Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Hey guys idk what’s going on my autos it seems as if the Gelato and Zkittlez has just stop growing completely I mean there’s no change at all the Zkittlez Og is starting to fill in forming nice little buds but my other autos seems like they had stop completely I know the lifespan on the Gelato is 76-80 days from seed to harvest The Zkittlez lifespan said the same 76-80 days from seed to harvest Zkittlez Og lifespan is 80-90 days from seed to harvest And I know I’m for sure March 9th marked the 60th day on all autos and I know I stress the hell out of them overwatered etc but it looks as if I might only have one plant to successfully make it yet this is my first grow and why I choose to do autos first to give me a little insight on what I’m doing but I’m going to let these girls go for a full 90 days before I decide to trash em and focus purely on my clone grows

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we have lots of sunshine and temperatures in the mid 80's F. I watered today about 1.5-2 gallons per pot directly from the hose. Well water is 7.6 pH and about 50°F. #1 and #2 got topped today. #2 was topped in the evening at 6.30 p.m. I waited for it to get a little more space between the nodes, so there's a bit of stem above the node. This will help it to not split. Day 2 we had thunderstorms and rain in the morning followed by sunshine. The #3 plant was topped today. Day 3 we had lots of sunshine, temps in the mid 80's. That evening we had thunderstorms and rain which became severe that night. Hail was in the forecast but we missed it 🙏. I noticed the number 1 plant was growing crooked. I had moved the pots to get more sunlight and the one was uneven. I did some moving and adjusting today and hopefully it will straighten up. Day 4 we had rain in the morning followed by rain and thunderstorms intermittently into the night. Day 5 we had rains early morning and then cloudy most of the day. We have sunshine in the forecast for the weekend. 🙏🙏🙏 All pots were top dressed with 50ml of ferrous sulfate. Day 6 We had sunshine in the morning and afternoon. Clouds began to move in about 3.30p.m. Suddenly about 4:00 p.m. we had a severe thunderstorm that produced heavy rain and grape sized hail. Thankfully the hail only lasted a few minutes. There was some damage to this group, but only leaves. Day 7 we had sunshine, but cooler temperatures with highs reaching low to mid 70's. The plants began to show some Interveinal chlorosis in the new growth on day 5. I checked pH and it's above 7 in the pots. I added ferrous sulfate to counter this. On day 6 I noticed the #3 plant falling behind from receiving less direct sunlight. I've run out of space to accommodate the suns procession. I moved it to a better place for it to receive more sunlight. This week produced challenges. The topping was successful, but the position of the plants prevented some of them from receiving maximum direct sunlight. It took a few days to notice the affect on growth. We did not have much height gained this week. There was the issue with rising pH again, but this was promptly dealt with. We survived the challenging weather. Overall a successful week as lots of downward root growth was achieved. This will be evident next week as plants shoot up.

1️⃣2️⃣ Final Week Flower : 11/05 - 16/05 💡 Light schedule: 24 hours 📏 Lamp To Plant Distance: 60cm ⚡ Dimming: 100% 🌡️ Average temperature: 23,5° ☔ Average humidity: 60% ------------------------------------------------------------- Finally, we’ve reached the final week, and I think they'll be ready by May 16th. The remaining 14 days are reserved for drying. I decided to do one last defoliation, removing all the leaves that were too damaged and allowing the light to penetrate more deeply. There’s a mix of photos showing them before and after the defoliation. Speaking of light, last week I changed the cycle, and until the 16th, they'll be on 24/24 light—first time I'm trying this method instead of the usual 2 days of darkness. On the 16th, I'll take them out of the tent and snap the final photos. It hasn’t been an easy journey... Right at the start, during germination, while handling the pots, I dropped the light on top of them. I had to germinate a new seed, which became R03. Later, during the vegetative stage, I dropped the R02's pot, affecting her so much that she's now on the balcony and half the size of the others (to be fair, R01 and R03 grew so much that they completely took over the tent 😅). Then there was my excitement when preparing the soil, which ended up being a bit too hot with nutrients, causing both plants to yellow earlier than expected. I tried to correct this by watering without nutrients for a while; it didn’t help much, but I believe if I hadn’t done that, things would’ve been worse. Even with all that, they turned out to be big girls, with plenty of bud sites, and they’re now entering that final phase of fattening up.! Let’s see what they can do in these last 5 days! 💚 ----------------------------------------------------------------- #13/05/2025 I can already see some final improvements, hehe. I watered them one last time with 3.5L of plain water each, because on May 16th, or at the latest the 17th, it's time to cut and put them to dry for the remaining days of the contest. Everything is super tight around here, but we’re going to make it! 💪🏻 I'm thinking of doing a wet trimming when I cut the plants and put them to dry. This way, I can speed up the drying process and gain an extra day or two with them in the tent. 👨🏻‍🌾 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 16/05/25 I'm going to leave them for one more night, from the 16th to the 17th. Tomorrow they'll be chopped, and I'll create a week for the final photos before the harvest weeks with the dried buds! So, it took 12 weeks from seed to harvest. See you tomorrow 🤛🏻💚
