Ok so I put a significant amount of time into this grow. Learned a ton (everything lol) as it was my first. After the final week, I decided to harvest when the trichs were milky and clear. Few amber here and there but time constraints meant I had to chop a bit earlier than I’d have preferred. I do prefer a more uplifting cerebral effect yet realize with an indica leaning strain, having all cloudy and maybe 25% amber would have been 👌🏼. My drying process began by chopping a plant at a time, I washed the buds to get the PM or traces off (also grime from outdoor city air). I used a big bucket and did hydrogen peroxide. In heindsight I would have used baking soda as well and did a two step wash. After washing them, I hung to dry with a fan until they stopped dripping then into the tent they went for drying at roughly 68 degrees and 55% humidity. I staggered the harvest and wet trimmed about 70% of the time with the latter 30% dry trimmed. This was done for convenience and to try both ways. I dried everything for about 12-13 days until the smallest stems snapped and the larger ones were borderline cracking. I started jarring everything with humidity meters, about a half oz per smaller widemiuth jam jar. The smell was never hay-like but did vary in strength and scent from plant to plant. Almost no seeds which was pretty great to see. One of the outdoor plants had quite a few seeds so I kept that separate. It ironically had the stinkiest floral smell. So what’s the total!! After curing in jars for about a month, I weighted everything and came out with 10.5oz of cured trimmed flower and about 2 oz of sugar leaf trim which I am making canna butter with and cooking. Made some reduculously strong cookies: 11 cookies from about 10 grams of trim. Ate two and was medicated for about 24hrs 😂. Some of the buds were super dense and cured down to 58 RH easily. There were a few of the large big buds that had mass but less density and fewer trichomes. These were more red-hair visually than the others. The smoke: surprisingly smooth. The effect is energizing and uplifting at first, with a nice sedative body feeling on the second half of things. Overall, I’m super happy with the result. Learned a TON and will be modifying my approach a bit next go-around this spring. Stay tuned!!!

After topping last week we've just been watching them grow. Bending down the branches to help them spread out. Over this next week I'll start my lst ties to help pull them down and out.

Looking good hopefully all will be showing signs of flowering at the end of this week. I'll update a few more times this week.

In week 9 my TRICHOME-WONDERS are doing GREAT! All plants continue to grow new flower crowns all over the plants. The branches starts to form colas now...its an impressive sight. The healthy green color and speedy devlopment tells me that the BIO-TABS nutrient tablets are still doing a FINE JOB! I love how convenient and time-saving my waterings are, since the plants ONLY GET PURE TAB-WATER. No more measuring and adjusting ph- and EC-levels feels like a LIBERATION...lol 😄 A few plants like the Strawberry-Sour-Siesel from DevilHarvestOriginal-Seeds are getting so tall, that I need to control their height. My favorite method to do this is SUPER-CROPPING! This is a method promoted by SOMA from SOMA-Seeds and works perfectly to control the height of a plant without having to top her. I pinch the main-stem of the plant (appr. 25-30 cm from the top, right above a node) all around in a circle, so hard that I can feel the fibers inside brake. Then I bend the top part of the stem downwards (ar at least 90 degrees to the side) and let it hang there. The plant will start to heal the stem where it was pinched (it will form an elbow-like shape) and turn the bent part of the stem upwards again. During this time the side-branches grow further in height and the plant will get bushier instead of taller. After the stem repaired itself, the buds on it will turn towards the lights as well and will continue to flower. This way I can control the height and still harvest the top-buds later.

Aug 23: Sunday Punch EV is very fast and is getting close to ready. The buds are getting quite big and are weighing down the branches. Without the Scrog net she would be too floppy for all these buds. Plants are a bit too green lately so maybe there’s too much N still, but she’ll grow out of it. For pH adjustments I use apple cider vinegar normally but I ran out last week and was using malt vinegar. That must be one of the sources of excess N so I switched to regular white vinegar. Anyway, she is a very impressive plant. Aug 27: getting noticeably frostier. Hot again today. Increased water volume to about 9 L per day done as three 3 L waterings in morning, afternoon and finally in evening. Adding potassium silicate still to water and adjusting pH with vinegar and then adding a squirt of Dr Bronners Peppermint Soap as a wetting agent (surfactant) and the smell supposedly keeps bugs away. Unfortunately there are hardly any insects around any more, so, yay. Aug 28: flash pics before using red light. Don’t do flash pics of your plants if you don’t follow it up with a red light. Still seems a bit risky but this is the fourth year doing it and it seems fine.

Topping has gone extremely well. I expected to see more signs of flowering by now, certainly nothing definitive yet. Starting to wonder if it might be a photo and not an auto. Time will tell. Added an organic CO² producer on day 37 after noticing signs of deficiency.

Week 6 of flower, defoliate, water, cruise control

Flipped on 17-7 to flower🌺 and the first issue came 🤷 the sativa dom cookie ( stretchy girl ) couldnt handle the feed and got a little burned, nothing to bad. She's going on a water only diet next two rounds.

