Hello Diary, Purple Lemonade has reached the end of its third week, at the same time it has completed the vegetation phase and is entering the flowering phase. This week it grew an impressive 20 cm, it got a bunch of new leaves and now it's at the stage where it looks like a small bush. Purple lemonade has slowly started to form flowers. The leaves are a nice green color and look healthy. It is really developing very nicely, which makes me super happy. The summer heat is still present which affects the temperature in the grow box, this week the average was 29 degrees although sometimes the temperature rises to over 31 degrees. But I don't notice that it is harming them, I make sure to water them regularly, so that the soil does not remain too dry although that sometimes happens. Every week, as the plants grow, I increase the amount of water when watering. I continue to add Bio Grow Fertiliser and CalMg with each watering. pH I drop to 6.0 with Plagron's Lemon Kick. At the end of the week, more precisely after taking photos for day 21, I increased the power of the led lights to 80%. Here is a quick overview of the week: 10/08/2024 - Day 17. Watering. I prepared 8 liters of water, added Bio Grow Fertilizer and CalMg and with that amount I evenly watered all three plants on the farm. 13/08/2024 - Day 20. Watering. I've cut my LA Confidential down the day before last; I suppose I should smoke some before I log a harvest for it tho. My pH is more stable and the ppm is getting down pretty low. Im getting a mag glass tomorrow to see the trichomes better. They seem to be mixed cloudy and clear, but I'm unsure. The buds are pretty dense and sticky. Any day now..

The trichomes are starting to make themselves known On this one, also the smell is becoming a citrus like aroma which is one of my favorites, also No signs of deficiencies or anything yet so I hope it stays that way.

This plant stretched so nice, theres perfect leaf to bud ratio so i didnt have to defoliate. I also poured a full bucket 1200ppm trough the coco so she got fres nutrients all over and old salts are gone.

Haven’t been able to post for a bit. We’re through 16 days of 12/12; a week of transition and now done week 1 onto week 2. The stretch on these is heavy. I knew this but my clones were taken a month early I figure. So they’re very tall in the tent and lights are as high as they’ll go. We should be close to the end of stretch this week so here’s hoping we can make it work. Super happy with this grow. Nice and clean and tidy is the game. Bottoms are clean. Lots of nice lush green growth and flowers are really coming on now. Will do a heavy defoliation at day 21. Did a heavy defoliation at the flip. Let me know your thoughts!!

It was one of my first experiences mainlining and heavy defoliating, and I definitely saw the advantages to doing so(even on a smaller plant). I enjoyed this plant so much I wish I could find more seeds. Very potent, RUBBER, diesel, gas smells. Super sticky and gooey, and the bud structure was perfect. Dense, with very little leaf for trim. Beautiful colors and all together an amazing strain.

Apple Betty Seedlings 🌱 are doing great! They are looking very healthy and happy. #1 was slow from the get-go but she has been building steam and is doing well. Routine this week was was just checking the humidifier every morning, and spritzing with my spray bottle x2 daily (very small amounts) starting at the base of the plant, but also making sure to get the exterior edges to allow those roots to be searching for water. Changed the light cycle to 18/6 around day 7, and also adjusted my BloomPlus BP 2500 to have 140 watts at the wall. Didn’t lower the light as the increased wattage seemed to slow down the stretch they initially had. Still using my small 250 watt heater behind my intake fan to draw some heat in and keep the tent nice and cozy, even during lights out (about 75-76 *F) By day 14, I started to water with a measuring cup, still using my 1 ml of Sensi Cal/Mag extra. Watering only about 1/4 cup of water all around the pot, and will wait until the soil is dry’ish (the old finger poke) before I start to increase the watering amount gradually. No nutrients yet, but I will be using the Advanced Nutrients- Grow, Micro and Bloom along with the Sensi Cal Mag extra. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

This week, the plant is feeding heavily and has grown well. I super cropped the main stem to help with the plant becoming too tall, afterwards I made some scaffolding and a sling to hold the break and prevent it from snapping. It has taken very well. Before the training I performed, I used 4 bamboo canes to stake the base. The plant had become very top heavy so this has really helped. The plant was becoming very tall so I thought this would be something to try out. Hello there and welcome to week 12, or the beginning of it anyway. Week 11 is now complete so please check that out! We start the week with 5l fertigation and some nice photos. Now that Bertha is gone the tent smells Karenish. See you tomorrow! Day 78: Added several more carnivorous plants to the budding collection. Enjoy! Day 79: Fertigated 5l. She's starting to mature now. Frost developing slower, buds fattening and ripening faster. Were maybe two weeks away here. Night 80: Added tent photo and vid. Day 81 update later today. Day 81: Added a lot of media. Got a cheap digital microscope to try and get better micro shots. As you can see Karen is nowhere near yet. Day 82: Things are moving very fast, just look at the difference today. I am certain were with 2 weeks of harvest. Does anyone have advice on flushing/not watering. Fertigated 5l. Day 83: At the current rate of maturation I think the end of next week maybe be harvest time. Height 51cm Day 84: Karens smell is really strong now it washes across your face when you open the tent. End of week summary: A full week of nothing but bud swelling and maturation. I still think she needs another 2 weeks. Unfortunately my living situation has rather abruptly changed and now I have a tough choice to make: harvest/destroy or move plants. There is a strong chance I will chop Karen at the end of next week if she is ready or not.

Start of flowering week 1. This girl is already bigger then her round 1 sister and she's starting to stretch after just a few days of 12/12 light. The only nutrient difference this grow, will be the addition of sensizym, hopefully she helps pack on a few more grams per plant.
