Impressive how this plant managed to grow despite the few hours of light .. I guess what it could do with a better season than this year (there has been a lot of rains) and in a place where it grows with constant light.. anyway I am very happy with her, I would also say proud of how the growth went. In the last few weeks, as you can see, the plant has suffered an attack by caterpillars that have eaten some of its leaves in a short time, the plant has remained very strong anyway. I tried to remove them manually until they disappeared completely Before proceeding with the cut, I put the plant in the dark for 48 hours, further stressing it by shocking the roots with ice cubes. I've never used these two methods, but I've heard a lot about them. some say it is useless while others say that these methods work to increase the production of trichomes and terpenes. 2/26 Week 9 /3 flower Update: After a meeting of the minds we have decided to give Chiana her own feed schedule as the FF7 just need other than the FF5. Dropping PK temporarily to 1ml/gal due to slightly too dark green leaves but upping CocoTek to 7 ml give her plenty of good stuff to work on. 2/28 HPS back online Height set slightly on the high side for both lights to better disperse the light pattern. Nuets continue to be the focus looking for her sweet spot. Leaves on this strain run dark green anyway so putting PK up slightly and monitoring. Last week the plants grew looking very healthy although I still have a feeling the low humidity is slowing their growth, by the end of the first week I started raising the EC to make the increasing for this week smoother, run-off EC is substantially increasing so I will start to fertigate them twice a day for this week.

Day 42. Huge disaster !!!! i stucked at my house on the lake for 7 days, normally i water them every 4-5. This girl got biggest damage, her leaves folded like stairs on the pot. leaves were brittle and dry as paper. Lost a lot of foliage. If i would need to recomend most forgiiving strain - thats the one, girl coped with all the shit i gave her ... Happy Growing !!!

Gelato plant is just an experiment at this point as that pheno went completely mad 😁 27.2. - Watered 💧 28.2. - I've cut down the Gelato plant. Unfortunately, it would not yield any decent buds. crazy week found drain gnats which explains the green hue of some of my plants the larve are attacking the roots raising the p.h. and the diffecencies are showing in the leaves being lighter and or brown dots on the leaves. using mosquito dunks and spraying neem oil washing the roots to help these ladies out. also im doing things different with the soil vs dwc, i havent done much if any defoliating with potted plants just letting them grow only mainlined once and since in flower very light if any defoliating. any questions comments information feel free to ask or inform im open to critque

This lady is such a beautiful bush full of heavy flowers, stinky as hell guys, very terpy, for all the sweet indica hybrids there you have authentic gold. Very sweet and the tops are absolutely wonderful, it's beautiful to see those fat nuggets. She's 100% organic and prebiotically grown using living soil FLO that contains a lot of different strains of mycorrizae and endomycorryzhae, a lot of beneficial bacteria, worm casting, and acid and humic and fulvic acids plus Silicium Flash by biotabs that contains npk 100% from natural sources like bug shit 🐛. My soil just bubbles every day that I water it, it's awesome to see the beautiful organic alive soil I've build. Loving the pure aromas man 🤩👃🍭🥧🍪

Week 4 of flower and it’s been a week for the books. The males gizzed all over the females and we spent the better part of a week harvesting the males for pollen, then defoliating and spraying the pollinated females, then going full sanitize on the entire tent… (that part always sucks). Either way, they’re off to the seed making and generally showing a brilliant, yet subtle pink across most phenos. Gonna be pretty cool seeing how the colours develop on these👌. The fact that the pinks are prevalent amongst all plants is very encouraging. Still early for sure - but… potential for something special👍. Terp. Profiles are becoming quite pronounced now too. So far, we’ve got one that smells of a very sweet sorta pine in female #3 and a definitive baked berrry scent in female #1. The hope was always to balance out the earthiness of the Kush which is classic to the strain in terms of taste, just not overly tasty. Again, still early but we might’ve achieved that here on crossing🤞👌. All told and as long as we keep ‘em alive to the finish - we should have tons of seed and a well defined set of partially drilled down traits. Counting 3 discernible potential phenos so far and can’t wait to see what the clones reveal🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Day 20 - she got 16oz of water pH balanced to 6.0~ on Day 16, Day 18, and Day 20. I topped the plant and then defoliated to leave the 3rd and 4th nodes. The 3rd node is being trained to grow laterally until it reaches the container walls. Once the 4th node matures more, it will also be trained just as node 3. The goal is to train and top one more time in veg to ensure maximum yields in this small 2x2x4 tent.
