09/11/2019 Week # 6 of flowering, going to top dress with 1tbsp ditomacitious earth, and 1tbsp of garden gypsum. Last of any inputs she should have enough nutes to finish. Only 2-3 weeks to go !

Week 12

Beginning of week 6 and the start of flowering. Plants are growing rapidly and have recovered from the magnesium deficiency. All new growth is looking healthy and green.

This week the plant gets swapped to bloom nutes but no until the end of the week so the next week will reflect that set of nutrients. Sunday Res testing at 320ppm, 5.8 PH. Growth is looking great, with more tops forming near top node as plant is forced down. All new growth is deep green. The lower leaves are still spotted but have not progress nearly as much as they have been recently. Adjusted PH to 6.0 to help with calcium uptake. Monday Res ppm 320, 6.1 PH. Plants new growth is healthy. LST'd top node so newer lower nodes can catch up for a day or two. Plant is starting to smell. Will let it the plant correct itself, then perform res change by the end of the week, to swap to bloom. Tuesday Res: 320ppm 6.1 PH. Lower nodes have filled in more, top node has mostly corrected itself. Calcium deficiency has slowed greatly but still present want to give another day or two of recovery from lst then will do the res change. Removed lowest leaves. Wednesday Res: 320ppm 6.1 PH Plant growth is excellent. Largest leaf is slowly showing more calcium deficiency. Flushed and swapped to bloom, orca, silica, cal-mag. 450 ppm 6.2. moved leaves around and rearranged so lower nodes get more light. Thursday Res: 420 6.3 adjusted to 6.2. Plant and root growth are looking great. Friday Res: 420ppm 6.18 ph, adjusted to 6.25. Plant and roots are blowing up with some stretching beginning. Smell is intensifying but still no pistils, yet. Saturday Res: 470ppm 6.3 ph. She's filling out really well. Daily photos show just how quick everything happens.

11.05.24 So wie es aussieht, hat keine Thripse überlebt, die Behandlung mit BAC Vital hat geholfen, die Luftfeuchtigkeit konnte ich ein wenig höher halten, indem ich mehrmals am Tag Wasser versprühte. heute wurden die Damen in ihre 2 Liter Töpfe gepflanzt, dort können sie jetzt wachsen bis es in die 30 Liter Töpfe geht. es gab einen kräftigen schluck wasser mit Terra Aquatica Root Booster, Terra Aquatica Seaweed und Glückspilze Mykorrhiza Soluble. 12.05.24 Pflanzen haben das Umtopfen bisher super überstanden, sie zeigen keinerlei Stressreaktion, die Blätter stehen super gegen die Sonne. 13.05.24 Die Kleinen zeigen schon wieder ein starkes Wachstum, daher wurden sie heute mit der Pinzette getoppt, ich denke mal, dass sie nun die nächsten drei Tage den Stress abbauen und dann die unteren Triebe anfangen, nach oben zu wachsen. Da wir eine Fläche von 120x120 mit einem geschlossenen Kronendach bekommen wollen, ist es wichtig, dass die Kleinen frühzeitig in die Breite wachsen. 16.05.24 Pflanzen zeigen generell ein gutes Wachstum, trotz nicht passender Umgebung, die Temperatur und die Luftfeuchtigkeit sind zu hoch, an Besserung wird gearbeitet, aber die aktuellen Außentemperaturen machen es nicht leichter. Phänotyp 1 zeigt ein merkwürdiges Kräusel Wachstum, wächst aber trotzdem normal in Höhe und Breite, Phänotyp 2 zeigt sehr komische braune Flecken an den unteren großen Blättern, es scheint fast zu verbrennen und nekrose zu werden, ein Nährstoffmangel schließe ich aus da es allen anderen Pflanzen gut geht. Phänotyp 3 entwickelt sich bis jetzt vollkommen zu meiner Zufriedenheit.

Our White Widow is moving past simple hairs, now we can clearly see the beginnings of tiny buds forming. It’s the second big flower stage in her journey, and the structure is starting to express the true White Widow personality: compact, resinous, and promising. I took her out of the tent for another photoshoot, capturing her in detail with the Sony A6000. Close-ups show her leaves, structure, and those first clustered flowers. I also filmed short videos, including one where I share how I talk with my plants daily. For me, it’s not optional — it’s part of a symbiotic relationship. Plants respond to energy and care, and I believe everyone should try it. 🌱💭 ⸻ Light Strategy – Emerson Effect Simulation A special note this week: I recorded a screen video from the TrolMaster TM+ app to show how the lights are scheduled. 🌅 Wake-up: The reds switch on 15 minutes before the whites and blues. 🌇 Wind-down: At night, the reds also stay on 15 minutes longer than the other spectrums. This is designed to simulate sunrise and sunset while taking advantage of the Emerson Effect, a synergistic boost in photosynthesis efficiency when far-red and red light are combined with other wavelengths. The result? Plants wake up and settle down more naturally, with smoother light transitions, reduced stress, and potentially increased energy capture. It’s a small tweak, but it reflects how every detail of this environment is tuned with intention. ⸻ Environmental Changes This week, a big addition: the AC unit. Before, the room was running hot at 31–32°C and more, but now it’s stable at 28°C (occasionally 29°C). Combined with ~66% RH, this gives a steady VPD of 1.33, right in a comfortable zone for flower. CO₂ naturally fluctuates between 450–800 ppm, and the plants are thriving in these conditions. Even during the hotter weeks, they adapted beautifully, proof of the resilience of both the genetics and the environment we’ve been building. ⸻ Feeding & New Recipe Until now, she’s been on the Aptus base recipe: • Regulator – 0.15 ml/L • CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L This week, I introduced a Plagron trio to push flower development: • Power Buds – 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L • Green Sensation – 1 ml/L Why now? Because she’s transitioned from stretch to actual bud formation. Power Buds helps with compact flowering sites, Sugar Royal enhances metabolism and energy (especially under high light), and Green Sensation supports resin and bud swelling later on. Together with Aptus, it’s a blend of precision and experimentation, trusting experience, intuition, and past results. ⸻ 12/12 From Seed – A Quick Recap This run is about exploration: • Started from seeds, with early germination struggles (mistakes included, lessons learned). • This White Widow is the sole survivor of those early days. • Straight into 12/12 from seed, she grew compact and resilient, surprising us by taking her time to flower despite the cycle. • Now, at Week 6, we see her first true buds. Both are doing amazing, we’re cruising right now as I’ve slowly started dosing down the nutrients. The plants are looking well fed, all leaves are beautiful dark green, more towards a burn than any deficiencies! A nice fade is starting to kick in as well on both. I’ll be leaving on holiday upcoming week, and all the plants should be more than ready to harvest once I return! both pheno’s are incredibly icy, and smell super sweet and fruity. The buds truly look insane and I can’t stop looking at them 😍
