Hey now, hope everyone is doing well, I had one out of two Fastbuds Strawberry Bananas pop and she is currently in Pro-Mix seedling starter/perlite but will be transferred to Coco Coir/Perlite as soon as her roots fill up the solo cup. I will transplant her probably in a week or so, she seems to be starting slow even though she's in a perfect environment. I have seen this before, and some of the ladies I was ready to give up on became massive producers, so I'll see what happens with this one. I have gotten some great yields and flower quality from Fastbuds strains, but I have not had the greatest germination success rate compared to other breeders. I started prepping some coco for this grow by flushing it down to .4 EC and I currently have it soaking in buckets of water with an EC of 2.0 from Cal Mag. This will help prevent cal mag deficiencies in the plants. I will transplant her to her final home in a week or so which will be a 5.4 Gallon Airpot. Once in her final home she will get fed 4x per day, and the runoff will go to my tomatoe plants outside which will also be in coir. I am very excited to crank this Medic Grow LED up and especially add that UV/IR spectrucm to the flowers and see what effect that has on the final THC and terpene production. I am currently running the Spectrum X at 30% which is about 230 watts in the F1 spectrum which is the blue/veg spectrum. I will be adding more seedlings to the tent here shortly to try and fill her up, but I started with the longest expected grow times of Glueberry OG and Strawberry Banana, and next week I will add a Gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds and a Purple Punch from Barney's Farm with the hope that they will all be ready for harvest within a week or two of each other. Day 15. Girls are steady but no major growth yet. Day 19- stardawg girls seem to be just a bit infront in terms of growth rate compared to the GSC. 2 stardawg, 2 Girl Scout cookies in soil. One of each in rockwool cubes which seem to be growing nicely. Just double stacked them today. Used the rockwool along side soil as a little experiment as I’ve had good results in the past. Due to these being autos I’m wondering if they would of all been better in cubes. Time will tell. Also had one of the Girl Scout cookies showing possible overfeeding but keeping a close eye on all plants and feeds will be just water till I establish what’s caused it. Week 8 Day 49 to harvest P1 harvest was flower day 53 - total wet weight was 24oz and the stem base accounted for 8.0oz, so about 16oz set to dry. I fed P1 half nute flush water again this week. Feed this week was 1.25 gallons 1 time. I used 400ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added .5ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and 7ml of Roots Organics HP2 (Aurora Innovations 0-4-0). PH balance this week was 6.3. And then cut her down 4 days later. P2 harvest was flower day 49 - total wet weight was 16.3oz and the stem base accounted for 6.4oz so about 9.9oz set to dry. (reminder that P2 was the test plant where I broke the main stem and later another later topping from an off branch already topped.) The test resulted in smaller colas in the later topping and the first topping break recovered surprisingly well with colas equal to the biggest. However the later break after the last topping resulted in the smallest cola. This tells me that any damage survived early can see a full recovery but later ones may cost yield. Since P2 looked mostly ready to harvest I decided to dry out after the first feed this week. I will update with cure and smoke details later.

Hello Diary. We have reached the end of this journey. Ten weeks in total, three weeks of vegetation and seven weeks of flowering, a total of 78 days since Sherbet Queen sprouted. Last week there were no surprises, I watered the plants regularly and observed the development of trichomes. As all three plants started to show here and there some brown trichomes at the end of the week, I decided on the 71st day to harvest. All in all I am very pleased with the look of the plant, it has developed nicely, the flowers are large and juicy and the smell is citrusy diesel. I had to connect the branches well because they started to bend a lot due to the weight, so I was afraid they would break because I wanted to place it nicely for the last photo shoot. It will now dry upside down for at least two weeks in the dark. The ventilation will stay on to make the airflow better. The condition in the grow box is satisfactory, the temperature is around 29 degrees and the humidity is slightly lower than 50%, and one fan blows all the time, mixing the air in the box. Here’s what the last week looked like. 19/07/2021 - Day 65. Watering. I adjusted the p.H to 6.3 and with 8 liters of water I watered all three plants evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 30 degrees and 51% humidity. 21/07/2021 - Day 67. Watering. p.H 6.4. Same procedure as two days earlier. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 28 degrees and 41% humidity. 23/07/2021 - Day 69. Last watering. p.H I dropped to 6.4. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 48% humidity. 25/07/2021 - Day 71. Photography and Harvest. After taking photos and video, I cut off the plant at the bottom of the stalk and hung it in a grow-box to dry in the dark. Whenever I write a report from the last week, some nostalgia overwhelms me after the harvest. Yet during that time you take care of that plant, send it positive energy, and hope it will reward you richly. In this case, I think I succeeded. See you soon with the final report.
