So where to begin I got 108.83 ounces wet from two plants in a 2.3x2.3 on my first attempt not including larf. I can’t complain about that. Took me 14 hours to trim the last plant and boy that was a marathon. I will update this once I get some dry weights and everything goes into curing.

😈👹😈👹 DARK DEVIL AUTO®️!!! 😈👹😈👹 Finally getting around to a strain I’ve been dying to grow! I’m hoping for a successful germination rate, keeping my fingers crossed!🤞 For these girls I’ll be growing in two different mediums with a variety of nutrients and amendments from various brands. Of course as always, all inputs are 100% organic. No synthetics allowed in my garden! Two Dark Devils will be grown in Nectar For the Gods #4 Soil Mix and the other who will be grown in Malibu’s Baby Bu’s Potting Soil. Both of these mediums are considered premium and only have the best quality inputs. Both soils also contain coco coir. In my experience I have found that autoflowers grow so much better in soil mixed with coco. Anytime that I’ve grown in heavier based peat soils I get much smaller root balls and root mass in general compared to coco/peat mixed mediums. The NFG #4 is a much lighter substrate than the Bu’s because it’s filled with a ton of perlite and pumice. One benefit is that it also has basalt so it’s considered “paramagnetic”. The one thing I added to the NFG mix was organic Bio-Char blend made from Build A Soils bio char and locally sourced organic bio char. The Baby Bu’s medium is 100% Coco Coir based, mixed with their biodynamic compost, worm castings, bio char, and tons of other beneficial ingredients. This medium is slightly heavier than the NFG even though the NFG is peat and coco based. It really comes down to there being less aeration material in the Bu’s blend compared to the NFG. But hopefully the coco will make up for the lack of aeration compared to the Nectar #4. A benefit claimed by both companies is that their products are properly mixed and stored so the customer does not receive “HOT” soil. The mediums come lightly pre-amended but believe that the Baby Bu’s will have more nutrients than the NFG #4 mix as they claim their soil is an “all mix”. I will be feeding the plants with living oxygenated water, microbial inoculants and light compost teas until the plants look like they need more food. This is my first time growing in both mediums so we’ll see as I grow along! I will also be adopting the northern lights technique that I’m using on my Banana Blaze grow diary! Update: 12/16 All four seeds broke ground around the same time at 9:00pm. 100% successful germination rate. Let’s see how they progress into the vegetative state. Update: 12/18 one out of four seeds may be showing signs of damping off. All four were growing straight as an arrow but today one is slightly slouched and leaves are allowing water to soak in. This usually isn’t a great sign! Update: 12/19 Took the suspected damping off seedling out of her humidity dome and she improved overnight. She is the only one with a greenish colored stem while the other three all have distinctive red/brownish stems similar to other purple strains I have grown. Thanks for stopping by! 😈

She is doing her thing this week. She only grew 13cm this week. I do have a CO2 bag generator thing... It's not doing a lot though. My CO2 meter reads barely over 400ppm.........

For the past few days, this girl (3), has been not growing in girth or height. Although she seems fuller and healthier.. Gonna wait her out! OH Another thing, A great big SHOUT OUT to Sacred Geometry and Astarte for giving me great advice on my stem issue with plant 2. I went ahead and chose SG's for my answer simply because I felt topping the pot was the right call. Oh but be aware, that my plant heights all went down due to topping off the pots with more soil... But I feel more comfortable about that plant now. Also I heeded SG's advice on Fox Farm Nutrients and halved the recommendations this week. All right, on to my daily log entries. These can all be found in the pics above, but I feel like it makes my comments more beefy.... 12/17 Humidifier ran out of H2O, trimmed first leaves & suckers off Plant 3. I know she's little but I hate her having to work harder for those terrible nutrient suckin leaves 12/18 Rinsed all plants w/ PH Balanced H2O & watered lightly around stem. Sat Back and enjoyed growth. Man, 4 is kick ass! Put in CO2 cannisteter @6:07P 12/19 Trimmed last two weird leaves off plant 3, only left 2 pairs up top hopefully enough... just wanted to get it focused. Topped $4 too, left 3 nodes 12/20 Fed w/ 1.5 tsp/ga Big Bloom / Big Grow, 1/8 tsp/ ga Clean Kelp topped pots w/Dirt (SO SG!) so heights went down Did not top #3's pot too short. Rinsed plants w/ PH Balanced H2O TDS @ 1154 PPM PH out 4.35. 12/21 Topped plant 1, removed bad leaves, P2 pinched baby suckers. (I realize now I'm not really topping, I'm more just trimming suckers) 12/22 CO2 juices on P1 leaves caused almost holes thru it Dropped light to 19 1/2" f/ #3 12/23 Measured plants, shook up CO2 cannister #4 Power Growth! #3 seems to be fuller but no measurement changes!
