, terpene and trichome loaded buds.

Ciao ragazzi e bentoranti per i nuovi aggiornamenti!!!😉 Purtroppo ragazzi questa settimana non è stata delle migliori per i parametri. In Italia il caldo inizia a farsi sentire e nel box si sono raggiunte temperature di 30°C e l umidità è salita al 70% anche bagnando al minimo loro. Però nel complesso tutto bene, le ragazze al limone crescono imperterrite e la numero 2 adesso misura 35 cm. La numero 1 se non l avessi piegata sarebbe stata almeno 45 cm. Una bomba!💣 Anche la numero 3 sembra che si stia riprendendo bene.👍 Avendo cambiato zona di crescita non avevo calcolato il cambio di ph dell acqua del rubinetto e il fatto che non usi prodotti con un regolatore di ph incorporato mi ha tratto in inganno.🤦‍♂️ Ho misurato il Ph dell acqua dopo averla fertilizzata ed era di 7.7 così ho introdotto 0.25 ml di Ph Down e l ho portato a 6.27. Ora dovrebbe assorbire i Super nutrienti che gli stando alla grandissima!!!💪 Eh niente ragazzi! Speriamo che le temperature si abbassino di un paio di gradi anche per noi perché si muore e sembra solo l inizio.
