Cruise control for the OG Kush. Heading into the final weeks, so I'll be removing odd fan leaves here and there and giving her one last light top dressing. She's drinking water daily now and trichome production is finally ramping up.

📆 Semana 6 La Slapz ha empezado a sacar su carácter esta semana. Los cogollos se están formando con mucha fuerza y empiezan a tener ese aspecto compacto y agresivo tan típico de esta genética. La resina va cubriendo con rapidez las flores y las hojas cercanas, dándole un look pegajoso y potente. En cuanto a la nutrición, sigo con XpertNutrients y el añadido de Sticky Fingers, que ya se está notando claramente: los tricomas están explotando y el perfil aromático empieza a intensificarse, con ese fondo gaseoso y dulce que caracteriza a esta variedad. Los Adlite siguen haciendo su trabajo impecablemente, y se nota sobre todo en cómo la Slapz está sacando cogollos consistentes hasta en zonas más bajas, aprovechando toda la estructura. El entorno se mantiene estable, con temperaturas entre 22 y 25 °C y una humedad del 55%, controlada gracias a una buena circulación de aire. De momento, ningún síntoma de estrés o problema relacionado con hongos. Aromáticamente, empieza a destacar por esa mezcla entre lo funky y lo afrutado, con un golpe potente que se anticipa a lo que puede venir en las próximas semanas. Una planta que promete pegar fuerte, como su nombre indica. ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Wow, I had so much fun growing this. I wasn't even going to grow this at first. I planted it alongside 2 11l pots and a 20l and knew I'd run out if space but thought I'd put this 5l in the tent and experiment, but it's been my favourite so kept it. I never had much experience, tried one outdoor grow last year that flopped a bit so invested in an indoor set up and I'm happy I did, it's been worth it and can't wait to get started again. I took a real laid back approach, no nutrients, little LST and just let it do it's thing. Had some issues at first with stretching and then adjusted too much and it started bending. But it recovered well and just so excited for my real first harvest. Can't wait to try it.

No complains growth is out the window and buds size growth is kick'n the door.....let's see how the gym pays off 💪

First week of flowering. Girls are super happy. And drink a lot. I very much prefer the lower plant count with 8 plants. And I’m probably not going to go back to more than 9 plants. Perhaps will even try 6 or 7. 12 or 16 was a bit of overkill. Maybe with super short veg it has its place. 26.01 first day of flower.

Removed the garden staples from the 2 cultivar that have reached preflower and replaced the staples with bamboo steaks to maximize light penetration to all bud sites and did a light defoliation ✌️

Je vous suggère de ne pas reproduire mon dosage pour les nutriments(+serait mieux) et ma fréquences d'arrosage(moins d'eau et + souvent serait mieux). Plants are looking good so far, added about 2ml/gal to the reservoir this week and plants responded well. They are all keeping short and stocky so far and should be able to start LST training in a few days I think. I also turned up the light to 750w and the air temps are now hovering between 24c-25c. Water temps are creeping up though in the 21c range, gonna wrap the buckets tonight in foil insulation and build a water cooler for this setup soon as well. Had some Ph issues during week 4 because my pen decided to go wonky. I tried to calibrate it again and had a hard time. So I busted out an older one and decided to calibrate it and see if it worked still... calibrated in a few min and sure enough res ph was well bellow 5. So water was changed as it was time anyway and ph’d proper just before lights out so we will see what happens tomorrow.

Day 35 flowering: Damn these girls are beautiful. They have been constant throughout the grow and have no issues besides their flop is starting to happen. ,need to yo-yo soon no doubt. The buds are rock solid and do not move when squeezed. Smell is so beautiful and skittles sweet too. I am so glad i went with this strain as the main grow. With so long still to go and the bud swell still to come in another weeks time ,their yield should be good. Go Gz. love them

