It's been a busy week : 👉 I defoliated the plant by removing 8- 10 very big fan leaves, to allow more sunlight to reach the lower branches 👉 I took 2 cutting of my plant(s) 👉 I removed the six lowest branches and used the lower branches to make cuttings 👉 I started the light deprivation technique by moving the plants to my darkroom to force flowering. 👉👉👉👉Every morning at 8:30 am I move the plants in the greenhouse. 👉👉👉👉Every evening at 8:30 pm I move the plants inside the darkroom. 👉 Once a week I give the plants a liquid booster with OPF 4:2:8 ; Fulvic 25 ; Yuccah ; Biovin liquid ; Earthworm compost extract. Day 5 since time change to 12/12. Hey everyone ☺️. Finally the time has come :-) The lady moved into the flower tent on January 6th, 2021 😁. The day before, of course, a cutting was taken 👍. In the flowering tent, the distance between the plant and the lamp is 40 cm so that she can get used to the strength of the lamp. After 3-5 days I go down to 30 cm. This week it was watered twice with 1 l per plant. GHSC enhancers were added to one wash :-). Flower fertilizer will only be added in 12-16 days as soon as the first blossoms are there :-). Otherwise the tent was completely cleaned and the humidifier refilled. For the next few days I have filled fresh osmosis water in canisters again :-). Next week I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up going into small popcorn buds 😉. Week 25 overall, corresponding to week 3 of flowering for the Pineapple Upside Down. Flowering has now clearly declared itself. Bud sites are visible everywhere, with consistent pom-pom formation across the canopy. Despite being at a relatively early stage of bloom, terpene expression is already strong. Upon opening the tent, a distinct pineapple aroma is noticeable, which is very encouraging for such an early phase. Vegetatively, the plant will not recover its original leaf coloration. This is accepted at this point. However, flower development appears to be on track, and the plant is allocating energy toward reproductive growth rather than foliage recovery. A light defoliation was performed, along with the removal of lower, non-productive flower sites. This cleanup aims to avoid wasting energy on underdeveloped buds and to focus resources on the upper canopy. A fresh flowering nutrient solution was prepared. PK has been introduced lightly, in accordance with the Athena feeding schedule for week 3 of flowering. Electrical conductivity is set around 2.1 EC, with a target pH close to 6.0 to ensure stable nutrient uptake. Light intensity will be increased progressively, with PPFD moving toward approximately 600 to support proper bud development and flower density. Although the foliage remains visually poor, flower formation, structure, and aroma remain the key indicators at this stage. Given the short flowering time of this cultivar (around 45 days), timing is critical, and the next weeks will be decisive. The focus going forward will be on stability, controlled feeding, and optimized light management to extract the best possible outcome from this cycle.

Flowering day 18 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) The ladies have recovered well from the cold thanks to the heating mat and have developed beautifully 👍. During the check today I saw that despite spraying neem oil 3 times, there are still a few trips :-( . Now I've ordered nematodes again specifically against trips for leaf and substrate. I will use that immediately 👍. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.3 l (nutrients see table above) Next week I will remove the lowermost shoots so that the energy goes into the upper buds. Fresh osmosis water was mixed with tap water and put into the 100 liter tank so that the water can stand and I'll have enough next week :-) Otherwise everything was cleaned. Day 43 : Watering with co2 tab / 5L. Also added food again because i think they need it. Increased ppm to 850. Maybe the next one will be pure water. Ventilation works all the time when lights are on. Temp and humi are stable and this is good for the girls. She has a lot of burns and i dont know why. Dont want to flush or something. I will let her take her way. Patience is the key always. Also removed some burned leaves from all ladies. She took 4cm in 3 days, so i guess stretching finished and start bud production. Edit (Day 47) : Watering with co2 tab every 5L. DsD drank pure water because of burns. She has lost a lot of leaves from bottom. I dont know what to do. I will keep watering her with pure water to see if burns stabilized.

I'm in love with the structure on this sugar cane. She takes training easily and has developed a beautiful canopy of tops without much effort. It's almost like she just knows what I want her to do. Day 35 is here. We are a week into flower and most the plants are just starting to hit that flowering stretch. I have been bending them down a little every couple days, but I need to focus on cleaning up some of the bottom branches so we can keep good air flow through the plants. Will work on that through this next week. I haven't done a water change, just been topping off the reservoir with fresh nutrients as they drink it up. Feeding half and half maxigro and maxibloom. Will cut out the maxigro in a couple weeks when I notice their stretch slowing down. I had a plant overflow this week because the drain line is getting full of roots. I noticed a couple roots have made their way into the reservoir already. I set a pump timer to 1 minute on and 20 minutes off so they can drain properly. I would like to make it through the grow without having to mess with the drains, but we will see what happens. I will make some modifications if needed. Other than that everything is running smooth and I hope we have some little pistils to show by next week. Thanks for stopping by ✌️

This is maybe the last week. Trichomes are milky but also clear, I’m still waiting for the amber. Even though I don’t want much amber. Maybe I will chop this weekend, I’ll decide in the next days. I fucked up a bit with the light. I see some foxtailing even though it’s not really concerning. I changed to the Athena fade to eliminate nitrogen. I’m expecting way more fade in the next days. 26/10:Im Struggling a little bit whit temps,i have to open some cms the tent,but if i do it,RH gonna decrease.im compensating by nebulizing and leaving a cup of water inside + humidifier. im preparing water whit nutrients for later. inorder to fix temp issue,before the night i changed setup whit a spudnik i hope i made the right choice. let's see what happen at 19:00! 27/10: increased ph from 5.5 to 6 and increased ppm from 500 to 600.

Harvest time for this ripe lady. She isn't as tall as most of my other plants, but her colas are huge, and dense and heavy. We've already sampled a test bud, and she's a heavy hitter with plenty of indica... next post will be the harvest post... stay tuned.
