Week 6 of 8 begins! Mandarin dreams 1&2 are looking great, bulking up and smelling delish! MD1 is the runt of the two pheno's and has a shitty smell, MD2 is the stronger of the two and has the smell of a citrus cleaner. Day 57: Welcome to week 9. I defoliated a bit again. Nothin else to do today. Day 58: Nothing to do today. This week I aim for a VPD of 1.1 kPa. Day 59: Time to upgrade. The new AC Infinity S22 has arrived. Now there are 2 of them and both should support her pretty well. Let’s see, how she will finish. Day 60: With the second light in the tent, the temperature is quite high and around 25° C and I was not able to get the humidity to 60 % because the fan was running to fast and I don't want to use a humidifier in the flowering phase. So I decided to raise the temperature and humidity max levels. Let's see, how she likes this and what the avg. VPD will be at the end of the week. Day 61: Nothing to do today. Day 62: I removed some fan leafs. Also I noticed some days before, that she needs a bit more nutrients, so I added a bit more today to the reservoir. Maybe she has a bit of light stress. 2 of the S22 and at the nearest point only 20 cm is maybe a bit too much. So I lowered them to 80%. I hope that helps in addition. Day 63: Last day of the week. I hope lowering the LED to 80% helps her during the next week. It looks like light stress. Very happy I went Original Sensible Seeds beens this grow. 🤩 All 3 autos from some special american line, and o boy , they don't disappoint.🔥 Bangers genetics 👏🏻 all trees are good size with super thick stalks. So u know what that mean. Super fat buds. Nice smell. I like it a lot 💚

Last week I removed several leaves that dried out. Overall the plant is suffering from light exposure and now I have reached the maximum height for the lamp in the tent. The plant did not grow this week staying around 62cm. I found some roots on the surface and covered them with more soil. I have noticed no substantial changes in the buds and I am not sure whether the general dryness is affecting them. I have purchased a ph solution to tackle that issue hope not too late. I am still confident I to get a decent outcome in a couple of weeks.

After topping last week we've just been watching them grow. Bending down the branches to help them spread out. Over this next week I'll start my lst ties to help pull them down and out.

Day 86. Almost no sugar leaves, most of trim went to bin, part left for bubble hash. Kind off hoped a bit more from this strain, maybe smoke will bright me up ;) Day 96. 77 g. went for curing. Smallest from all. Two month later. Made some bubble hash. Great strain, waiting for sunny day and will make smoke review. Not a lot of bubble, but it was great ! Happy Growing !

The buds smell a little like standard weed not so special but that doesn't surprise me as the plant looked in bad shape almost the whole grow. Exited to see some return on the hash, will be making fresh frozen so that should be cool.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Day 70 Well things have really turned around this last week. The buds are hard. They have gotten significantly firmer since flushing. The smell is super potent of tropical, sweet citrus. It and the others are too much for my old carbon filter to handle. I have another ordered. So now I’m just watering when dry til the trichomes are ready and watching the colors change!!! BEAST has done well this week. She is really starting to stack up the buds and the frost is already coming on strong and she already smells quite potent. I am watering with 10 gallons every 2-3 days. She is a thirsty beast!! I am willing to bet this plant will put what sweet seeds says it yields to the test!! Onward!! 😎🍿🍻🌱

