Hi all . This will be the last week of these girls now . They’ve both been flushing with RO water and I will continue that a couple more days before harvest . They are certainly ready and cannot wait to have the final result dryed and tasted . The smells from these girls is unreal . They have a strong fruity smell and are sticky as hell . It’s going to be messy when harvesting !. Couple more days flushing and I’ll give them the chop and hang to dry . I’ll update with a harvest once that’s done . 🌸 Week 3 Flower – Growing Strong, Tall, and Vibrant! 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! It’s already Week 3 in flower, and I’m thrilled to bring you this update because these plants are doing phenomenally well! Some are stretching up so tall that I might have to get creative in the coming weeks! Fruit production is well underway, and it’s absolutely amazing to watch the canopy fill out as these girls reach their potential. Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Hanging tight with this kiddo... If one thing is for certain, she is dedicated to her life as a bushy Betty. Having to so often defoliate has stressed this lady out. Despite that, she is surprisingly still hauling strong. I have to say, in my experience Fastbuds genetics really take a beating. My cycle with her goes something like, bush out, defoliate, stress, bounce back with full on bush, repeat.

Last week I thought that the 50cm distance between the light and the top of the canopy was ok. But this week, I get some signs of light burns on every plants and I decided to put it back to 60cm. This distance seems to work best for this grow. I think the Cashew Kush shows some slight signs of nitrogen deficiency so I added a bit of BioGrow (1ml/l) and hope it will help. For more info about the "Soil people", see week 9. As part of the "Tent-X Ultimate Grow Challenge" contest, I received a free Tent-X controller, a MBS-TH Humidity/temperature/light sensor and a LMA-14 light control adapter. I requested them on sunday and get them on thursday so it was super fast, thank you @TrolMaster_Europe ! 👌 ------------------------------- Controller + MBS-TH review ------------------------------- The Tent-X controller combined with the MBS-TH sensor provides information about temperature and humidity. The light detector of this sensor is used to trigger the day/night mode of the Tent-X controller but doesn't measure light intensity (you need another sensor for that). I've tried to connect the controller to the phone app and it seemed to work. I will not use this function because it requires to connect the controller to the internet with an Ethernet cable and I don't have an Ethernet plug in my grow room. I set-up a rudimentary fixation system to hang the controller and the sensor since I'm not growing in a tent, but it works haha. Now, I can make my measurement in the center of the canopy instead of making them just above the ground. ---------------------------------------- LMA-14 light control adapter review ---------------------------------------- This adapter allows you to control your light via a RJ45 cable. I'm not using it because my light and my fan are synchronized and my fan cannot be controled by a RJ45 cable. I don't want to have a timer for the fan and a controller for the light. I just use the timer for both. However, Trolmaster sells some plug sockets that can be controled by RJ45 cable so you can control everything with your Tent-X controller.

Vorblüten. Insgesamt wirken sie gesund, mit kräftig grünen Blättern und ohne Anzeichen von Mangel oder Stress. Die Beleuchtung läuft nun im 12/12-Zyklus. Der Abstand zur Lampe wird regelmäßig kontrolliert und angepasst, um Verbrennungen zu vermeiden. Die Temperaturen liegen tagsüber bei etwa 26 - 28 Grad, nachts bei 18–20 Grad. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit pendelt sich bei etwa 45 bis 50 Prozent ein. Die Pflanzen werden alle zwei bis drei Tage nach Bedarf gegossen. Diese Woche gab es die erste Gabe Blütedünger mit reduziertem Stickstoffanteil und mehr Phosphor und Kalium. EC- und pH-Werte liegen im optimalen Bereich. Ein Schädlingscheck verlief ohne Befund. Alles läuft reibungslos.

Harvest time

Herrrrro gang! Welcome to another week of Daank's grow! 8/2: Brought back the Great White. I was reading that it works well in conjunction with other root excelurators, like Rapid Start. I got 2 more temp/humidity sensors for the tent. It allows me to keep track of 100% of what is really going on, I find it to take away worry (b/c temps are very important!). Today was a "eureka!" moment in terms of understanding run-off pH and it's value to telling the grower how healthy the plant is and what nutes may, or may not, be needed. I also got some new LED glasses so I don't burn my fucking corneas when tending to the garden - they are phenomenal and I suggest them if you grow with an LED. Check the videos and photos. Pistils are growing rapidly and baby budlets are starting to form. I'm actually getting a nice subtle purple color - it's very neat. Today's run-off pH was 6.3, and I gave it 6.3 for water - so that's a good sign (I bounce the pH all around from 5.5-6.3). I'll keep track of this moving forward in the diary. Minor defoliation. ***Pro-Tip: If you're wondering what the run-off should be... around +.5/-.5 of what you put in is good. By the end of this week I assume we'll be in full swing. Day 39: I have ordered new nutes, Advanced Nutrients. The reviews, photos, and research all point to using this for the best results. I found them to be a bit expensive, but if I can always get perfect pH values without much of a hassle... I'm down. They will be here by end of the week and I'll transition that over this weekend. I can't wait. Day 40: 8/6 - Advanced Nutrient nutes arrive today. Watering will be a pleasure. The plants look great. The buds are real. Small smell. Trimmed last night quite a bit for bud production. They love George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". It perks 'em up.

both of my girls were very low in potassium... this mistake has been happening to me for a while now but I finally know the real reason :) she got CANNA kalium 2ml/L . and it seems that there are no more deteriorating leaves :)

Last day Light for the Lady.

Week 4 of the flowering phase has arrived, and last week flew by 🌬️🌱. The ladies are thriving, and the buds are now clearly visible! ✨ The flowers are starting to turn darker, which is an exciting sign 🍒. The first trichomes are already forming, hinting at a very potent strain 💎🔥. While the cherry aroma hasn’t come through yet, removing some leaves revealed an intense, waxy scent – very intriguing! 🌿👃 I’ll keep you updated with daily posts.