Week 10: This will be the final update before Harvest: I will update post harvest after the dry and weigh. Day 64-66: Hmm these 4AM are a strange bunch lol. I seemed to have been wrong about 4AM#3 getting better in last week's update, after reviewing the pictures. After realizing this I decided to continue feeding the plants till the end albeit only Calmg and Boost(micro). I decided to give 4AM#3 a 125% dose of Calmg on Day 66. I was worried about root rot because even though she was a bigger plant she drank noticeably less water than the rest. I actually forgot to mention I have had a few fungus gnats during the grow starting at around day 35. I always let the plants completely dry out even until some leaves were really drooping from thirst, so I though I had them under control. I never noticed more than 1 or 2 at a time, which is also why I thought I had it out of control. Maybe they have something to do with 4AM#3's state, but I doubt it. Anyway, 4AM#1 and #2 are doing well. #1 has fully ripened with almost 95% cloudy trichomes, and some amber. #2 on the other hand could still use 7-10 days extra, but regretfully I cannot harvest then... #3 is at about the same stage as #2. Day 67-70: Sadly I noticed too late, but that extra strong dose of Calmg seemed to confirm my suspisions... 4AM#3 had a heavy calmg deficiency... It really is noticeably improving this time! Leaves are regaining some slight saturation! And she drank her water very quickly this time! So bummed about having to harvest this weekend... Day 73... Oh well next time I will be able to harvest more freely and at different times for each plant if needed. She still has a good bit of cloudy trichomes on her calyxes though, around 40-60%, and very very few ambers, but her sugar leaves are already full of them. As for 4AM#1, looking great! gona be the smallest buds but definately the most dank! 4#2's massive buds are still having trouble staying upright, but looking forward to those for sure! RED ALERT: Shiiiit... So as I was watering 4AM#3 on day 69, I noticed, what I'm pretty sure is, BUD ROT! Damn, I'll have a picture as part of this update. I had very bad experience with bud rot last fall(planted my autos too late in the summer, lost over half my plants and had to harvest early), but that was with 10C temps and 80%+ RH. I have FOUR fucking fans in this damn tent, and it's always over 20C! But I'll be honest, I knew if it was going to happen, it would be THAT part of the plant positioned closest to that oscillating fan I have on the peace of wood... The bud closest to it(in the corner) is in it's blind spot, doesn't get direct breeze on it. And that's the bud, and the ONLY bud that seems to have been affected. Strangely though, this bud rot feels different to the touch than the one I had last summer. Very dry, and like I said, very isolated to that ONE little part. I cut it out and have the rest of the bud drying as a tester in my room. And my entire room STINKS. I seemed to have been wrong about that last week also; The 4AM smells so much stronger than the White Cracks. See you after the Harvest!! ;) It's been awesome and a fun learning experience!

8/28/2022 - 21 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 The third week of vegetation of my Orange Sherbet 🍊🍨🍨 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - I had to adjust the dosage, the lower leaves of the plant lightened a little after the first dose of nutrients, and it was the Orange Sherbet Auto that burned the tips of the lower leaves - that's why I reduced the dose by half this week 🍃🍃 Hesi: Hesi Root Complex I give this root stimulator for root support, although Jungle Indabox also supports root growth, namely: Jungle Urban A - (N-P-K) - (2-1-6) Everything for healthy growth and formation of the root system Atami - ATA Calmag - I missed completely Advanced Nutrients - Bud Candy - I also adjusted the dosage by half 🍬🍬 Pre-flowering: The classic white hairs indicating the female gender have not yet appeared on the girl 👩‍🌾👧🏼 Light: Mars Hydro TS1000 - really great lamp with sufficient lighting and energy-friendly 💡💡 Training: Topping: I usually top in the third week of the plant's life, just like this time. However, now the girls are very advanced in growth, so they will have more main branches 🌴🌴 LST: Two days after topping, I anchored the lowest branches to the ground with metal clips, tied the higher branches with a string towards the edges of the flower pot, so that the light would shine on each of them 💡💡 Defoliation: In the next two days, I cut off all the large leaves that were shading the branches 🌞🌞 The girl is no longer a child, she is a strong young lady, full of branches and leaves. I love the dark colors ane the smell is very good too! So far no problems, i put some extra soil in the pot because the roots started to become more visible
