Couple got a little burn I think maybe a little too much soil in there with the coco on top of the light feed? I got all the final pots filled up today they will go in 3 gal bags either today or tmm. It's a Greentree pro ultra coco/perlite mixed with some roots organic soil about 70/30.

Watered each with 1ml/200ml once for each plant top of the week. Weather is now sub 16°C in the day time, i'm guessing the seedlings are hibernating for the cold. Mostly it rely on the rain to keep these drinking but i notice when the weather gets cold the plants drink less, anyway seeing their size looks like they really dont need much right now. most of the plants got attacked by some leaf eaters, nothing that major though, one of the plants is showing some burn, but nothing i can do about that... Basically on cruise control and i'm not really taking care of them. Companion plants seem like they're slowing too but less so than the cannabis plants. i pulled on pot marigold because it was just so huge, otherwise it's handsoff basically. Wish these poor plants good good luck - they really do need it ! 🚀

We’ve reached the final week before harvest. Most of the plants are already ready for root flushing or do it. I’ll do it in batches since humidity levels are a bit tricky. I flush the roots with plain water first and then add several liters with Final Flush to see if it leaves any effect on the flavor. I’m still applying a preventive fungicide foliarly. They’ve developed some great main buds, and I’m really looking forward to trying them.

Week 10! Because of the extreme heat of the last days the temps in my tent were peaking at around 38°C, so I decided to turn off the 200W CFL and keep the two 50W LEDs running. She is still doing well and will soon reach the end of her journey :)

Ph problem

Mainlining is progressing nicely. The main stem was topped at the 3rd node, and each main branch was topped again at the 3rd node to build a clean and symmetrical manifold. I always wait until the branches have 5 nodes before topping, to make sure the plant is strong enough to handle the stress. This week I performed a selective defoliation and some light LST, only to guide the branches and keep everything level. I’m still deciding between 8 or 12 main colas, depending on how the plant continues to respond. In the video you can clearly see the before and after of defoliation and training 🌱💪

Update Blütetag 45 Hey Leute, hier mal neue Bilder für euch! Leider sehen die Pflanzen langsam alle bisschen abgerockt aus, aber die Blüten find ich ganz ok. Hab die Woche nur Wasser gegeben und davon auch sehr wenig, hab mir n Messgerät zugelegt und würde mal behaupten ich hatte sie überwässert (Stony hatte mich noch davor gewarnt). Sonst ist nicht viel passiert ausser dass die Mädels heute nochmal einmalig meinen neuen Zaubertrunk probieren durften, dann weiss ich schonmal für den nächsten run ob das in Kombination so passt. Both plants were cut after a total runtime of 17 weeks from germination. ⚖️ Wet Weight Future #1 #1: 1135 g Future #1 #2: 1150 g Both plants delivered strong yields, with only minor variation between the two. 🌿 Overall Impression Visually, the result is very solid. The buds are dense, well-formed, and show a good level of resin production. The run remained stable through to harvest, with no major issues affecting the final outcome. All material is now hanging to dry, with final results to be evaluated after trimming and dry weight assessment. A long run overall, but a consistent and worthwhile finish. 🌿💪

