This week they hung out of the tent to catch some natural sunlight ☀️ Fast and steady growth keeps increasing, with Bruce being the clear standout. Extra bushy and huge, huge leaves! Very impressed by her structure at such a young age. Curious to see her evolution. Sherbet is also on a very good track, can barely tell she had an issue to begin with. Biscotti also going strong. Let’s keep it going 🚀

I started topping the plants to enhance branch growth to increase tops. The weather has been decent but hazy from the Canadian wildfires. Growth is vigorous.

DAY63 WEEK9 = Impatiently waiting till harvest time 😘 Beautiful to enjoy the plants ripening and finishing 😍😍😍 Congrats to BIOTABS, because their tablest are really superb 🙏 I'm super satisfied 😁😁😁 Wedding Gelato, Triple G, and Cookies Gelato are completely ripe.👍😃 All their buds are rockhard 💪😖 👉 Cookies Gelato have become completely purple with beautiful piled buds and orange pistils, and looks delicious. Smells of berries and 😵 👉 Wedding Gelato has round buds (easy to trim) with mixed colors : gold, brass, brown, yellow, red and green colors with orange pistils 😊 Fine and accessible smell, pleasant and no overbearing 😄 🙏 👉 Triple G will be the hardest to trim, because of her quirky shaped buds. She has big internodes and big buds scattered across her tall sturdy stalks. Beautiful buds, a pleasure for the eyes. Her smell is pungent, sometimes narcotic even. She will get you stoned in no time 😋 👉 Liberty Haze could have another week. But she lacks some nitrogen; watch her leaves turn yellow, and make her taste sooo soft 👻 She hasn't any purple or red colors, only green and yellow. Her buds are leafy, not that firm, but volumineus. She's soo sweet, with hints of lime. 😘 I defoliated the plants in week 3 because I had to treat the plants against spider mites. Because of this, the plants had fewer leaves, the light could penetrate much deeper and now the lower buds are ripen as well 🙏. Flush week is here! Or was here lol. I was behind on my journal's and I've actually already chopped the girls (pics included) and will update soon with a harvest week as soon as they are finished hang drying. The trichomes were cloudy white with roughly 20-30% amber trichomes and some wonderful terp aromas from each. 100K has a smell and taste (we sampled a bud dried in a paper bag, was fantastic) has a similarity to Slapz from the same release and it is honestly a great flavor and aroma to have. She also has hints of nutty earthiness underneath from her White Truffles and they blend well together. Grandaddy's terps vary going down her branches so far. At the top her grapey berry aroma is dominant where as the lower buds are more heavily of flowers (violets, i agree with leafly on that aroma description for GDP) with hints of the berries. A sample from a paper bag was mostly of violet flowers and smoke smooth with a deep relaxing high. Better info to come with the harvest week update! Plants were left in 48 hours of darkness with attention to airflower kept to prevent mold Our drying set up: The tent light is off, with oscillating fan removed. Only an intake was left on the bottom (removed oscillating fan after 1st day was too much) with a small monkey fan pointed across to keep it moving along the floor, with the exhaust running up top to keep even airflow around the buds. I'm trying to avoid any direct airflow on the buds. The trellis net is lifted to the top of the tent, to hang the branches from easily with plant wire. Our drying conditions: The branches are hung individually after snipping off larger fan / water leaves, we try to leave some of the smaller leaves to help protect the buds and their terpenes. Our environment we try to keep in the mid to low 60s, but never higher than 68 (I prefer 66 degrees farenheit) and the humidity we keep around 60 to 60% but no higher, and preferably never lower. This is to protect the terpenes and cannabinoids from evaporating due to heat or dry conditions. I changed to this method after some research and owe the idea on temps and humidity to Matt from Mr Canucks Grow on Youtube, it's a more recent video of his from within the past year and was very informative.