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great week. The Glueberry OG is doing well, but it has been a struggle dealing with the heat and humidity in my region during late flower. I have 2 full size basement dehumidifiers running 24X7 and am able to maintain between 42-48% RH in the tent, however the tent is running between 68-80 degrees F, and I would definitely prefer slightly cooler. It is also a bitch to empty both humidifiers twice a day to prevent them from filling up and shutting off. I could build a reservoir and run lines, but I am just done flowering in the summertime, although I said the same thing in summer 2021. I was hoping to harvest her on 4th of July of Weekend, however her trichomes are just not ready. She is literally covered in triches, but not seeing any amber on the colas, just a couple on the leaves. So I will giver her at least another week, and hopefully harvest the following weekend. I check the trichomes every day or two and my new plan is hopefully to start the flush by the 4th depending on the trichomes and harvest the following weekend. Since I am harvesting 3 plants, if I can't get them all trimmed in a day, I plan to just go lights off for the next few days and have an auto or two still in the tent auto feeding on water only, while the Glueberry OG starts to dry, and then harvest the other's in the next couple of days. I figure as long as everything is in complete darkness, and the temp and humidity are stable, it should be fine, as some people swear by a darkness period anyways, although I have never tried it. If anyone has any experience/advice with this hit me up! I am trying to stay patient with this lady, but I am super excited to harvest her. Her Colas just started falling to the floor of the tent yesterday as they continue to pack on weight, Fortunately I saw it via Wyze Cam and was able to tie them up before they reached the floor. This lady smells absolutely amazing, this lady reaks of earthy diesel, and juicy fruit...Super excited to smoke and squeeze some of these nugs. The Glueberry OG Auto is the second auto I have run by Dutch Passion, the other was their Auto Blueberry which was a MASSIVE plant. I definitely prefer Photos as I enjoy mainlining etc, but as far as autos go, I have not seen any stronger genetics than Dutch Passion. I don't want to speculate on a final weight, but she has 12 mains, and I am estimating each main will be in the 1-2 zip range, and that's not even counting all the side branches. I know some people lollipop all the lower branches, but I will be happy to turn the lowers into half melt, canna-sugar,, bubble hash, full melt, rosin, etc. I am still running the Medic Grow Spectrum X at 100% in the F1 mode and running the UV/IR bar for 120 minutes prior to lights off. So far I am super pleased with this light, for the amount of PAR she puts out, she definitely runs cool comparatively to other LED's. 7/24/23 - Day 42 - Ok, so where to start? I'm going to go over the last couple days of issues/troubleshooting. We had an issue with the lights not coming on for a whole day/night cycle. That was a couple of days ago, and everything seems okay since then. I had some Canoeing/tacoing on the leaves once the lights were back on. I think I had the PH too low, 5.8. In flower, I should start moving it up the scale. Once I corrected the PH to 6.2, the canoeing/tacoing in the leaves seemed to be gone/almost gone. I'm REALLY worried about the height of the plant. She is only 12 in. from the light that I cannot move. I added a second scrogg net???? I don't know if that's done a lot, but I'm going to try and stop if from growing straight up. I think the best I can do is give it a lean. So Ill call this the ScoggGL (GangstaLean). You'll see some pictures up top as I start the ScoggGL I did the first big trim and pulled a 3-gallon bucket of fan leaves out. I cut off a few side branches I didn't want the plant to waste energy on. I trimmed so many leaves off it was crazy. The smells have been awesome! You all know the smell of the fresh plant stems and leaves as you trim and rub across them. It's one of my favorite smells, which is in full effect. I noticed that I have some pistils growing. I know what that means, shes going to have some flowers here in the next week. I couldn't be more excited!!!!! The roots are just downright ruthless; they have been growing out of control. I have a great picture of them in there with no water. I should note that I did two things that might have solved the Tacoing in the leaves. It could have been one or the other, but it also could be a combo of both things. I did the trimming to get some airflow between the leaves and changed the target for my PH from 5.8 to 6.2. When moving into flowering, I should have already done that. But I did both things while the leaves were Tacoing, and now they are not. I wanted to make sure I noted that. 7/26/23 - Day 44 - Things are looking great. No more tacoing, she's growing and still drinking about 2+ gallons a day of water. I hope the vertical growth stops soon, I want to remove a ton more fan leaves, and I'm hoping that it spends more time growing around than up, I'm keeping some leaves on just to slow some vertical growth. 7/27/23 - Day 45 - She's sleeping right now, but I will chop some more fan leaves when she wakes up. She's growing too tall, and I need to find a way to stop her. I think shocking her system will help stunt her growth. How crazy is this, what a conundrum I'm in. Normally I stress out trying to find the right time to trim to avoid stunting growth. I always keep my plants busy and do one or two chops. I think they need to grow as mother nature intended. Let them grow and do one, maybe two fan leave chops. That's always been my motto and its always worked out great for me. This is now the exact opposite. Feels weird even thinking about it, doing a leave chop two weeks into flower..... ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!! Lol The 2nd chop has happened. I took a ton of fan leaves off. It's time for the plant to slow down heal and start working on the buds! Let's see how this goes over the next couple of days. I added a timelapse of me chopping her up. 7/28/23 - Day 46 - After adding more water last night, I was checking PH, and I did a quick check on the ppm from the nutes. If it went from 600ppm down to 130ppm in a couple of days. So we decided to give her another dose of nutes so she has something to eat. I'll update you after she wakes up for the day.
