Cash Express – Pheno A | Week 4 Full Steam Ahead Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure, where twelve cultivars are being documented individually from seed to harvest under a strict 12/12-from-seed schedule. Every phenotype follows its own diary, allowing each plant to reveal its unique personality while growing under exactly the same environment and feeding program. Another week has passed, and the room continues to transform at an incredible pace. What started as twelve tiny seedlings is rapidly becoming a forest filled with individual characters, each responding differently despite sharing identical conditions. That’s one of my favourite parts of this project—watching genetics tell their own stories. This week also reminded me that Mother Nature has a funny sense of humour. The environmental controller proudly displayed 33.3°C alongside 63% humidity. Apparently the grow room has decided that three is the lucky number this week. Despite the higher temperatures, the elevated humidity helped keep the plants comfortable, and growth across the room never missed a beat. Every day the canopy became denser, greener, and noticeably more alive. ⸻ Week 4 Environment 🌡️ Temperature: 33.3°C 💧 Relative Humidity: 63% 💡 PPFD: 700–800 µmol/m²/s 🌱 Medium: Plagron Lightmix ? Growing Method: 12/12 From Seed One interesting change this week wasn’t caused by the lights—it was caused by the plants themselves. Some phenotypes have entered a much stronger vertical growth phase, naturally moving closer to the fixtures. Those taller individuals are now receiving around 800 PPFD, while shorter plants remain closer to 700 PPFD. The light hasn’t changed. The plants have. Watching each phenotype respond differently under identical conditions continues to be one of the most fascinating parts of this entire project. ⸻ Feeding Strategy The nutrition program has continued to evolve alongside the increasing demands of the garden. During the establishment phase, irrigation remained around pH 5.8, creating ideal conditions for vigorous root development. As those root systems expanded throughout the containers, the nutrient solution gradually shifted toward pH 6.1, allowing access to a broader spectrum of available nutrients within the substrate. At the same time, nutrient concentration was increased progressively throughout the week, finishing around EC 1.8. Nothing dramatic. No aggressive jumps. Simply allowing the plants to dictate the pace rather than forcing one. Healthy roots create healthy plants, and the steady growth throughout the room suggests they’re very happy with the direction we’re taking. ⸻ Cash Express – Pheno A If this lady had a motto, it would probably be: “Catch me if you can.” From the beginning she’s shown an incredible desire to grow, and this week that enthusiasm became even more obvious. While several of the other phenotypes are still building compact structures, Pheno A has decided she’s in a hurry. She’s stretching confidently toward the light while simultaneously producing an impressive amount of lateral growth, creating a plant that feels both elegant and powerful. What has impressed me most isn’t simply her height. It’s how well she’s responding to every bit of training. Throughout the week I’ve continued gently tucking leaves and applying light stress training wherever needed to open the canopy. Rather than slowing down, she seems to reward every adjustment by pushing even more vigorous side branches toward the light. It’s exactly the kind of response every grower hopes for. Each newly exposed branch immediately begins reaching upward, gradually transforming the plant into a much more balanced structure with multiple future flowering sites. The internodal spacing remains very attractive—open enough to allow airflow and light penetration, yet close enough to promise dense flower development later on. Her main stem has thickened noticeably over the past week, giving her a sturdy backbone that’s clearly preparing for the stretch that’s still to come. The foliage is lush, healthy, and beautifully coloured, while the fresh lime-green growth emerging at every tip is a constant reminder of just how actively she’s developing. Looking at her now, it’s easy to understand why this cultivar carries the name Cash Express. She certainly isn’t wasting any time. Every day she seems determined to be just a little taller, a little fuller, and a little stronger than she was the day before. ⸻ Looking Ahead Week 5 should become even more exciting. With flowering now beginning to establish itself, I’m expecting the stretch to continue while the first real flower formation starts becoming visible throughout the canopy. July 12, 28 days since flip Clones: So far all 3 remaining clones are growing well. Buds are really starting to form and getting a ton of pistals forming. Plants grew a little bit in the last week. Ended up doing another aggressive round of super cropping to keep them from burning up. Some of the colas are above the light so may add supplemental lighting but honestly so many bud sites I’m not concerned about getting a large enough sample. Began to notice some lower leaves dying and some spots on some upper leaves so top dressed both earth boxes with some craft blend, cow cal 24, big 6, some potassium and some epsom salts. Should make her nice and happy again. At this point going to flower for a few months and drop individual updates as the plants stand out Mothers and father: Didn’t end up topping like I said I was going to last week so going to top this week. Just trying to stunt them a bit so they don’t get too large. No major updates other than this God bless!

Tent is filling up nicely now, they are looking perfect not a sign of stress or deficiencies. Will do some more training and leaf tucking in the next couple of days. 19/7 Done I light defoliation and leaf tucking and a bit of moving around to fill the canopy as much as possible. They are looking super healthy considering that I'm only watering with molasses added. 27/7 looking lovely now starting to flower profusely now. And the smell is really amping up.

Watching this plant grow has been really fun and taught me a lot about taking care of a plant and what to watch out for. Can't wait to see what i can do on my next grow already!

Very terpy smell, strong and very citric like a pure lemon, very lemony smell basically, nothing crazy but it's very nice, she's producing a lot of resin, you can see she's a good autoflower, not the bets I've grown but it's nice to have something to Harvey's fast. 100% organic grown

3 ml npk in 2 l water And given half of it! Plant seems to like it And pruning worked wonder! Leaves are healthy and getting much bigger in size! 15 cms+ excited!!

The ladies were flushed on the 68th and will be flushed again on the 71st. Analyzing the resin with a magnifying glass, I think we will not have a harvest before the 75th. B3 this blooming I think she will be looked after with more than 80 or 83 days.