Method 📊📊📊 She trained incredibly well and recovered faster from topping than the NL did to a fim. This grow was a slightly different take on a traditional manifold leaving the top growth tips from each 2nd node (first topping) in place. This gave us 10 main colas as opposed to eight and we also left in a few extra shoots which proved to yield just that little bit extra.😉. If we had the space we would’ve stuck with 8 monster colas. Instead, we tried to squeeze usable bud out of every square inch. Maintenance was a bit of a bitch - had to defo numerous times to keep the light penetration optimal. Which brings us to the grow light - I won’t say it was ineffective cause that’s just not true. But, if this one had gotten much bigger we’d have seen some serious diminishing returns in bud quality. The tops and middles of each 10-12” cola were dense and chunky but the lower buds on the outer branches were like giant fluffy larf pillows. Thankfully there weren’t too many of these and I might’ve been able to solve this issue with some yo-yo’s if I wasn’t so damn lazy and “😜” when work’n on the garden. So, grow light review now that we’re through a few cycles - vipar spectra gets a 6/10 from me. It will grow solid, quality bud but certainly has its limitations. Their manual says it’s 450w should cover a space roughly twice the size of mine. I disagree and actual wattage draw is more like 200w. I’m gonna try to stick to photoperiod SCROGs with it in the future. Only real way to max out it’s effectiveness. Big plus - it’s about perfect for this particular space: 1:. Medium 🎛️🎛️🎛️🎛️ Coco is now the go-to medium in lieu of soil when we grow indoors. I can’t specifically say that the growth time is sped up compared to soil because I’m always growing something different but - she did recover very quickly from her toppings and the drainage is wayyyyy better. The fact that it’s nute neutral allows us to dictate exactly what the plant receives at all times. IMO - more manageable and precise than soil. Include a regular diet of calmag and ur good to grow.: 1: Yield🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴 Oh man what a gong show😎. The book on this one says that you’ll end up having to add support for her as bud weight becomes a serious issue in late flower. RQS is absolutely right, I had three smaller colas on the perimeter stretch for the last corner of light and they just got weighed down by the bud and pretty much fell over😂. We like this. Now the numbers - i did the math twice (and while sober just to make sure😉), you don’t wanna do it, it sucked, so you’ll just have to trust me: 1:. Total dried yield for the kush alone: 3.32oz. This crushes the single plant yield for any strain grown in this cabinet to date by well over an 1oz. : 1:😎. Total harvest yield across both plants: 4.99oz. This also crushes the record yield per cycle in the cabinet by a full ounce!: 1:😎👌💪🤩. The stats say an avg. of 500-550g/m2. Based on the rough size of my cabinet the avg. should be 131.25g/0.25m2.... our actual harvest across both strains - 140.6/0.28m2. That’s pretty damn good and spot on with the specs: 1:.😎 Props👊👊👊👊👊 A great many thanks to everyone who stopped in and cared to take some interest in this cycle. Im thinking Im going to flip the switch in the next day or 2 here so I dont run out of room. I'm watering both of these plants 1 gallon ever 2 days. They're starting to build up!! As an overview You can see from the pictures that both are dealing with a little bit of heat stress. They are in a tent where all other plans love it hot and the temperatures are in the low eighties. if you look at the top leaves you can see canoeing my guess is it's heat. Other than that they're doing great #1 has shot up she stands nearly 12" tall now. this is the plant that we are letting grow completely natural no topping, No training. #2 on the other hand stands almost 8" tall and is much bushier, thicker, and squatter. You can see clearly in the video that we topped her and also are employing some low stress training to tie down her lower branches. both plants are beautiful and doing great! I expect #1 will be transplanted this week sometime #1 is 15" from the light #2 is 25" from it. Day 30: quickly measured because it looked like they grew a bit since watering Thursday. Definitely have too! #2 has easy gone up an inch. #1 is close to the limit of her pot I think.they both have asymmetrical growth 🤨 each have a branch on one side much taller than the other sides so I have begun rotating them daily to help light penetration. Day 31: Today I transplanted #1 she was in a 1Gal nursery pot for 31 day and starting to show some issues. I moved her into a 10x10 square nursery pot. Approximately 3gals. From here she will go into a 10Gal for flower in about 6 weeks!(I'm letting them get some size)Very faint yellowing of the leaves and needing to be watered daily. Attached is a video, showcasing her roots. Idk why, but everytime I transplant they look like the video. Everyone else seems to have an insane amount of roots.🤷‍♂️ #1s roots are some of the thickest I've seen tho, a regular tree! I transplanted using real growers recharge. These are such easy plants!! They need and want nothing! Water them once every 48 hrs or so and that's it! Works out to be 3 weeks in the small 3 weeks in the medium then she goes into a 12gal for flower. Hello to you from Russia, my friends from around the world. I thank all those who follow my progress and support me. Good luck! It's time to update my 13-week diary. I plan to make a harvest in a week, the plants are already fully talking about their ripeness. In General, things are going well for me, but due to weather conditions, the trip to the guerrilla cannabis plantations is postponed indefinitely. But I don't have to water them. Soon I plan on growing a new diary when the postal service delivers me new seeds and fertilizers for clones.

Day 37 - Slight stretch allowed be to pull down the top and allow other heads to obtain more light. Day 39 - Finally defoliated to allow air flow and space for the bud sites to eventually stretch upward in order to LST hopefully at the latest after this weekend. I’m not worried as she only started showing signs of pistils recently, give or take a week. Day 42 - End week - see Week 7 as a result of defoliation and LST

Starting to really fill out smell is 6/10 so far very sweet some pine as well
