Well I let them go on for another week in the end and I don’t know whether I’m just used to the smell but I definitely have noticed a decline in the loudness of these girls. I’m not ‘flushing’ as much as just giving them water and terpinator for the last couple of weeks to help them fade and finish off. More amber trichomes than I usually have, so these are perfectly ripe I’d say. The additional lights I added to the bottom of the plants definitely worked in maturing the buds but they also made them foxtail and push out pistils and seemed a bit forced. Also needed to account for the extra heat that 3 x small LED strips (approx 25w) so I decided as I wound down the main light to 10.5/13.5 I would turn those off entirely for the last few days. Decided to harvest all the plants together simply because it makes my life easier, believe it or not? Even though the Gorilla Zkittlez could’ve perhaps gone another week even. Oh well. Drying and curing is always an anxious time for me and the aromas are not as pungent as I’d hoped, but let’s hope this bud comes out nice because as this has been a long run due to the cold weather hampering veg early on.

Last week of my grow and I am excited to cut her down. Its been a long 15 weeks but I think I did a great job with what I had. Bag seed is a toss up and you never know what is going to happen. This was a good week with no issues. I flushed her and gave her last feed with water PH to 6.4. She started off strong grew well, then hermed on me i think around week 8 or 9. I was lucky enough to take whatever pollen sacks I found and she didnt end up getting pollenated. She is going to sit in the dark for 24-36 hours and will be getting chopped down after that. I am really excited to see how she looks. Her buds are dense and the trichomes are milky. Not to toot my own horn but she looks better than the pot I found the seed in. Next grow will be a clone that I am getting from another grower but i have also ordered some auto flowers, just not sure when they will be in, seems like most seed banks are sketchy on time frames. Hoping things turn out well for me and i hope things turn out well for all of you. Happy Growing!

Still getting slightly thicker.. insanely dense buds. Smells like Minty-sweet funky Gas. Definitely a very minty dominate smell which is exciting and interesting. Also compared to other strains that ive grown I like her fiery-orange pistils vs brownish color. Looks very appealing. This will be the last week of feeding flower nutes.. next week I plan to give her Cannazym and some boost(sugars). Last week will just be enzymes and or just plain water.

Everything is going well with her growth — she's just getting used to being outdoors. We bent the main top a little. She handled all the stress, cold weather, and rain really well. The temperature dropped to as low as 7°C (45°F), and we had heavy rain, but she's a strong girl and managed to withstand everything. 😊🌱💪🏻

Still working on my canopy. I did some defoliation in order to encourage growth at the bud sites and improve circulation. I have 3-4 weeks until her sister is mature enough to flower. I took a gamble and germinated another seed two weeks ago because the one I originally planted with her turned out to be male. I hope it will be mature enough to produce a decent yield. Even though it will only have been growing for 4 weeks. By that time I expect most of the bud sites on the older plant to have grown through the trellis, and I should have a nice even canopy. The second plant will just be grown as is with very little training. I don't want to slow its growth at all.

The plant was planted in a larger pot, which has approx. 60-70 liters of which approx. 70% Bio bizz light mix and 30% Bio bizz Wurm humus were used. The plant was tied down with a scrog net and slightly defoliated. It should work through the stress for another 2-3 days and then it will start flowering.

Finally a sunny day in the midst of our insanely wet spring. Rain, rain and more rain, and rain in the forecast. The Japanese beetles have shown up, so I’ve made giant canna-condoms to keep the girls safe from the insatiable munchers. The girls look good, one is much smaller than the other, I call her Minnie.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. And hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary. I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of 3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This new strain combines two well-received parents, Juanita la Lagrimosa (Spanish for "Juanita the Tearful") and Royal Highness, which are themselves genetic hybrids of other precursor strains: Juanita the Tearful from Queen Mother and a Mexican-Afghan blend; Royal Highness from Dance Hall and Respect 13. On and on the strains date back in agricultural time, each new variety with its own unique smell, taste, color, high and medical benefit. However, in the past decade, a goal of all this tinkering has been what some producers are starting to call “Royal Respect” with the soul of marijuana's benefits going toward both body and mind. Painkiller XL is notable for its near-equal representation of 6 percent tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 7 percent cannabidiol (CBD), achieved by a seed that's 70 percent sativa and 30 percent indica. While the sativa variety of cannabis is widely known for producing more of a mental, cerebral high, and indica has a reputation for contributing more toward its physical high, other factors are more important to consider: THC is the compound given most of the credit for that head high, with CBD takes the credit for marijuana's many proven medicinal benefits, which range vastly from relieving pain, anxiety, migraines, fibromyalgia and even mad cow disease to easing many of the most deleterious symptoms of AIDS, diabetes, epilepsy and Parkinson's disease. These are just a handful of the dozens of ailments marijuana is being prescribed to combat by doctors across the globe and in more than a dozen U.S. states. Cooperatives at medical marijuana dispensaries have been at the forefront of providing CBD-rich cannabis buds and oils for their patients, who undoubtedly appreciate being able to purchase the strain best-suited to ease their particular ailments. This new strain joins others rich in both CBD and THC like Euphoria, Royal Medic, Medical Mass and Danceworld that seek to actually not necessarily downplay cannabis' psychoactive effects in favor of optimizing its healing role, but instead equalize the two. According to the California-based Steep Hill Cannabis Analysis Laboratory, this equalization brings to the cannabis user not just the physically healing aspects, but also the spiritually and psychologically healing benefits as well. There are other strains with very little THC and more CBD than Painkiller XL , but rare are such splendid balances. Producers of this strain say it produces a considerable amount of pain relief, with a mild, relieving mental euphoria. With a flowering time of eight weeks, the Painkiller XL seed can produce 525 to 575 grams per plant indoors. Inside, the dried yield is 400 to 450 grams per plant. Inside, the plants average in height at about 31.5 inche (80 cm); outside, the average height is about 53 inches (135 cm), with harvest time at the end of September. THC: 9% CBD: 9% Yield Indoor: 500-550gr m2 Yield Outdoor: 500-550 grams per plant dried Height Indoor: 60 - 100 cm Height Outdoor: 120 - 150 cm Flowering time: 8 weeks Harvest month: Late September Genetic background: Juanita la Lagrimosa x Royal Highness Type Sativa: 75%; Indica: 25% Effect: Physical, clear high. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-09-02. 2 out of 3 Seeds germinated today after 36 h, i planted them in soil and put them in my humidity dome under T5 lights.
