New Irrigation System – Mars Hydro Foldable Bucket Drip Kit This week, we also welcomed a new tool into the grow room: the Mars Hydro Drip Irrigation Kit (link here). 👉 Important note: I’m not running it on automation or timers. I will manually control it, plugging it in and off when watering. This way, I get the benefit of precise, even distribution, while keeping full hands-on control. What it is: • A bucket-based drip system that distributes water (or nutrient solution) evenly to multiple pots through adjustable drip emitters. • A way to reduce manual hand-pouring and ensure more consistent soil hydration. • A tool that can save root systems from “wet/dry pockets” that sometimes happen with hand-watering. What it is NOT: • It’s not fully automated irrigation (unless connected to timers or sensors). • It doesn’t make plant care “hands-free.” You still have to decide when and how much to water. • It won’t replace observation—plants still speak through their leaves and posture. What to Expect: ✅ More even watering across pots. ✅ Reduced runoff mess if dialed correctly. ✅ Less physical strain compared to hand-watering each plant. ✅ The chance to experiment with “precision irrigation” in future grows. What NOT to Expect (yet): ❌ Fully automated feeding schedules. ❌ Perfect calibration out of the box (it takes a few runs to dial flow rate for each pot). ❌ A substitute for plant observation—eyes on the canopy are still the most important tool. Educational takeaway: Drip systems are bridges between hand-watering and full automation. They give growers consistency without completely removing the grower’s role. For many, this is the sweet spot—technology supporting, not replacing, the human touch. P.S. #2 – Pheno #1 vs. Pheno #2: Different Timelines Another important note this week: the two Mango Kush sisters are not in the exact same stage of flower. • Pheno #1 – More advanced. She is already in full flower mode, pistils bursting, bud sites defined, white hairs everywhere. This is the classic “week 3 flower look.” • Pheno #2 – Slower. She is not yet fully in flower. Why? Because she was germinated later and is effectively running a slightly younger internal clock—closer to 11–13 from seed. 👉 With the 11/13 light schedule (11 hours on, 13 off), Pheno #2 is taking her time to settle into bloom. This is not a problem, it’s genetics and timing. Each seed is unique, and sometimes phenos stagger into flower. What this means for the grow: • Don’t expect both plants to bulk at the same time. • Pheno #1 may finish earlier. • Pheno #2 could become the “late bloomer,” giving us a longer harvest window and potentially different terpene expression. Educational takeaway: Not all phenotypes follow the same timeline, even under identical conditions. One may stretch earlier, another may flower later. In week 3 of flowering, the ladies suffered from nutrient deficiency. Due to vacations, they had SPA water only for a week. I immediately added nutrients to the water tank, with an EC of 1.8 I will also add green sensation starting this week. I also defoliated them, all the affected leaves are almost all gone.

Auch wenn es nicht immer einfach ist Bedingungen so optimal wie möglich zu halten, habe ich bei die Grow eine Menge dazu gelernt. 3 Pflanzen sind einfach zuviel für meine kleine Growbox, ich bekomme die Technik kaum unter. Auch das Gießen ist sehr mühsam 😞 Ich habe um jeden Zentimeter gekämpft und gebastelt um die Lampe so hoch wie noch irgendwie möglich zu bekommen. Nun zu den Pflanzen, diese entwickeln sich stetig, aber doch sichtbar und noch keine Trauermücken 😇 Das entlauben hat den Pflanzen wohl augenscheinlich nicht geschadet, dafür kommt besser Luft durch und alle Kraft geht nach oben.

Seems like last week of nutes and then directly into flushing. The buds are getting fat and trichs are starting to turn milky (like 5%) On 12/05 starting to see a lot of trichs turning milky, can't still see amber, but a good portion of them are still transparent

Over watered the wedding cake so I transplanted her into dry soil with food already in it but the food was 2 strong and burnt her so I quickly cut as many clones as I could (6) and trashed the rest of the plant so this grow is done but gonna replace this grow with a girl scout cookies got 2 of them so that's what's in the video there in fox farm ocean forrest soil they have not been fed yet growing kinda slow but looking very nice

Día 09. Segunda semana de crecimiento. La planta sigue creciendo a un buen ritmo. Ya pronto voy a agregar un bioestimulante de crecimiento y algunos microorganismos. Probablemente esta semana también haga la poda apical. Día 14. Le hice el corte apical el día 10. Ya está recuperada y creciendo. Por el momento mantengo la solución. Mañana seguro ya cambio y le agrego un bioestimulante de crecimiento. Aún no fui a buscar las bacterias, pero esta semana tengo que ir sin falta. Ya voy a ir preparando la parte de arriba para cuando lleguen los esquejes. Pero una vez que corte, tengo dos semanas de enraizamiento. Por lo cual todavía falta. Pero ya está todo encaminado.

UPDATE: Day 4 of week 8 Tuesday 13th October: More LST and defoliation today, pistils looking so lovely 😊! Nutes in as usual. Defo beginning to stretch so LST is proving a little tougher to do as the stems are getting much stronger now.. May have to abandon metal spikes and start tying down to the sides of the fabric pots. Things are moving much faster now and water intake in increasing too. Happy days! UPDATE: Day 6 of week 8 Thursday 15th Oct Nutes in and a little more LST. Really peeved as I bent the main stem a little too hard on one of the girls and she had a slight crease in the stem now 🤬... I hope this doesn’t affect her growth or that I loose the main cola.. But it’s too late to change it now so keeping my fingers crossed that she’s as hardy as a I think she is.. Only time will tell. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Enjoying this project immensely 😍❤️

This has been an amazing growth once again and I got to do the compound genetics like been wanting to for a year. This stuff is so decked out

I was really happy to complete this Grow , the smoke is delicious , I only did one more grow before which was also autos but didn’t turn so good I had bud rot and mildew so I usually buy my bush . I am as happy as a jackpot winner with this grow considering my experience and the results I gotta with this gang of Jacks . What’s next for me !!