Moin, Blütewoche 4 ist fast durch und die Temperatur stieg diese Woche auf über 30 % und die relative Luftfeuchtigkeit befindet sich zum Teil leider auch jenseits von gut und böse in der Spitze waren es 75 % und ich würde erinnert warum viele eine Sommerpause machen, solange wollte ich aber nicht auf neue frische Blüte warten. Unerwartet hat sich White Sweet Candy OG nochmal etwas gestreckt und mit Glück sind noch 15 cm bis zur LED. Ich habe daher den Drainmaster um 5 cm nach unten gestellt und konnte ggf. nochmal 5 cm tiefer gehen, sollte ich im Laufe der Zeit Anzeichen von Lichtstress sehen wird das auch gemacht, bisher steckt die WSCOG die Höhe Lichtintensität bei den Mainbuds aber wirklich gut weg, was den Gesamteindruck einer wirklich sehr robusten Sorte weiter bestärkt. Seit Anfang der Woche bilden sich neben den weißen Härchen auch die ersten Trichome auf den Blüten und Sugarleaf, natürlich musste ich auch schon eine erste Riechprob an den Trichomen machen. Bisher konnte ich in diesem noch recht frühen Stadium noch keine süße Note wahrnehmen, dafür einen kiefernartigen Geruch, der in den letzten Tag von einer zitronigen Note begleitet wird, ich denke einen kommenden Wochen wird sich dort noch einiges tuen und die ersten Ansätze sind auch sehr viel versprechend. Die Blätter erstrahlen in einem wirklich sehr schönen frischen Grün, Mängel oder Anzeichen für Stress kann ich keine erkennen und die automatische Bewässerung sorgt zur Zeit 3 mal pro Tag für frische Nährstoffe im Coco Medium, bisher ist dieser Grow ein wirklich sehr entspanntes Anliegen und ich denke das wird sich auch nicht weiter ändern, außer die Temperaturen und die damit verbundene hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit machen wir einen Strich dufh die Rechnung, da würde es mich wirklich interessieren ob diese Sorte resistent gegen Botrytis ist oder eher anfällig. Vielleicht muss ich nochmal aktiv werden und mir einen Luftentfeuchter holen. Hey, Flowering week 4 is almost over, and temperatures climbed above 30°C this week. Unfortunately, relative humidity has also been far from ideal at times, peaking at around 75%. It definitely reminded me why so many growers take a summer break. However, I wasn't willing to wait that long for a fresh flowering run. Unexpectedly, the White Sweet Candy OG stretched a bit more, and with some luck there's still about 15 cm left between the canopy and the LED. Because of that, I lowered the Drainmaster by 5 cm and could potentially gain another 5 cm if needed. Should I notice any signs of light stress over time, I'll definitely make that adjustment. So far, the WSCOG is handling the light intensity at the main buds exceptionally well, which further reinforces my impression that this is a very robust strain. Since the beginning of the week, the flowers and sugar leaves have started producing their first trichomes alongside the white pistils. Naturally, I couldn't resist doing an early smell test on the trichomes. At this still relatively early stage, I haven't noticed any sweet notes yet. Instead, there's a pine-like aroma that has recently been accompanied by a citrusy note over the last few days. I think the coming weeks will bring quite a few changes in that regard, but the first impressions are already very promising. The leaves are showing a beautiful, vibrant green color. I can't see any deficiencies or signs of stress, and the automatic irrigation system is currently supplying fresh nutrients to the coco medium three times a day. So far, this grow has been a very relaxed and enjoyable experience, and I don't expect that to change. The only concern is the high temperatures and the resulting humidity, which could still throw a wrench into the works. I'd be very interested to know whether this strain is resistant to botrytis or tends to be susceptible to it. I may have to take action and get a dehumidifier after all.

This girl is coming along really nicely I'm really pleased with how she had turned out for my first ever grow. I have noticed this week she is starting to get a lot more of purple colour to her stem and branches she looks amazing. Her buds are are looking really frosty and are nicely dense I can't wait to try them! This week I have started the full flush by doing a full reservoir change to just water at ph 6.2 - 6.5 and will continue to add just water untill harvest. Happy growing 🌱

Vamos familia, actualizamos la cuarta semana de floración de estas Black Rainbow de Seedstockers, salieron las 3 de 3, 100% ratio éxito. Aplicamos varios productos de Agrobeta, que son increíbles para aportar una buena alimentación a las plantas. Temperatura y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos dentro de la etapa de floración. La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar. De 3 ejemplares seleccioné los 2 mejores para completar el indoor y trasplanté directamente a macetas de 7 litros, cambien el fotoperiodo a 12/12 y aplique una buena poda de ramas bajas, se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color y progresan a muy buen ritmo por el momento, están cogiendo ya una tricomada seria. Well i will just be hoping that these girls will be quality with the audio frequency. I know from the first place that my lamp to light distance when veg state it was too high i noticed it after 6 weeks. And forgot again cause im stupid and flipped it on 7th week. 😪 mistakes mistakes. Mdfckr me😩😩😩 wish they are 1 hit kill 😂

Buds evolving greatly , put in first P/K boost this week Buds are full of resin, real frosty, must be from UVA...last grow with same strain had much less resin at the same time and same conditions First signs of leafburn due to UVA, but only on 1 leaf so far...will keep the 5h / day

Started with four now with three one of them was a male so I had to cut it, sadly it was one of my most lush plants. Now one of the ladies is experiencing some sort of deficiency im not sure what it is. At first I thought it was some kind of mite damage but after over looking the whole plant up and down with a magnification lense I saw nothing of the sorts.
