Hi Growmies, This grow was not about growing the biggest plant but a test on how Natural sunlight compares to artificial light. I can be clear on one thing: natural sunlight gives a better terp/trichomes development, at least within my setting. This is probably due to natural UV rays within sunlight which is harder to get in a tent. Also the cost of this grow was so cheap, that if I would sell 3 grams I would have my whole investment in this grow back. So cost wise an outside grow will always beat an inside grow, especially with the current energy rates where I live. So after the drying process we will do a quick taste test before jarring it up to cure. That will also be the time I weight my buds, wet weight is not important to me. Heya Growmies Week 6 flower is over, the smells are really starting to come through now, she's still killing off lower growth displaying symproms of a P deficiency, I even added some more PK 13/14, but her top buds are super healthy and getting thicker daily. who knows, hopefully giving her some more PK will help.

Let’s go!!! Today is day 52 from seed , and we are officially in bloom stage😍!!! Not much of a change for this bloom schedule, everything will stay the same but instead of 3 tsps of grow and 1 tsp of bloom , we just turn that around to 3tsp of Bloom and 1 tsp of veg an we are good to go!!! She's developing very fast and without any type of issues, there's not too much to say on the first days of life. I'm so excited about this indoor run. I'll be training this lady in not too long. she is ready to be harvested.. he questionable but I have been watching for the last couple of days finally went South so she had to be clipped for the good of the bunch👌✌️.. I'm generally not violent like that and I tried to give my plants a Fighting Chance..

She’s taking her sweet time now! I found a nanner and pulled it off, but I have to keep an eye out. You can see from the trichome shots that she is not ready yet... thinking maybe 1-2 more weeks—-hoping for sooner. Going to start a flush because of the leaf yellowing. Otherwise, she’s moving along! ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

We've made it to week 3! (10/12/20) I'm very happy with how the girls are going, they have definitely put in a HUGE amount of work over the past 7 days. Plants 3 & 8 are very similar(extremely fat leaves & extra bushy) Plants 1 & 5 are similar (smaller phenos reacting to nutes slightly differently) & Plants 2, 4, 6 & 7 seem to be a cross between the previously mentioned phenos(not too small and not too big/bushy & reacting to nutes fine) Feel free to compare Week 1, 2 & 3 to see the differences. Nutes are staying the same this week, although I will be spacing feedings out a little bit further(18 hours-ish), as well as feeding straight PH'd water once a fortnight. I am contemplating hooking my simple drip-to-waste irrigation system up, although the girls are pretty close to the medium still and the halos sit 5-10cm above the medium, meaning fan leaves would be drooping onto the wet halos, so I'll give it another week and see how they're doing :) Update 11/12/20 - day 22 The girls have beefed up quite a bit over the last 24 hours, I'm really looking forward to seeing a stretch soon :) No feeding today & will water plain ph'd water tomorrow. Update 12/12/20 - day 23 Gave the girls straight ph'd water today with little run off. Veg growth is really starting to boom now, looking forward to seeing where this grow goes! I'm gladly accepting any tips or tricks, as I'm still only a beginner to indoors. Update 13/12/20 - day 24 Girls are looking great today, not much to report. They didn't get a feed or watering today as the medium was still wet after a pure watering yesterday. Update 14/12/20 - day 25 There's been a big increase in growth over the past 24 hours. All the girls besides the 2 smaller phenos look 100% happy, the smaller ones have looked a little weird since day 1(Weird as in colour of the fan leaves look deficient of something, but I'm not sure what. The girls will be getting a full feeding today. There's still no signs of sex but they are feminised seeds. Update 15/12/20 - day 26 Girls are looking happy today. Temps are back to normal after a heat wave in my city(its only going to get hotter from here on out). No feeding/watering today, pots are heavy/wet enough. Started using iphone for photos now, my only lens for my DSLR is useless for most grow related photos. I will upgrade my lens before next grow. I received my new silenced fan today! I couldnt be any happier :) It is a silenced Sigilventus SE-A150J, which I have set-up with a brand new Can-lite carbon filter. I went from a rocket loud eBay fan to a completely silent inline EC fan :D I hope the girls like the silence! Update 16/12/20 - day 27 The girls are continuing to boom! and I'm over the moon about it :D I gave them a full feeding today. I have seen white pistils coming out of calyx's on most of the girls, so i'm hoping they start to flower soon. I'm having weird issues with my humidity, it seems to be fine at 40-50% for 70% of the day, but the remaing 30% of the day it goes up to 60-65%. Temps stay the same in the 5x5 tent, I have ducted air-con in the house which is on most of the day. Thanks for viewing! :)

