another uneventful week. the girl is still creating nodes like crazy ... she is growing sideways rather than rushing for the lights. i raised the lights higher to about 12" from the top of the leaves. i also changed the nutrients from a seedling recipe to an early growth stage recipe that is richer in nitrogen with a higher ec 1.2. i also got to see the roots for the first time, they are looking really nice - white and fuzzy. i made the main nutrient tank more permanent and relocated the used nutrient and fresh nutrient tanks in their own chamber so, it's even easier to do manual nutrient changes (1 container in and 1 container out sort thing). later on, in the week, i noticed the main roots showing a little discoloration, not sure if i should be concerned about this, but she looks healthy.. it was fun using the doser again as i really hate mixing chem's since my days in chemistry labs. looking forward to new aggressive growth this week.

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we have lots of sunshine and temperatures in the mid 80's F. I watered today about 1.5-2 gallons per pot directly from the hose. Well water is 7.6 pH and about 50°F. #1 and #2 got topped today. #2 was topped in the evening at 6.30 p.m. I waited for it to get a little more space between the nodes, so there's a bit of stem above the node. This will help it to not split. Day 2 we had thunderstorms and rain in the morning followed by sunshine. The #3 plant was topped today. Day 3 we had lots of sunshine, temps in the mid 80's. That evening we had thunderstorms and rain which became severe that night. Hail was in the forecast but we missed it 🙏. I noticed the number 1 plant was growing crooked. I had moved the pots to get more sunlight and the one was uneven. I did some moving and adjusting today and hopefully it will straighten up. Day 4 we had rain in the morning followed by rain and thunderstorms intermittently into the night. Day 5 we had rains early morning and then cloudy most of the day. We have sunshine in the forecast for the weekend. 🙏🙏🙏 All pots were top dressed with 50ml of ferrous sulfate. Day 6 We had sunshine in the morning and afternoon. Clouds began to move in about 3.30p.m. Suddenly about 4:00 p.m. we had a severe thunderstorm that produced heavy rain and grape sized hail. Thankfully the hail only lasted a few minutes. There was some damage to this group, but only leaves. Day 7 we had sunshine, but cooler temperatures with highs reaching low to mid 70's. The plants began to show some Interveinal chlorosis in the new growth on day 5. I checked pH and it's above 7 in the pots. I added ferrous sulfate to counter this. On day 6 I noticed the #3 plant falling behind from receiving less direct sunlight. I've run out of space to accommodate the suns procession. I moved it to a better place for it to receive more sunlight. This week produced challenges. The topping was successful, but the position of the plants prevented some of them from receiving maximum direct sunlight. It took a few days to notice the affect on growth. We did not have much height gained this week. There was the issue with rising pH again, but this was promptly dealt with. We survived the challenging weather. Overall a successful week as lots of downward root growth was achieved. This will be evident next week as plants shoot up.

Well it been a week since the move indoors and she is just getting accustomed to the new surroundings. Things took a couple days pause and had no growth for the first few days but she seems to have finally started to fatten up her flowers again. She is drinking about a third less water than before but maybe that will pick up some more as well since her flowers are getting bigger. She is pretty sparse in terms of vegetation so will only remove leaves on a must need basis only. Watered her this morning and she received a low dose of calmag and bloom nutrients ( King Kola) by Emerald Harvest so should see an increase in flower size shortly. Have been increasing the duration of light each night and am currently at 18/6 have been toying with the idea of going to 20/4 and beyond to get the DLI up into flowering requirements. We are stuck at 450 PPFD so I don’t think I can her too many hours of light per day. I will be watering the other two girls later today with a update for them also.

