As the plant enters the fifth week of flowering, the first trichomes have begun to form. The buds have started to thicken considerably during this week. They are becoming denser and more robust, which indicates that the plant is channeling its energy into producing larger, more resinous flowers. Throughout the growth process, the cannabis plant has shown no signs of health issues. It has remained vigorous and resilient, with no observable deficiencies or diseases. To ensure optimal light penetration and airflow, the plant was lightly defoliated this week. The cannabis plant is progressing well in its fifth week of flowering. The formation of trichomes, the thickening of buds, and the plant's overall health are all promising indicators of a successful flowering phase.

2 more weeks for the autos at most, day F11 for the rest of the room. Excellent results thus far, some of the daughters are outgrowing the 7 week older mothers. Nov.8 - Watered girls 250mL each, 0.25mL of each nutrient for each plant Nov.9 - Moved these girls into Vivosun tent under Phlizon 1200w light from a Marz Hydro tent 5x5 with Marz Hydro ts 1000 light. We needed to move these girls to this tent and have our DWC in the bigger tent so the DWC plants don’t get too hot at the bottom *once girls were transported to new tent the leaves turned to curl and lift upwards, the light is on veg and is 24” high Nov.10 - Watered girls 250mL each, 0.25mL of each nutrient for each plant Nov.10 - Decided we don’t like the blurple light and took one of our Mars Hydro lights from our big tent and switched it Nov.11 - Watered each plant, 500mL, 1mL of each nutrient. Our girls drank soo fast so we are bumping it up a bit Nov.12 - Our girl #1’s leaves are a little droopy and are looking a bit weird in some spots (darker green and almost wrinkled). I switched to a flowing light cycle mid week and they all took it on pretty well. The first lingering smell is developing while they strech and gained almost 5cm in only 3 days. I removed a couple of large fan leaves, mostly the bottom ones and a pair of top leaves to give light a chance to penetrate further don the canop

I absolutely love to watch them grow! Especially that moment they hit their first growth spurt. I started with RO water that is remineralized for drinking purposes. The ppm is only 18! My tap is 156! So considering they don’t need much water, I’ve been stealing some of our drinking water. The RO water starts at pH of 7. After I add the nutrients, ppm of 249 @ pH of 5.8 while soil is still sweet @ pH of 7 I think my days are off as a new week begins on the last day of the previous week. I am going to leave that for consistency. 04/21 - Noticing some possible nutrient issues with the Fruity Pebbles for several days now. Going to see what she needs. Up front I’m thinking maybe just a super small amount of Amino Acids with a little Epsom Salt. Maybe she is struggling to access the nitrates from the neem cake. IF it’s a issues with nitrogen. We will see. Maybe she would benefit from some extra calcium?… Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Day 22 and I am noticing how these girls have been burning up a lot of potassium lately, dealing with the wind and sun 💨 ☀️, getting pushed around all day. I plant to top dress with some Kelp Meal pretty soon. Day 24 -> 4/22/22- a quote from the weather on today’s red flag warning and dust storm warning. “ HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging wind in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Satellite imagery. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.” I’m keeping the girls inside today. Day 26, I was planning to check the runoff on some of these girls, especially the fruity pebbles, however I messed that up as I also top dressed WAY too much of the seaweed bliss. So I flushed with plain RO water at pH of 7 until there was only slight coloration in the runoff. I didn’t check the runoff as a lot has changed with all that flushing. So next watering/feeding I will make sure I check the runoff on multiple plants. So the seaweed bliss with its 17 on potassium, seems to be the most likely culprit for why there is a bronze-ish color on the inside of the new growth. Hopefully a foliar feed of Epsom salts can correct the problem. Inside tent, lights on LOW. Noticing similar pattern in all of them to a degree, most noticeable in the fruity pebbles.

