Alright, it's the end of week 2 veg and we're starting to take off! Have you ever seen a plant with the mutation mine has? She doesn't have a main stalk lol but instead has two! Plus her fan leaves are looking a bit screwy lol. I'm a fan of mutated cannabis though and love to see how they do so she's definitely staying around. I'm not a big auto grower myself so I don't have that high of expectations but I'm sure these ladies will look great once they get another week or two under their belts. We're continuing the alfalfa Ferment from Growing Organic (discount code CollinT), these girls have craft blend mixed into their medium so we won't be top dressing until late veg early flower. This week I harvested these two Quebec Black Bud, it was really a great experience. Its unique appearance and these colors charm us from start to finish. Calm in vegetation but surprises us in flowering. I can't wait to see the final product 😇 Harvest : Pheno #1 day 56 flowering 119 total Pheno #2 day 60 flowering 123 total Training : They have received my hand manipulation since day 8 and this every day to force them to grow bigger and stronger until the addition of the scrog. After drying and curing I realize how the color is an intense purple almost black, The genetics are not called Quebec black bud for nothing. the buds are really compact, I know that with the auto pot system I give myself a chance that they will be denser but I believe that hard training leaves its mark.

Exactly a week ago these five Sour Diesels were planted. The sixth plant you see in the pictures is a CousKush Auto that is being nursed for 2 weeks to then be taken care of by family. They germinated quickly, after less than 72 hours most cotyledons were fully open and the roots grew through the root cubes. At this point they were transplanted into 0.12L seedling bags filled with pre-buffered coco and perlite (saturated with PH'd RO water). They will stay in those to develop a good root structure for around a week before moving to 1L pots. They reacted decently to the transplant although the cotyledons curled down on some of the seedlings. I attribute that to the coco being too moist when they were transplanted. I waited to give them more water until day 5 to dry the coco out a bit. Day 5 is when I first watered them, using a 0.3 EC nutrient solution. They all get 8-10 ml every 24 hours now and seem to be doing great.

I don’t know whether the original breeders Anesia’s BlackBerry Moonrocks is better or has more stable pheno variation, I grew one seed and it came out pretty good, other than these overtly purple (tasting) strains I’m not all that fussy weed wise. Shame but if you dig this sort of thing, I’d recommend this hardy relatively quick finishing plant. Yielded just about 4 ounces which is on point, even the lower stuff wasn’t larf it was caked popcorn bud.

Finally moved into their forever home and final pots all seems generally good,it's abit tricky with multiple strains as they all react differently so trying to balance and learn what each strain likes is abit harder,net is in place and already using it to spread the canopy out for more top nodes and coverage

Very orange and creamy taste in pheno 1 and more sweet piney terps come through on pheno2 would recommend to try these out

Gorilla glue has been growing really well. She is doing good under the G300W Spider Farmer light. Just did some training today. Waiting for her to spread out good, and reach maturity before I flower. One of my own personally created strains. It definitely has the Jack Herer tall genetics. I topped and defoliated every plant. I'm trying to form them into canna-bushes. Hopefully I'm doing the correct training procedures to make them all grow that way both indoors and out.

Harvest update on flowering day 75 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey everyone ☺️👍. Today there is a short update of the harvest before the last update after the fermentation comes 😀👍. Both phenotypes were very easy to cut due to their very good bud to leaf ratio ☺️. I already like both phenotypes in terms of smell, although I have to say that Phenotype 1 smells much better and fruity 😍. Was trimmed clean by hand with disinfected scissors :-). Before harvest, both plants were given complete darkness for 48 hours. The trichomes are 70% milky and 30% amber 😍. You can now dry for 7-12 days on the net at 62% humidity. Then it goes for another 12-17 weeks in the glasses with 62% boveda packs which are then changed to 58% boveda packs :-). Until then and for the final harvest update, I wish you all a lot of fun. 2/7: Did a thorough feeding today, and also foliar fed with Microlife Maximum Blooms. Added humic acid. I spotted a couple of nanners on the main cola of the older/paler one and they had already popped... 😒 Might be some interesting hybrid beans in the garden, but hopefully the recent foliar feedings killed off any stray pollen before much damage was done to the crop. 2/12: Fed today..no time for anything else..
