I added kelp fertilizer to the water twice during the week. She is about 3 inches tall. I have had her under a dome for these past two weeks. This week, after heavy rain, I removed it for good since the leaves were touching the sides. Hopefully no renegade squirrels trample her. Pics taken 4/21 & 24 Your likes and comments are appreciated. I apologize upfront for all the photos. It was hard to pick which ones to upload, so I picked a good variety. There is gonna be between 4-6 pounds once dried/cured. These were all super dense and very little larf. This was a higher temp/higher humidity run with lots of co2 and they blew up big. It’s been a minute since I’ve grown a cola or 2 that were bigger than my arm…this time there was dozens of them. Each plant was only topped one time. The temps were usually mid 80’s and humidity in the mid 60’s during flower. This might seem high to some, but learning to apply VPD to a grow should not be trial and error, in other words, this was intentional. It’s not risky either. During the first 6 to 7 weeks of flower it is very important to not let your night time temps to go below 75 degrees. POWDERY MILDEW=LOW TEMPS AND HIGH HUMIDITY. Take one of these away and there will not be any powdery mildew! Do not let your temps go below 75! The last 2 weeks I dropped the humidity to 40% and my night temps to mid 60’s for resin production. A couple of thing one should have to create large buds is a temperature gun(for leaf temp), a par meter and co2. Keep the stomata open and feed lots of co2=huge buds. Learn about VPD and not just a quick google search! When it’s dry and cured I’ll be back for an update on weight, taste and effects. Currently the plants are drying in the room at 60 degrees and 60% humidity until I can get in there to trim them. Might be 2-3 weeks. Thanks again for all the likes and comments!

There’s a few things I’d personally change if I was to grow fat Banana again. But this time round she was very resistant to high temperatures and humidity during Flower. She holds on to nitrogen so I’d definitely feed her less on the nutrients as she is a light feeder.

It is a vigorous plant with very uniform branching, high resinous and high yield, if you grow from seed there are a few different phenos that I got, equally as good

Solo cup challenge continues to press along. Not much change, plants are in veg, growing and healthy. Still a few weeks before the flowers start so I hope to get a bit of size going before it does. Week 6 day 1 video Week 6 day 4 video I’m still pushing very hard with carbs every watering, humic acid, soluble n, soluble pk, microbial mass, b+, fishshit. Already tried testers for lowers. Very potent hits harder than a pen. Feels like 30-40% baked for 1-3h per j, different phenos. Not harsh just testers dried for 0:01:15, checked seeds and developing for 2-3 weeks

26-11-2021: Added some ventilators to circulate the air better in the room. Only 250 M3/h so nothing special. Buds are still swelling and I am more confident that my ladies will keep up till end of third week of December. Will do a system Rebuild after this. 27-11-2021: Buds are starting to swell. Great... just a few weeks... Cut one bud. She was ripe. Still don't understand how 02-12-2021: Bit hot in here at times.... Starting to color.. just a few weeks more

D19 (10/12/2020): Beginning of week 3. I saw little yellow/brown spot on big leaves and new leaves, I need to check this closely. I fed with half of the recommended dose but 1.5-1.75L of water per plant. I was giving 1L max and I think it was not enough for the size of my pots. RH of the grow tent is now down at 60%. - temps: 26C - water: PH6.3, PPM: 410 - RH: 60% D20 (11/12/2020): Today I saw thrips larva crawling on a leaf (see video above). That confirm my problem is not a nutrients deficiency. I know how I got them and it's a rookie mistake from me. At the beginning of my grows, I placed a plant in my tent that was originally outdoor during fall. I did not think that it would be infested with bugs. I removed it when I saw a little bugs fly in my tent but the damage was probably already done. I read about thrips and you can get rid of them if you act fast and soon in the infestation. I will go to my local horticulture store today and ask advices and ways to exterminated them. I'm a newbie in growing cannabis (plants in general) and I want the best for my plants. I'm learning from my mistake and that's what I like! Overall, both plants are growing fast and they react really well to LST. I readjust the tie 2-3x a day because the small leaves are growing so fast! - temp: 26C - no water - RH: 60% D21 (12/12/2020): I bought insecticidal soap and gave a treatment. RH is now at 55% and that increases air flow. -temp: 26C - no water - RH: 55% D22 (13/12/2020): The lamp is now 100% and at 28inch form the plants. They received 430 PPFD (33 000 lux). Temperature is under control around 26C with a new oscillating fan place on the floor. This air flow will help against bugs. LST continue every day to expose new leaves. I gave water with only Max Minerals. - temp: 26.5C - water: PH6.4, PPM: 275, approx.: 1,75L per plant - RH: 55% D23 (14/12/2020): LST continue, I try to bend one branch every day and readjust the other ones. I did not see more bugs but some of the new leaves are affected so I know they are still there. I ordered nematodes to help me prevent new larvae. They are suppose to arrive in two days. - temp: 26C - no water - RH: 55% D24 (15/12/2020): I removed leaves at the bottom of the pants last night. Probably 3-4 leaves per plant that were not receiving light. This morning I can see that it gave a good boost on the new leaves! Continuing LST as usual. The nematodes arrived earlier then expected. I will apply them tonight as soon as the lights turn on! - temp: 26C - no water - RH: 54% D25 (16/12/2020): I did a lot today! First, I sprayed another treatment of insecticidal soap on all my plants. Second, I removed one inch of soil in each pot and replaced it with new soil (same soil). I saw sign of what I think is phosphate deficiency. I was really shy on nutrients since beginning of the grow. Third, I fed full recommended dose for week 3 of veg. I gave 1.5L of water with nutrients and approx. 0.5L of tap water when I placed the nematodes. Fourth, I placed one tea pouch of nematodes in each pot as recommended. I also opened 2 tea pouch of nematodes and sprinkled them over the soil of all plants. Finally, I continued LST. It was a big week of up and down. Both plants grew like crazy and I discover an infestation. I think Banana Kush is in pre flower but I'm not sure. It's a bit early but they got so much stressed this week. -temp: 26C -water: PH6.5, PPM: 725 -RH: 55%

Plant is still alive. I believe some sort of genetic mutation has caused this plant to react the way it has outdoors. I have cut neurmours clones that grow and flower normally inside. The mother plant (seen in pic) and ever clone planted outdoors had a negative reaction to being brought outdoors. I have treated for and ruled out mites. Interested for opinions. Thanks growdaddy!

Girls doing well but have run into some calcium deficiency which will hopefully be fixed soon.

December 15, day 1, seedling healthy with taproot growing 1.5 inches out of rapid rooter. Transplanted to seedling container. Under 25w Sansi LED untill it is ready for veg lighting. 5 gallon final container prepped with buffered coco/perlite. December 18, day 4. Seedling has had some issues with transpiration, probably due to not enough flushing of the coco. The result is damage to the tips/necrosis of the first true leaves. I flushed the medium and the seedling seems to be recovering. It is sending out more roots and growing at a steady pace. I also moved the seedling into its final pot. This feels a little premature, but it was over growing it's humidity dome. In the final pot it can be covered by clear plastic to maintain humidity. December 19, day 5, new growth is healthy which I am happy about. I will cross my fingers that my quick adjustments fixed the transpiration issues. I am hoping to get it huge and have it trained across the whole 2x4 tent, and it needs to avoid getting stunted for that to happen. 💪🌱 December 20, day 6, I had a bit of a scare when I accidentally knocked my humidity meter and it fell right onto the seedling! The poor thing was knocked right over. It seems to be fine, just leaning a little bit over which will hopefully correct itself in the next few days. December 21, day 7, healthy growing 🌱👍