The time has come! Flowering has been initiated and is off to a good start, The Photoperiod is now running at 11/13 on/off and the intensity of the light has been bumped up to 60% giving me a DLI of aorund 37.5 at 30" hang height in my 2x4. As the plants where topped a bunch I have found in previous grows the stretch will not be as crazy as if I left them on their own, however the increased pot size may negate that effect, only time will tell :D I also gave them a 2nd watering as the last one was leaving the pots a bit to light. This could be their new normal 1gal one week, 2 gal the next separated by a few days. They have all been amended with a 50/50 mix of grow and bloom from Gaia, Also added in some extra Insect Frass, Yeast and Bokashi grains, mixed this all with worm castings and compost for the top dress. added the compost after mixing it into the top layer so it gives it a bit of a blanket. made a little video of it and me watering the plants on a speed run. One thing I need to find is a sprayer head that has a 70-90 degree bend on it. I'm tired of watering from overhead as my wand is straight and does not have a bend. Its made of hard plastic and was thinking I would toss the tip in the oven to soften it up and place a coat hanger though it, then bend it ever so slightly and wait for it to cool, can snip off the wire and pull it out once its all done and have a bent tip. or I can get a 2nd wand attachment for it. Just been so busy have not had time to search for it, the peppers are doing much better as well, after the defoliation from last week they where getting a bit more light but that is all gone now, the plants have taken it back. and they are in shade, the plants seem to like it more. only the one strain likes the intense light of the led's, Fatalii peppers, It might be the hottest ones I'm growing if the goronong don't measure up. The JigSaw peppers are also starting to show some of their variegation in the leaves that make them pretty to grow now they are in the shade more. and its bound to be better then pure purple leaves from the LED"s Butterwort is eating all the gnats as well. so no problem there. Will apply the nematodes later next week to kill em off in the medium. Don't want them getting trapped in the flowers. stupid little fuckers. I left out some of the extras in the water this week as it was its first topdressing, didn't want to stress it out to much, I will be topdressing every week and diving the total ammount of amendments in 4 parts. vs one big feeding at beginning of the month like its been suggested on the label, I find this helps avoid the N burn I normally see and gives them a bit better of a breakdown for flowering period. It worked really well with my G13 Labs Blue Cindy grow so I am repeating the process and will likely make this my new standard. I will also be adding in some Mg into every other water till stretch is done same with a very light feeding of molasses, I know it has been negative in past grows but going to try it out again with much smaller amounts. 1tea/pot, the extra sugars should work wonders on the Bokashi added into the soil and allow it to thrive. Plants are starting to get more of a funk to them as well, So i feel that's what was happening with the gifted plant to my parents smelling up the place, it was just entering flowering as it was not in a tent n the lighting must have been to low. And the little cuttings I did last week are fine, no roots but will soon have a bunch of little clones to go. Just in time for spring. I think that's it. Last week, first of flowering, was outstanding, I could water the girls regulary and the work paid off they stretched a lot and are looking super healthy. The girl right below the upper fan is suffering a bit with the shadows and is notoriously shorter than her sisters, I will need to rethink the air circulation for the next grow. Another concern of mine is their height, hoping they dont stretch anymore as the lights are already at maximum possible height inside tent and there is only 20cm gap between it and the plants.

Everything is going smoothly, she’s starting to produce a lot of resin, becoming very frosty. I’ll do a little bit less of feeding this week, it seems she isn’t wanting as much food anymore.

The flowers on this pheno are insane frosty rockhard. Really scared to smoke these 😂 I must say this is the first strain that can handle high humidity up to 79% (with lights off) and no sign of mold even on the other pheno 0 problems and we are now in the final week, i only hive rainwater every day untill runoff for the past 5 days the leaves are still dark so she got enough left to finish up Amazing strain she also fits nice in a 4x4 with only 5weeks veg

2025-04-13 to 2025-04-19 I have started the flush and will be harvesting in the next few days. The aroma on this cultivar at time of harvest is a combination of musky earth and citrus. No nutrients are used the last 10 days.

During the initial two weeks of growth, Bad Guy by UKHTA Genetics encountered suboptimal conditions marked by low humidity. This environment took a toll, causing some leaves to exhibit signs of dehydration, notably curling and drying at the edges and base. Despite these challenges, the strain showcased its resilience, pushing forward with steady growth. Regular monitoring and adjustments are crucial to ensure Bad Guy's health and maximize its potential as it navigates these less-than-ideal conditions.

I'm satisfied from tbe overall yield, 65 grams dry is good, but I would have expected more. The smell and taste are awesome and it's very strong, it gives you good appetite and the high last long. Buds are a little bit airy but this must be that the light source is not enough. That's all lads, have been a pleasure updating this diary, and now I'll focus on the other one running that is coming up really nice.
