Commencing Week 10 - 2nd week of flowering - Day 64 from germination - Day 14 of 12/12 on December 26th All is awesome! 😁 Although all plants have hairs right now, 818#1&2, BH2, & GZ2 (especially 818s) seem to start throwing hairs just a few days before the rest. RD is stretching out rather nicely and is working in sync to make a nice level and full canopy. Have noticed the pH of the nutrient solution now swings very low with every plant, especially the bigger ones, within 24 hrs going from 5.8 down to 3.8-4.3. I pH back up accordingly every day. Lastly I decided to go with "bonsai" training instead of topping. (This is in order to keep plants growing at a steady pace - non-stunting - while taking away the apical shape that is natural for some strains.). I "bonsai'd" The following: GZ1&2&3, AND 818#1. Simply put I coiled bonsai wire around the main cola and bent below the next lowest node /tier (see photos) The other s: RD, BH 1&2, and 818#2 have a natural level/close to level shape. D.65/15 Started tucking leaves and light stress training. So far I have taken only 3-4 leaves off per plant. And other than coiled the Apex cola they are been untouched. Also to balance out the pH drop, I have been pHing to the 6.0-6.2 range. Seems to steady the solution better so I will continue. Lastly I have put both the fans and the oxygen pumps on a 15m on 15 m off interval throughout the 24 hr day. I thought it might be risky however the plants seem not to mind, rather maybe even like this better. D.69/19 Yesterday I added a tiny bit of bloom food high in phosphate to help with the flowering since it's picking up now, as well as some extra Cal Mag and the plants seem happier because of it. And I have still been putting the pH a little higher, in the 6.1 range, rather than a 5.8 since it seems to be dipping low every time I check rather than going up. Also I put these pumps back on 24 hrs per day because after two days of being on for 12 hours her day they seemed not as happy as they were prior. Lesson learned with that one no harm done so that's a good thing. The raspberry diesel is really taking up the space wonderfully in between the four plants in the corners and is becoming almost + shaped really filling in the canopy just like the description online says don't vegfor long because the flower phase stretch is something to behold. 818 headband number one has a really beautiful medium sized stature not too short but not tall and lanky either and tons of Bud sites and is looking the most bud-filled already whether that means it will have the most yield or be done the fastest, or both we'll have to wait and see., All three of the Gorilla Zkittles seem to have slightly different phenotype variation one a little bit more sativa than the other two that are more hybrid looking. All 3 have very different root masses compared to the rest of the plants and are pretty big but one in particular is absolutely huge. (Comparisons will be posted in next week's update.) the Boss hogs also seem to have very different phenotype expressions as of now one is staying much more short and having a very level canopy naturally and no hairs, while the other is close to a level canopy but still has a little bit of that main cola dominant feature as well as a lot more hairs. Things are going well this past week GG#1 still suffering a little big from my mess up but over all she seems to be doing ok . The leaves on both GG#1 and GG#2 are both starting to gain some colour now they are starting to get purple around the edges of the leaves so pretty soon Im going to have some extra pretty looking plants !! :D :D :D Things are going to take roughly 1 week longer then I thought originally but thats fine ! Things are going very well for Obi#2 . She's come a very long way and shes sure showing her ability to endure this nub grower :P :P :) Over all her flowers are swelling up nicely no major signs of stresses or anything like that shes just growing and doing her thing . She smells very pungent I really enjoy the smell . I'm excited to see what the next few weeks are going to be like ! A special thank you goes out to all the people who stop by the diary ! From week 2 to 3 in flower the plant took off and almost shot itself into the light overnight. Upped the bloom nutrients to 36, interested to see how the plants handle it. I have maxed the height in the tent, reflector is on the top of the tent and the plants are 20 to 24cm away. Can't do much about the height so managing the heat between the bulb and plants.

Getting ready to chop her down today. She's been in the dark a few days now...what a beast tho. Not sure ill be able to trim her entire plant and hang whole due to how big she is.. Update: Harvest complete. 2#8oz. She did foxtail on me, but I guess that's what happens when you let her grow and grow 😆. She's a huge unruly Medusa.. I expected nothing less!! Lol 😂😂00

Both girls are frosty but only 1 is showing the reds.. Funny how that is with these autos 😂😂😒 .. I still love how they are structured. Enjoy the video.. And thanks for checking her out!

I’m baaaaack!!! Sorry I’ve been away for a while. I’ve been busy getting everything together for the next phase… Welcome to the Dude Garden 2.0! I now have 3 grow areas. Two 2x4 tents (one for clone/veg, another for mothers) and a large 10x12’ish flowering area (its actually larger than that, but I’ll be conservative). The tents are running 300w LED’s and a T5 for the cloning/sprouting station. The flowering area has a 1000w HPS!!! I’m totally psyched to see how the HPS does with flowering for me. From all the research I’ve done It seems to still be undisputed that HPS is the best for flowering (but not so good on the electric bill). I moved all plants from the tents to the new flowering area under HPS. That includes 3 Blackberry’s (FastBuds), NYC Diesel Auto (Barney’s Farm), DinaMed+ and Critical+ (DinaFem), Cream & Cheese CBD (Seedsman) and 3 Cherry Hemp (Elevator Supply Co). With the autos You’ll see the first 2 Blackberry’s are getting close to harvest, but looking a bit funky due to the issues they had early on as seedlings. The 3rd is looking much better and will probably yield more than the first 2 combined. I do love the purple and the aroma is insane. The NYC Diesel Auto is looking very nice, the main cola is developing nicely and has great colors. With the photoperiod plants, most are already kind of big considering they haven’t flipped to flower yet. I’m expecting the stretch to kick in at any time for these girls. I hope they don’t break the roof. The Dinafem plants are looking best so far at this stage IMO, but the Cream & Cheese CBD is looking very nice too. And I’m not disappointed at all with the Cherry Hemp plants, one is several weeks older than the other two, but the smaller two have a great node structure. It should be very interesting to see how these 3 grow from here. I expect the older one to be the largest at harvest, but the 2 little girls look ready to explode. We’ll see what happens. I transplanted the photos from the 3 gallon grow bags to 7 gallon fabric pots. And also purchased some Pot Elevators that they are sitting on. The Plant Elevators are pretty cool, they have a mesh base to allow better drainage and air flow to the bottom of the pots. I have clones of all of the photos cut and planted in Jiffy pellets in a humidity dome. I took 3 clones of each. The strongest clones will become mothers, the others will be grown out. Note: The HPS gives much more of a yellow wash on the pics than I was expecting. I tried to color correct the pics the best I could and tried to get to the real colors, It should be pretty close.

They are both growing good.. Some issues with the runt leaves.. They are showing signs of deficiency but I've given mostly cal mag water 💦 to her. The video shows how frosty main witch is, wow.

Plants have really picked up on the vertical growth this week. I topped and tied a few more branches down. Some of the lower 5 fingered fan leaves on the GG4xZ have doubled the size of my hand!

Merry Christmas Everyone ! Flo +50 : I see snow everywhere ^^ small buds have 100% milky trichomes but the big one still have translucid trichomes so i guess i have to wait another week ( or 2 ) before start flushing.

Astounded by just how good this genetic is. FastBuds really hit the nail on the head with it. Smell is delicious and it's now at the point where I open the zips on the tent even an inch the stink just hits you. 3 weeks flowering and the main colas are thicker than any finished buds I've ever seen. The two phenos are still very much different but very similar in smell. The taller one has colas twice the lenght but half the thickness. I'm predicting these will be ready to chop down right around my birthday!!! Would be a sweet gift!
