Day 56 Flowering: We are finally at an harvest window after only seeing the poor fft#8 pulled early. FFT#9 is still giving out lots of new pistils so wants to continue a bit longer . She has some very nice bud stacks that will benefit from another weeks swelling and growth. I decided to end the drought stress and feed again as I could not risk slowing the. down too much at this stage now. She has a lot of trichromes covering her sugar leaves and buds too but they are still fairly clear when I looked at them with the loupe. By the amount of fresh pistils still showing and popping out , she will be good for at least another week and plenty more feeds. This strain is a beautiful smelling and growing beasty. a sure fire winner once released. FFT#10 Has been in the dark for nearly 3 days now and will be trimmed up later for her drying period. She looks absolutely perfect in the flesh amd pics do not do her justice. Nice, fat , long and trich covered colas throughout the plant amd I cannot wait to sample that beautiful candy smelling trich monster. Be safe and Well growmies

4 week done now and progression feels to be paying off. I found a way to get a consistent pH that works for me and by the end of the week the girls started to really start to grow and move. LST almost everyday but most of the time I like to wait a couple days. But the plants at moving quicker. Up the ppm to 400 + and top soil with a giant mix of things which will run it course for the next 2 weeks or more depending on how I want to handle it. Week 5 looks promising. Hoping for some prominent stretching and some extra foliage. This time I ran 6.2 pH but next time will get a perfect run with 6.4-6.5 pH to really have them drinking. Started introducing more air in the room to enhance the co2 more as well. The circulation was good already but, always nice to have an abundance of c02

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. What a fun experience! This was my first time trying a mixed grow style of synthetics and organic. I think I may have found my new go-to strategy. This definitely wasn't a perfect run by any means - as a matter of fact, I botched the feedings earlier in her life. However this grow definitely taught me a lot more about how to treat this strain properly. Now I'm running her clones in the 3x3x6. So the legacy will continue! Let's see how this strain does during the summer months! Cheers everyone! This has been an awesome grow. What I'm lacking in yield, I yet again make up for in quality. And I don't think yield will be an issue with the clones, they're week 6 veg - and quite massive! - RWI out!! 😁 😶‍🌫️🤑

Hello everyone Hopefully everyone is well and healthy. Another week passed by and we have the RUNTZ from Zamnesia growing slowly but surely. Stretching is slow but I think she still hasn't reached the bottom off the pot. Once that happens I am hoping for a bigger stretch. Then move her to a bigger pot. Weather isn't with us this week here in the UK 🇬🇧 not a lot off sun coming true mostly cloudy 🌥️ but my lux meter that I use still shows 65000 lux and more in clouds. So should be ok for seedling. Same feed as last week. Happy Growing

Had a good week, this has been a very easy grow, she's responding really well to the LST and defoliation. I would suggest any new growers try out Red Devil Auto from Weedseedsexpress. They're having some great sales right now!

Still on cruise control. Had 1 plant crisp up early from the late watering a couple weeks back. I think cutting the cal-mag out at week 3 may have hurt the BBB and GMO Zkittles some as they yellowed out earlier then I would have liked. Either that or they got hungrier and I didn't correct it, but I will watch it more closely the next time I run it. First set of pics are the beginning of week 7 and the last set are from end of week 8 as marked. I will post an end of week 9 update before harvest and week 10 will be bud shots either after drying then week 11 will be off the branch shots or I may wait and combine both into week 10.