18.5.25: I watered with 3ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. I added Per 6.5 litres; ♡ 1Tsp Sea K(elp) ♡ 1/2 Tsp Bud Explosion PK booster ♡ 7ml Trace PH: 6.4 PPM: 780 I added the PK booster this feeding, just to provide some phosphorus without risking an excess. Next time, I won't use it. 19.5.25. Northern lights had got quite bushy, and there were a lot of extra leaves covering up some prime budsites. So I went ahead and Defoliated some of the larger fan leaves that were covering and blocking out other buds. The plants are growing very fast. The buds are getting very nicely structured. Northern Lights is drinking about 3 l per day, and I will continue to use the Greenleaf nutrients sea kelp and Ecothrive Biosys, along with the Ecothrive trace For the calcium, magnesium and trace elements. She has indeed stopped stretching now and is focusing on the bud formations. It's a very lovely smell, too! 😋 I use these all the way through. ☆ Xpert Nutrients PH down, up to 1ml. ☆ Ecothrive Neutralise 1 drop per litre from the 1ml pipette, which is attached. This is my dechlorinator. 21.5.25: I defoliated today again. This time, I took a little more off than I did yesterday as things had become congested, and the buds in the centre weren't getting any light. I got covered in sticky...ness?! I forgot to wear gloves, but for some reason, my non dominant hand got covered in resin and the other, not at all. Anyway, I hope I've managed to include the before defoliation and after videos/photos. I think it's much better after, there's so many buds I couldn't even see in the centre! I probably should have done it sooner, but I was trying hard to take as little as possible this run. Anyway, this is the prime bud building period. So, taking the leaves covering all the centre colas will not only provide equal light penetration but also get rid of some of the nutrients stored in the leaves. So, any nutrients available in the remaining leaves can deplete to a happy medium. That being said, we're coming close to the end of mid flowering. I'm really hoping to produce some good sized colas! 🤞💚😉🍃😃🌱 I'm certain I won't be disappointed, she's looking 🔥😍😀😋 24.5.25: I watered with Ecothrive Biosys 3ltrs each. The plants are still drinking at least 2 litres per day. They are increasingly thirsty, and it's important that I don't let them dry out. The soil is mostly coco and perlite, so it can dry out quicker. There are plenty of worm castings, too, so that definitely helps. The buds are developing and progressing very nicely, keeping up with the flowering nutrients and alternating between Ecothrive Biosys, Trace, and Greenleaf Nutrients. 24.5.25: I watered with 2.5 ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 I added Per 6.5 litres; ♡ 1Tsp Sea K(elp) ♡ 1/2 Tsp Bud Explosion ♡ 7ml Trace PH: 6.3 PPM: 840 SOLUTION TEMP: 30°C SOIL PH: 7 SOIL TEMP: 21°C AMBIENT TEMPERATURE: 23-26°C RELATIVE HUMIDITY: 58%. Week 19, day 6. Second week after switching to 12/12 lighting. Nr 1 is 159 cm tall from top of soil. All video and pics is taken when the girl had 11.5 h of no lights and just got watered. The stretch on these girl after starting 12/12 light was not that much like my other plants. It have stretched about 25 cm the last 2 weeks after switching light schedule. So fare this has gone smooth as silk and no problems at all despite temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius for the last 45 days. I have manage the heat by having between 85-95 % of RH in the room all the time. Added picks and videos.

10/18/24 the pistils are coming in nice. im worried about the possible presence of mites and thrips though. will keep an eye on it

Extraction fan (AC infinity Cloudline T6) on level 2. DAY 13 - First full watering (10L) with 20 ml Canna Terra Vega DAY 14 - Circulation fan turned on (low) during lights on WEEK 3 Good growth, two Iced Out still lagging DAY 18 - Light at 225w, Extraction fan on level 3 during lights on DAY 20 - 2nd watering, 8L with 30ml Vega + Light at 250w DAY 21 - On point, mostly :) Could've pushed nutes a bit more from the go WEEK 4 DAY 24 - So far this week I'm just kicking back and watching them do their thing. The two lagging Iced Outs are trying to catch up. DAY 26 - Watering 10L with 50 ml Vega (one day too late...) + light on 300w (max) DAY 28 - 4 weeks from popping the seeds, looking good except for the two Iced Outs, one of them is trying to get with the program, the other... Well, some plants are just pricks.
