At day 20 I switched to flowering and sent my light schedule to 12/12 hours of light/darkness, therefore this is the first week of flowering now. I know that these plants from seeds are still to immature to switch to flowering directly, but they will grow slower with 12/12 until they are old enough to flower. This should happen when they are appr. 4 weeks old from germination, then they will be mature enough to be able to flower. I do this, because the Growfor.Life-Closet is limited in its heigth and I want compact and short plants at the end, so i can keep a minimum distance to the LED-lights from SANlight, which are built into the closet. The minimum distance should be appr. 25 cm from the canopy. At Day 25 the biggest three plants (=Double Dutch from Serious Seeds and OG-Kush from Humboldt-Seeds) have grown so many leaves that they start to touch each other and condensed water is building up between them, the plants seem to sweat. This means I have to defoliate the plants again in order to get a better airflow and also to let the light penetrate deeper into the canopy. You can see a video-tutorial for defoliation I made on Day 25. The scissors I use in the video came WITH the closet, they have a special anti-sticky coating and work like a TREAT! During the defoliation I recognize that one sidebranch of a Double Dutch plant is TRIFOLIATE (see in pics!), this means each node grows three instead of two leaves and sidebranches out of it. That is a rare occurrence in cannabis and can be seen like finding a 4-leafed clover. Although this should mean good luck, I also realize more and more fungus gnats flying around and put some sticky yellow strips (=sticky traps for insects) inside the closet. The plants also seem to get a little bit lighter in their green color in general, therefore I decide to start adding nutrients (=PLAGRON-TERRA-BLOOM) to my waterings now. All in all the plants grow like hell (the biggest one is appr. 30 cm tall at the end of week4) and develop excellently...I LOVE THE EXPERIENCE WITH MY GROWFOR.LIFE-CLOSET until now!

Day 70!!!! Girl, she looks amazing, this week I removed some leaves to give her a lot of energy for the flowers:) the girl drinks every 2 days, next watering I will probably give her the last water with biobizz fertilizer, next week, I'm going on a short vacation (5 days) I will ask my friend to come and water her, but it will only be clean water 6.3ph:) probably when I get back, it will already be harvest week:).

these 2 girls have been a wonder an a half to grow. !! #2 is finishing alot faster than #1 but its about half way through flower and #2 has just taken off from the beginning rich thick colas with dense stinky purple nugs. #1 is a real tall with a few thick long colas really showing off her legs this one.🤙😁

This Ice cream cake #2 is a true beast. It grows like crazy. Pythium has nothing on her. Cuttings in a glass of water had roots in a week 😳 Let's see how she turns up in a couple of weeks. Aroma is lovely.

I had to top Cantaloupe haze and White widow as they were too close to the lights and I didn't want to loose any ppfd on my lowers. My GSC seems perfect for not topping. next time I would top those strains at least once. I have been flushing the CH and getting run off around 1200ppm which seems like the max she can take the others like it stronger so I have been flushing them every 2-3 days. CH is tough to keep happy but will continue to monitor. All plants are in week 4 of flower 12/12 from seed.

04.12.2025 After having finished the update last week I went to crop her. When touching her stem I could already notice that her stem is just hole inside. When cropping her she just split apart and first I was shocked. But she recovered well and her main bud is keeping growing strongly. Also I applied two more waterstones and I can notice a better health of the plant.

This is the final week, they are going to be chopped coming week. Already had some darkness and they are very very smelly. I am amazed at this strain's resilience. It had to deal with my noobishness with autos, heat, very hot soil and less PH buffering with my own super soil recipe (see the yellow image in the germination page) in the smaller bags. Still, they became huge and full of bud. Forbidden Runtz is an amazing strain. Very strong growth but also with most auto's I've grown: once the grow derails, it seldom recovers. But these do. I'm sure next grows I'm going to get even more out of them. Can't wait to try them again with what I've learned now. And you should all consider the SP-3000 as a growlight, look at my results! Productive week, finally raised the funds for a 1000w led and a new tent so I've moved my OG indoors to finish her off 👍🏻

The plants streched a lot this week! The flowering has started 😎 I made a last defoliation to give some light to the lower buds. I started to give some BioBloom. It's impressive how much these plants must drink, this is the first time I have to water every day! Weight was on point, really it was and i'm happy with it, going mostly into extracts so i can keep going with learning all about the ancestral rituals of making plant juice. Got the vaporisers from arizer on the way, so i'm smoking twice as many joints in anticipation. Used smart proteins at the start and half way through flowering.it definitely boosts terpene production and speeds up veg quite a bit, Harvest went pretty well, it was fun having the boys over for some scissoring . Everybody really enjoyed themselves but i probably should have been stricter with the hygene, would be great to be able to rent out lab space for the day to get that steril environment going you know? Rap music and lab coats ! Love testing out genetics thank you so much , next round incoming ! 🚀 So this grow clearly a very neat grow, kept right on top of things with VPD, always in the optimal ranges even if i had to manually tinker with the mister , the exhaust, the fans, the lights. Speaking of the lights i applied a "pumping technique" meaning moving the lights up a down : down going into flower, then up then down again towards the end of flower to trigger rippening. The smart proteins were used through out the grow meaning the veg went nuts, started smelling loud right out of seedling stage, then at flower stretch i think it does help give it a kick, mid flower though it makes the trichomes rippen quicker than the plant can put on biomass, meaning you get strong , ripe colas that come out a bit thin. Cut and harvested at 30% amber believe it or not, to me that's late but i couldnt believe it when i noticed the plant was ripe at 10 weeks so i let it go on a bit longer. wet trimmed and dried over 10 days, Jarred and cured for 2 months.

Good progress on her this week! Flowers plumping up. Pistils changing colour nicely. Still got a while to go yet.