She has the most heavy buds from all, the most. colorful. Her wet weight was 420g, can't say how much of dry but guessing approx. 100g Sweet Mary Jane, front seat lady. I think she was the most pleasant to grow of her location but due to no other spare space for drying I belive that I have harvested her at least a week to early. Hey guys :-) Every day when I open the tent I can hardly believe how strong the buds have developed :-). I discontinued the PK 13/14 for the week and lowered the Ec value to 1.4 because it is slowly coming to an end and you no longer need so much nutrients :-). The buds will begin to swell and mature. The water basin was completely replaced after the change. The entire plant was checked for health. The tent was cleaned and fresh osmosis water was prepared for the next water change 👍. Hey Friends, end of week 11 from seed ☺️ Not much has changed this week in the growth of plant #2. I noticed some orange on the leaf tips. This can be due to overfeeding nutrients or because I recently ran into a problem with my Ph meter, it broke so I had to purchase one at a local Hydroponics store, different model so it was giving me different readings. For example, after adding nutrients to the water, ph would read 4.5 - 5.0, with the old ph meter I would add 10 drops of ph up and it would rise to 6.0 - 6.2, with the new ph meter it goes down to 4.2 when adding nutrients and I need around 20-30 drops to bring the ph up to 6.0 +. The old ph meter was less expensive I purchased it for $15, and the new ph meter cost me about $60. I guess the new one gives me the correct reading. The plant was used to the old feeding dosage now it just needs to adapt to the new feeding. Noticed some of the top leaves had curls so I lowered light intensity. An increase in red stems so ill keep lowering the light to avoid too much strees Colas are growing in width Smell is slowly getting stronger, not sure what strain it could be but it looks and smells like cookies and og. No amber trichomes yet, maybe there is some already but its not very noticeable yet QUESTIONS How long before flushing?

Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5. Wow! It's been a good week of growth. The plant are sure drinking alot of food this week. Indicia's do that about this time in flowering. I took some 1/4 inch doweling and tied cord around the ends and tied the plants back out of the light so they don't fry. The resin production has kicked in. Some of the plant are looking frosty already. As usual I'm hoping for some strong smoke to come out of these girls. Seeds are supposed to arrive today according to my email. and the address is from Spain. Have my seeds finally been sent by OA Seeds? And I thought I was getting ripped off by them. It's been 3 whole months. I've been asking about every week or two where are my seeds and I was always getting the run around something about we don't have those seeds so you will have to pick something different or wee have a problem with seed delivery so you will have to pick something else or taking days to respond to my email responses. I'm expecting the seeds to be old and that they won't sprout. So I'll start some straight away to see. I forgot what I ordered and I had to go back and look at the email receipt and remember but who knows what I'll get? Till next week. Chuck.

Still giving them a 2:1 or 2.5:1 grow vs bloom nutrient. Its helping with some of the pink stems from last week. Feeding strength is up .2 point to reach 900ppm or aorund 1.8EC will leave it here fro the remainder of Veg. Prob will do for 2 more weeks then flip to flower as I just topped them and want to give them some time to recover. NPK ratio of 7-7-14 1:1 equal parts grow/bloom. Grow=8-4-15 Bloom=6-10-14 Boost=1-15-30 "not yet used it yet" Also took some clones from the plants as well, took two main cuttings from each plant, forgot to do the one so its not shown in the first video up the updated clone pics later in the week. If any of these impress me then the clones will go outside and grow there all year for a extra special harvest. Or I'll give them out to some friends and family maybe a little gorilla gardening project, but I will wait before getting ride of them all as I'm still kicking my self in the ass over the Blue Cindy loss. really liked that plant and wish its clones I gave out where still aorund. Lights doing well. The V1 spectrum is good on the medic grow mini sun-2's 240w. No issues so far, dimmed at 80% till flower is initiated then up to 100%, Will test out 13/11 I think as the schedule to give them some more photons for an extra hour vs 12/12 . Day 15 - The start of week 3 and the girls are really taking off, from 1-2 Inches of vertical growth daily. Consuming a good amount of water, almost leaving the bucket empty. lol. Lightly defoliating to keep the bud sites exposed to light, as they get bushy very fast and recovery is only taking a day for them to bounce back. Pretty happy with how things are going right now. Slightly increased the EC by .2 but not enough to burn them.. which is the goal. Grateful for my trolmaster unit as it has made keeping tracking of my parameters much easier and effortless. Day 16- Topping up the res with RO water every two days. Otherwise I'm sure it would be empty! Pistils are showing and the bud sites are very visible. Seeing one pheno with slightly more sativa dominant traits. Luckily I took clones so I can run the best pheno next time around, although all these plants are special. Still going through the flower stretch. Excited for what is to come. Stay tuned for the results. Day 18 - As you can see, the difference is night and day over a period of 2 days they have had an explosion of growth. They were heavily defoliated on day 17 and bounced back within a day.