********* Week 7 - January 20 to 26, 2020 (Days 43 to 49 from seed popping) She is taking shape more this week by getting taller colas and thinning out between nodes.......oh yeah, and fattening of buds😜😎 It was also not without learning though and thats what is so cool about growing this plant.......you always seem to leave a grow feeling like you could do even better next time and therefore challenging yourself to do better......and have bowl while doing it😂 Her nodes are getting taller and giving herself room for packing on weighty buds👍 If left to one cola should be a fatty!!! But then I would be freaking about potential bud-rot....so I am cool with it. Since LST though it will be interesting to see how well she fills in six😳 She has the makings of being a good producer......its up to the grower to now to keep her happy😬 and see if she packs on the weight with roughly three more full weeks to go?? Missed opportunities in CalMag showing.😰 Left a lot of leaves and two branches that should have removed. Potassium excess contributed to by grower learning Terpinator and Massive.😰 Main stem should have been a little lower......further opportunity to improve👍💪 Got a little crazy with the PPM and felt I knew more than the nutrient company and went above the recommended max by roughly 30%😰😎😭 Yeah.......dummy! My defence.....1300 isn’t too high for Advanced Nutrients in late flower😃😃 Anyway, I screwed up and saw tip burn in week 7. Gave a quick little flush with RO water and Sensyzime to clean up the roots of the salts. Didn’t get crazy though because it was just the top leaves burnt. Been building the medium up to this point so don’t want to wash it all away just yet. She seemed to react well and nodes standing up and didn’t show much outwardly as signs of overwatering😬 Reviewing some of the photos this week I have seen the first small parts of a few hairs drying and turning colour.......no full hairs and not on every bud but enough to say they are first ones.......three more weeks?? Curious.....time will tell.....seen Jan 26, day 49. (49 + 21 = 70.......makes sense.) Feed will stop next week.....by end of my week 8. In the week a head there will be the last push to get her medium in as good a shape as my skills will warrant. I want to get a good 10 + days of flush to see her in the beauty of senescence and how she matures. Run-off has been reasonable so will keep fingers crossed 😄🤞 Little more detail.... Jan 20/20 - Day 43 - Drinking lots right now, close to 4L per day, so 2L plain water only in AM. 6.2pH,. - Feed in PM was light as well. Sensyzime @ 2ml and LW8 & Rezin @ 1.5ml only. 2L given with 75ppm. 5.9pH - She was given a good feeding yesterday. - Buds sites looking taller. Jan 21/20 - Day 44 - AM - 3L with Dual Fual A&B @ 1.5ml/L. 725ppm and 5.9pH. - PM hit her again - full feeding minus Rhino Skin, Sensyzime and Vitrathrive and VeloKelp. 2.5L 1000ppm and 5.9pH. - Runoff - 950ppm and 5.6pH. - top leaves were droopy so the extra feeding in the evening. Jan 22/20 - Day 45 - Backing off quantity a bit and down to 3L feed in PM. - Mass & Terp @ 3ml, Rezin & LW8 & DF @ 1.5ml, CalMag @ 0.5ml = 1300ppm - Very perky today....standing up all the way down the plant. Liked the feed yesterday. ******this was likely the mistake feed looking back********left the ppm too high and should have added in RO water to bring down around 1000ppm! At least it seems traceable and will go with that😀 Jan 23/20 - Day 46 - Supplemental feeding only today. Happy so don't rock the boat :) - Sensyzime @ 2ml, LW8 & Rezin @ 1.5ml = 80ppm 6.1pH - 2L only today.....still some weight to the pot Jan 24/20 - Day 47 - 2L feed: Massive @ 2ml, DF & LW8 & Rezin @ 1.5ml = 925ppm 6.2pH - Nute burn on Green Poison but Zkittlez seems fine and she is fine. Maybe a slight lightening on a few tips.... - happy and praying in the evening. Jan 25/20 - Day 48 - 4L of full strength feeding for this week. - ppm for that was 1275 so watered down to 1100ppm.....only need 1ml of base nutes at full strength to hit roughly 1,000ppm. - Runoff: 900ppm & 6.05pH....happy with that. - she is 28” x 28” now - Her cola growth was strong, taller for each of the 6 She is in fattening mode….feed her 😀 Jan 26/20 - Day 49 - So no surprise when you push a girl you find her limit. Tips burnt this morning.😥😔 - 6L plain RO water pH to 6.2 - Followed right away with 2L RO water with Sensyzime @ 2ml/L. - Runoff: 465ppm. - She responded very well to this and all tips were up still in the evening.....no over watering signs. - Removed about 15 fan leaves and 4 lower bud sites. - guessing only another 1.5 weeks of feeding. - not falling to sleep an hour before lights out anymore either😀 Happy growing fellow enthusiasts and thanks for the time to read🙏🙏 (scrolling back through diary to update........damn.......that is a lot of bottles during these weeks!! On day 1 the rez is at 6.2. The highest cola is 8.5" from the light. On day 2 the rez is at 6.2. The highest cola is 7.75" from the light. On day 3 the rez is at 6.1. The highest cola is 7.5" from the light. On day 4 the rez is at 6.3. The highest cola is 7.125" from the light. On day 5 the plants are smelling and doing well. On day 6 I changed out the rez and PH to 6.1. The highest cola is 7" from grow light stretch is deff slowing down and should be over shortly. My avg PPFD at canopy is around 800. On day 7 the rez ph is 6.0. The highest cola is still 7" away from light 😅 close but not too close in my small space.

