Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. @FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. This week was a big week for the candy cush. I noticed upon watering her to run off, that in the same day the pot would go super dry and light weight. I also noticed stress in the leaves and roots poking out the bottom of the pot. It was time for a transplant. So far so good! Upon transplanting i performed more LST to help her fill in the pot. She went from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon. She was also defoliated thia week.

Seeing pistols today on 28 so I had to get photos! These girls are looking great. I have cut back on watering and they're looking much better imo. A few burnt tips but I'm not too worried. My ph was almost 7 a week ago so I go a ph pen for my water and did some watering at 6ph and now going with 6.3 to slowly bring her down. These girls are looking super bushy, green, and hardy imo and they're more appealing to me than the Orginal Afghan Kush Auto from Fastbuds grown side by side. after only 10 1/2 weeks, ready for harvesting 👌 they could have matured for another 1 or 2 weeks but I would like to have a high effect here as well, my insides ones will give me the stone. result for the 3 girls in 3 litre pots: 153g wet. Dry result in 10 days, and surely a first impatient smoke test 😏 Even if they didn't suffer from pest attacks, it was impossible to avoid the little ones and their eggs from sticking to the leaves and buds; I did a buds washing to get rid of them.

Bottomed the plants on day 22 Over three weeks into flower and they’re still stretching but starting to slow down nice pistils forming I like the way she is stacking up

Perfect strain to grow, easy, fast and sweet as sugar totally covered in trichomes. The plants showed a very equaled and stable genetics and are very generous with a little care, this strain is almost like walking directly into a dutch candy shop with all kind of winegum smells, simply perfect.

The branching beast is doing well, but it's time again to bring her in a good shape. Also I'll set the LST new cause of the fast growing one of the branches started splitting up. So see ya next week when I maybe repot her in a bigger pot and cleaned her up!

Last week I think. Nice amount of cloudy trichomes next week should show enough Amber to please me. Waiting game now. At least plant 1 is now smokeable. Starting to focus on the next now and letting these do their thing.

I'm so late 😩 life been taking over tho. So weather played a huge factor here. Weird storm happened shut power off for a couple days and got the temperature super low in my grow closet. So the deficiencies came in with the vengeance! Didnt notice it right away so I just continued watering at 6.5ph then thats when I started to notice the leaves on the lemo pie curling up. But I thought it was just the light so I moved it from right under it but it just got worse. I procrastinated longer confused on what it was going to do.🤦‍♂️🏿 didn't look good So I made a seabird guano,worm casting,alpha meal tea, breed it for 48hrs and used it about 5days ago. If somebody! anybody! Could let me know if ots a wrap for her or she might be ok? I would really appreciate it.
