Loking forward to the bloom part now plant is showing some promise

Big week! Put the net up and really have been defoliating and training to bush her out! So far she responds amazingly well to the training, growing inches a day curving back towards the light! :) She’s really up taking water now, 2 gallons a feed with barely any runoff now, and she’s nearly dry by the end of day 2, so she’s thirsty! Very excited to even the canopy out and switch the lights :) a couple weeks left! I took 10 cuttings this week as well to try my hand at cloning, so far they are doing alright, at the time of posting they are 5 days cut. Strain is supposed to be ~65 day flower, so half done!

Did a reservoir change. Still smells like a bucket of berries. Values are average of the day. we just finished 2 weeks are are going into the 3 week. These ladies can EAT!! 1,000 ppm’s and no issues..looks like I have to up the ppm’s for bloom phase 4 out of the 5 are doing GREAT. The 5th one is having issues and I know it’s the media I am using. I had a different brand of soil for 1 of the banana MAC’s and it freaking SUCKS!! I am amending with Iron-Tone by Espoma to get the green back and it has some cal-mag also with sulpher ( hits all suspect deficiencies). The other 4 are in Mother Earth soil which I have had zero issues with. I will be sticking with Mother Earth for awhile. 11/6 Potassium deficiency in the banana MAC’s…kinda of a good sign. Let’s me know the plant is going into bloom phase and it’s time to change the ratios from 1:1:1 to 1:3:2. The 1:3:2 is flower girl 1 week and fish bone meal with Langbeinite the other week. I will alternate between the two for 4 weeks. Tuesday ( 11/8) will mark 3 weeks. I did defoliation and lollipoping today. This is the second one I have done ( I do the first one the week before flipping).

Other than battling some bud rot on both the Mimosa x orange punch plants are doing good. I've just been cutting a couple buds with very start of rot im going to harvest the mop#1 next weekend and the mop #2 the weekend after. The buds are getting big and the trics are super sticky and frosty. I'm just starting to see some amber trics on the mop #1. I've been reducing the ferts slightly on all the mop #1 had its last fertilizer 8 days ago. I've made a canopy for the plants for when it rains as every time it rains i get more rot no matter what i do I've tried shaking them blowing lightly with a leaf blower. But its too be expected with strains that produce big heavy buds.

Week 10 is over, the girl is definitely not the most beautiful in general appearance, but I can safely say that her aroma is one of the most delicious to my nose, it is a really sweet smell, I think she is already counting the last days of her life, although I will try to keep her while she is still green :) Yes, in this growth I probably made a mistake by giving her Advancet Nutriens Macro, and before that she was using Biotabs, Lesson for me - Use only one Manufacturer :) the flowers are full of sticky trichomes :) Good luck to everyone.

So welcome to Week 9 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Autoflowering grow! Unfortunately after two years of due diligence- I was finally infected with Covid 19 so I have gotten really behind with this diary. In Week 7, I switched from the Grow to the Bloom fertilizer at a rate of 2.5 mls per gallon. I am still watering every 4th day at 3 litres per plant or 0.75 of a litre per day per plant. This strain seems particularly hungry/greedy so by the end of Week 7, I’ve decided to fertilize with every watering instead of every other. I’m not increasing the dosage of the fertilizer but the frequency in which it’s being given. Other than that the plants are doing fine through Weeks 7, 8 & 9 with the buds fattening up nicely, loads of wet to the touch resin and a super strong smell emanating from the tent even when it’s closed! That’s it for the past three weeks, Covid sucks and thank goodness harvest is just around the corner! Apologies for not offering up any further "mom’s tip of the week" but I’m just finishing up this diary for kicks at this point. Thanks.

He who stops is lost, as an old saying goes I don't know exactly what the origins are, so here's a new Zamnesia season. We are in the middle of winter and despite growing in an area that isn't the warmest in Europe, it's really cold now. It's 16-18 degrees Celsius in the house and we need to bring the temperature of the propagator growbox between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. So we first placed a layer of those 1 cm thick "rubberized" floors that are used for gyms, they are easily found on Amazon and are very useful for insulation. Then a heated resistance mat and then the closed propagator on top. Inside with our seedlings and the light on at minimum 20% we reached 24 degrees, not bad in fact the germination is proceeding very well. 100% opening of the seeds in water and almost all of them are opening in our biodegradable peat pots. ----- Our Purple Urke have started, really smooth as silk, no problems with the placenta, it's there nice and straight going towards the light, we trust you a lot baby! It's like most purples, an Indica predominance. WARNING: Placenta Problems ---- ALWAYS look very carefully at the seedlings, if the seed or the placenta prevent the opening of the cotyledon leaves the plant dies after a while. Remove it delicately as if it were a condom or almost. I apologize for the example but it gives the idea, remove slowly and delicately please. WARNING: If you choose biodegradable pots, choose the largest possible ones and not paper/cardboard ones, there is peat which is the main component of most of the soils we use. If you want to avoid transmitting vibrations to the neighbors I recommend you install one of these gym floors under your growboxes, I did it and I also feel safer not to disturb. They are easily found on Amazon in different thicknesses, I took a gym model that is assembled like a puzzle, they are also found in children's shops, they are those floors that are assembled to make children play safely, or to train and to avoid vibrations of the equipment or of any kind. This is round 1. just a rough draft. Next round ill try more lollipopping and then less amongst other things.

This is the 2nd MSNL strain I have tried and the genetics are great. She got the longest time in the tent as she is a standard photoperiod and the rest of the grow where fast flowering photoperiods. I trimmed her after 16 days of drying and got 35g of decent buds and 9g of ok buds. Power used for whole grow in 114 days. Lights=201.7Kw (201.7×0.25)(=£50.42) Rad=212.23kw (212.23×0.25)(=£53.05) 201.7÷114=1.769kw per day light average. Average 100w for veg Average 150w for flower. Light average for grow 125w.
