Day 14

The 3th week of 12/12 is history and flowering has entered the grow room. 😋 I marked day 53 (day 17 of 12/12) as the first day of actual flowering. Everyday I've checked if there were fungus gnats trapped on the yellow sticky traps and I've spotted a few. So not a total infestation. I've also checked for signs of hermies and I haven't seen any. I've had one a few years ago and it pretty much ruined the whole grow. Seeds everywhere. But that was another breeder and strain. Under the screen I did some final pruning and above a minor defoilation. The Runtz are stretching nicely and the screen is filled pretty much like I wanted it to. Gonna leave them alone now, done with bending those shoots under the screen. This weeks temperatures stayed between 20,6°C (69°F) and 24,2 °C (75,5°F) and humidity levels between 44 – 56 % Light pressure was raised from 244 watt at 70cm (27 inch) to 260 watt at 63cm (25 inch). Their diet consisted of ph adjusted tapwater (ph 6,38 – ec 0,49) most of the week. They were barely fed for 1 day. Gonna keep it that way as long as I don't see any signals of shortages or surpluses. Naturally, ec leves will rise next week but one day of feeding seems enough for now. Smell is coming in slightly, but the CAN-lite carbon filter is doing it's job. There's a 600m³ one hanging in the grow room connected to a 550m³ Airfan foam softbox that's dimmed at 40% since the start of this grow. That was the most important info for this week. The the buds were small so it made trimming a nightmare! But it’s done and the end product is worth all the time. I have loads of trim and small popcorn buds that will be dry Ice sifted and pressed into a hash brick. Will update the diary when I have some bcp hash Weighed up the trim at 588 grams, used my trim bins with dry ice to sift the trim and pressed it into blocks using a rosin pre press, I’ll now jar this and put it to one side. My first time doing this, definitely worth the effort!

Questa settimana sta andando bene i fiori stanno diventando più grandi, sono tutti pieni di resina ma sono comunque ancora piccolini, speriamo che ingrossino ancora 🤞🏻 Aggiornamento 17 Novembre: Oggi ho aggiunto una nuova luce di supporto appositamente per illuminare i fiori che sono più indietro rispetto agli altri. La lascerò accesa h24 per vedere se può cambiare qualcosa, nel frattempo alcuni fiori sembra che stiano iniziando ad ingrossare e ad unirsi.

End of Week 7 CO2 is definitely increasing growth rates but also changes the game with controlling your environment now that it has to be sealed in order to not waste CO2 unnecessarily. You change one thing and it adds many other variables to keep everything in check. I am learning everyday and that's why I grow. The trellis net is doing its job and the canopy is looking nice and even. I also added a soil top-up and top dress of some BioBloom and Mycorhizae so it can start breaking down before I flip to flower next week (Slow release dry organic amendments). And the ladies are using up nutrients in the soil much faster because of the added CO2 (another variable to take into consideration - faster growth = faster nutrient consumption) In detail: -Carefully removed trellis netting -Ammended each plant individually with my soil mixture and nutrients -Placed them back in the tent -Reinstalled trellis netting and trained the ladies to shape Pest Report: Thrips VS Ladybugs... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. I did not spray any insecticide this week and it really seems like the ladies are happy with my new method of bio-warfare and are wilting less and less often

In week 3 of flowering, the ladies suffered from nutrient deficiency. Due to vacations, they had SPA water only for a week. I immediately added nutrients to the water tank, with an EC of 1.8 I will also add green sensation starting this week. I also defoliated them, all the affected leaves are almost all gone.

Week 8 as of yesterday, January 8, 2025. Today is day one (1) of Week 9. If anyone has any suggestions as to whether or not I should Harvest the one plant, please help. With Mephisto Genetics' new releases there is no picture of what the plant should look like when finished and believe it or not, I am still new at this.

Took some nice pictures with my microscope at the begin of this week from a underdeveloped budrot bud. So the other buds might have more and better thc on it. This is the end of the 6th week of flowering. Gave the plants only enzymen, because I don't know how long I can keep them going on flowering with this climate. Therefore I rather not feed them( there are still alot of nutrients in the soil), so they are not full of nutrients when I have to suddenly harvest them. As you can see, they take the nutrients out of the leafs as well, because they don't get nutrients from my watering. Might give them some Humic-Blast as well, in the new week. Will harvest them in 1 or 2 weeks depending on climate + growth of buds. The front plant buds didn't swell that much but the plant behind keeps flowering, not much but bit by bit. It's understandable because the day temperature is between 10-20 degrees fahrenheit and night temp is between 5-12 LOL

Hello Growmies, Week four of vegetation for our Epic Buzz by Anesia has been marked by remarkable progress and environmental optimization. The uniform growth has continued, with each plant reaching a robust 20 cm in their spacious 12.5-liter air-pots, signaling a very successful vegetative phase. The integration of the heater and humidifier into the tent's system has been a game-changer, allowing for precise control of the growing conditions. The environmental graphs are showing admirable consistency in temperature and humidity, which is key to maintaining an ideal VPD level for the plants, ensuring optimal transpiration and nutrient uptake. The Photone app indicates that the light intensity is within the ideal range for this stage, with readings of 150-180 PPFD. The lights, dialed down to 25%, along with the strategic use of IR lighting for 30 minutes at the transitions of the day, support the natural growth cycles of the plants. Concurrently, the UV lighting's midday cameo for 30 minutes is a masterful touch, potentially enhancing plant resilience and future resin production. Once the connectivity issues are ironed out, the Mars Hydro inline fan will be operational, enhancing nighttime dehumidification, a critical aspect of maintaining plant health by preventing excess moisture and the issues it can bring. This will round out the environmental controls, making them as meticulous during the night as they are throughout the day.
