Meanwhile, our flowering cycle continues. In just one week, the plants have changed noticeably and are developing exactly as expected.

So guys today is day 49 entering week 8, so 1 more week on the bio bizz heaven, top max and bloom. The weather in the UK is mad at the minute 28°c my grow room is the same with lights off and causing my a lot of humidity, thank god for the dehumidifier but I'm emptying it twice a day now. Buds are getting fatter and the fade is coming on. Just got to go in there and check on them, temp has dropped now even tho light is on. Humidity is sitting at 50%. I have started the ripener 5ml to a litre I will be running this for the next 7-10 days and then rinsing with there rinse aid for 4 days so aiming for harvest on the 24th-25th latest 😀. Day 70 - It takes 5 days for the soil to dry out, with a 2.5 gallon dosage of the above listed nutrients. She has been selectively de-leafed, since the last major defoliation. The goal from now to harvest, is to maximize the light penetration, and airflow throughout the canopy, while sacrificing as few leaves as possible!

Buds are not as dense as the first purple punch but the mass is more. Will keep this updated up to drying. Edit #1 June 15 : buds have been washed in baking soda/lime juice warm water (32*C) > rtp water (27*C) > cold water (22*C). Buds then will be hung to dry for 24 hours in AC (45% humid). At day 2 (or in another 24 hours) will move the buds into another room for 24 hours again @65-75% humidity. Day 3 (or in another and probably the last 24 hours of drying) will move back into ac and then a stem test on each branch will be conducted to see if they are dry enough. If they are not dry enough after day 3 (2 days ac @ 45% and 1 day rtp @65-75%) then a 4th day of ac drying will occur and then more branch tests. Upon being sufficiently dry, the final trim of the sugar leaves will occur and then jarring with some Boveda 58%. Thanks for reading, more edits to come. Hey now, hope everyone has been well. Super excited football season is finally here so things are about to get busy. I went out of town for 4 days and the plants struggled a little bit with the PH getting slightly too high before I returned. I also came back to see that some type of insect was munching away on the lower leaves of this little Sundae Driver, so I sprayed the plant and coco with neem oil, but hopefully they didn't do much damage before I can get them under control I have never experienced insect problems indoors, likely because I grow in Coco and not Soil. However, I left a 5 gallon airpot full of coco from a previous grow outside for a couple weeks by mistake, and pretty sure bugs got into. I won't make that rookie mistake again. Anyways the rest of the ladies are looking pretty good, They are almost getting what I consider a full dose of nutrients, even though it half of the manufacturers recommended dosage. I am feeding all Gen Hydro cal mag, Armor Si, and maxi grow. I also add some food grade hydrogen peroxide to keep the reservoir fresh for around 10 days or so but I clean it once a week. Not sure why GD website doesn't allow me to enter GHE under the old or new name. I did get all the ladies transplanted from solo cups to airpots on day 16, and it took 24 hours or so for them to recover from the transplant and start growing again. I am running 3 of the 3.4 gallon, and 2 of the 5.4 gallon just because that is what I had available. I hopefully top them all sometime this week for the first time, as soon as the roots are a little stronger. I let them grow to 7 nodes or so before I top them and make sure they're growing fast. Hopefully I can still mainline the Sundae Driver, she looks healthy other than those two leaves chomped off. All the plants are on their 5th nodes, except for the Green Crack 2.0 which is only on her 4th node. We got another heat wave coming through my region that I am not too excited about but at least its earlly in the game and I don't need to crank this light up yet. I am only running it at 30% and its putting off plenty to keep these ladies happy. Hoping to get a topping done this week, then another one next week, and be ready to flip to flower by week 7 or so. Hola cultivadores. Se acerca la víspera de año nuevo, y con ello, la llegada de la floración. El día 12/27 observé las plantas y se aprecian diminutos pelos blancos, no están presentes en todas las ramas. Pero es suficiente para comenzar la fertilización con productos de floración. Escogí Bio-Bloom de BioBizz en su dosis media para que se adapte poco a poco al cambio de alimento, reduciendo igualmente el Fish-Mix a la mitad. Se mantuvo el Acti-Vera y el Alg-A-Mic en su misma dosis. Ya la planta alcanzó los 67 cm, esperemos crezca y engruese sus ramas porque igualmente están delgadas para soportar el peso de los cogollos.

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

Hello again and welcome to week 5, the beginning of true flower! Ahsoka (her star wars name) is doing awesome with LST. Last week we tied down her main cola but this week her branches were long enough to Tie most of them down to. I will leaf tuck everyday to keep light on the budsites. Ashoka has finally hardened off properly and I moved her to the big tent since she is also in flower. She is under The Optic 8+ we still haven't had to feed any nutrients yet 🤞 but are giving real growers recharge as a microbial. As you can see her roots have just exploded with growth. Love this opaque container deal!