I can only say it again and again, the buds look beautiful, and it was very pleasant to cut in terms of the leaf / bud ratio 😍. After standing in the darkroom for 48 hours, it was finally harvested 😝. The buds were all sterile with Tool trimmed neatly by hand ✂️. Then they came back into the darkroom on the net, where they are now gently dried for the next 7-14 days at 62% humidity and 22 degrees temperature, before they are first put in jars with Boeveda pack 62%, which takes another 2 weeks is exchanged for Boveda 58%. Definitely would’ve been better had I not moved but nonetheless it was a great run overall, super frosty and sticky with not very dense buds which made for a difficult trim but I didn’t mind.

Start of week 5 Blue dream is on fire lst to perfection. Had to increased dosage on megacrop and extra gram.3 4/17update the end of week 5 tom will be the start of week 6 also start of flowering! Lst her to pperfection

Wk10 11/10/21: Day 64. 💧I have no idea what I should do. Should I chop it now, and use it to compare my next grow to, or wait another week and then chop? I think I'll let the pot dry out one more time, and then cut it down. Might as well have a baseline to go by. With plenty of cloudy trichomes, it's likely a good time to come down anyhow. Everyday I see more and more pistils dying back, but also a bunch of new hairs being pushed out, so it's confusing. I have a feeling that it's going to start foxtailing if I let it go much longer. Right now, buds are still very tight. If I do anything else before harvest, it will be a wet trim of most leaves. 11/11/21: Day 65. Pot is a bit lighter today, but not enough for me to say it's time. I've never been one to harvest just before the lights come on, and just chop it down whenever I felt like it, and had the time. I'm not sure if I will wait until early morning, or just go with what I've always done. I really don't feel like waking up at 4:30 and making a bunch of noise. I should really change my lighting schedule to make that easier, but I would be very unhappy if I couldn't check on, and take care of my plants during the morning and throughout the early afternoon. My thoughts on the plant came true. I opened the tent today, and saw some foxtails forming. Right now it's alright, as it's just a bit more bud to smoke, but if I left it to go for the entire rest of the week, it would definitely look like it had some lumps. So, that means it's time to wet trim, then chop down and hang it. Thankfully I have a small empty tent that I can use for drying. I have a fan in there still, so the air will be moving. Cannot wait to give this a test. 11/12/21: Day 66. 🌲Pot is definitely light enough to harvest today. As much as I'd like this to be my first dark harvest (chop 1 hour before light, or 5 hours after dark), I'll just stick with my usual plan and chop it down later, once I've taken care of a few other small things. I can see even more foxtails forming, and the old ones are now very prominent. I know there are several reasons for that to happen, with one being genetically predispositioned to growing them, but this is not likely the case. They are likely caused by my movent of the plant mich closer to the light, technically just a smidge too close. Oh well, I don't mind a few buds messed up, just as long as it's not the entire plant. Plant is now hanging inside the upstairs tent with a fan for air circulation. I will monitor it's weight loss every two days, and then jar and cure some remaining buds for approximately 4 weeks in my auto cure. It may not last that long, but I'm going to try. I will do my best to keep the main cola separate and intact for a future session. Chop: 88.1g or 3.11oz 11/14/21: Day 68. 35.5g or 1.14 oz 11/15/21: Day 68. Total dry: 20.7g. Bud is actually quite crumbly, so I'm sure once its brought back up to the 64% the Integra pack provides, it will have a better weight. Some smaller buds were smoked for testing, while a good portion is in the small auto cure, where it shall hopefully remain for the next 4 weeks. Updates will be provided once buds are cured for a true smoke report. End Diary As you can see, the plant did not finish on a desired colour. I do not mean a dark purple, but a high level of yellowing in the leaves. It started early in the flowering process, and continued to get worse. The plant however, persevered and finished strong. Even though the plant did not finish up looking like an ideal specimen, it allowed me to learn a lot about the genetics, and how to work with the dry amendments with this strain. Next round will be mich better, I guarantee. Don't believe me! Just watch! We will see it together.