All in all I am quite happy with how things turned out. I got to use the short days to grow a photoperiod. This was not planed though, since it was packaged as a Skunk Auto. I think its Lemon Orange. Saw it grow before and it really looks the same. Smell is also in the neighbourhood After drying I saw that almost everything was modly. Had to throw almost the whole plant away. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Set up cost (fixed costs) -Lamp: 40€ -Timer: 3,5€ -Pot: 4€ -Total fixed costs: 47,5€ Given 5 years (or 15 grows) usage time translates to around 3,17€ per grow in materials. this week buds getting fat. everything as usual. end of this week gonna give second compost tee. buds are sticky some areas hard to reach therefore impossible to defoliate. I love growing forest.

My first grow ever don’t control the stretch so i don’t have the choice the higher bud is nearly touching the light , try to do better to the next grow ... sorry for my bad english i come feom reunion island so is not so easy for me to explain my grow but i do of my best to show you the result of lemon skunk in reunion island with tropical temperature around 27-29• the day and 23-26 degree the night

Trasplanted second Strawberry Cough in bigger 10 gal pot which I regret later on cause watering is hard to dial in but she is recovering slowly. I will keep her in veg longer.

Overall extremely happy, best yield in this tent and also best average plant yield. Girl crush forever.

Week 6 - Veg - her nutes have been upped to 2ml of grow, micro and bloom and feeding every 3rd day now.

Impressive how this plant managed to grow despite the few hours of light .. I guess what it could do with a better season than this year (there has been a lot of rains) and in a place where it grows with constant light.. anyway I am very happy with her, I would also say proud of how the growth went. In the last few weeks, as you can see, the plant has suffered an attack by caterpillars that have eaten some of its leaves in a short time, the plant has remained very strong anyway. I tried to remove them manually until they disappeared completely Before proceeding with the cut, I put the plant in the dark for 48 hours, further stressing it by shocking the roots with ice cubes. I've never used these two methods, but I've heard a lot about them. some say it is useless while others say that these methods work to increase the production of trichomes and terpenes. Made the flip to flower to start this week. Did a bunch of lst to get the side branches booming for the Scrog. Put a second net right above her to start things off spacing and structre wise. Second she starts to stretch its scrog game on! Got her on a well balanced diet to support her transition period. Can't wait to see her explode and take off! Start rowing me out some colas! She’s just flipping over to flower now — I wasn’t sure weather I would top the plant... but I decided to this one time just in the edge of flower — didn’t want to do it earlier to avoid inducing flower

Por dónde empiezo, fue una variedad que me resultó complicada cultivar y a nada que alimentada lo marcaba las flores son bien compactas y van llenas de resina, tienen tonos verdes bonitos, y tiene unos aromas afrutados bastante marcados con toques citricos. Es muy complicada a mi parecer, es de ciclo de 2 meses y medio, pero bien agradecida aún así. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

15 seeds germinated. 100% success rate. Seeds have been planted in a mix that has volcano ash and bat guano. The mix gets the seeds off to a great start without the worry of adding nutrients. Over the next few days they'll receive water twice a day. We water about 100ml at a time 3x a day. We water in circular motion to encourage the roots to grow out.
