[Day 47] 08/13/21 - It's hard to believe these are all the same strain. Looks like 4 phenotypes at play. They all have differences in growth type, smell and size. #4 has zero trichomes so far and not the most pleasant scent. The others have a very pleasant smell with subtle differences between them.

No issues at all. Gonna transplant next week I think.

Starting a second seed of this Wedding Cake strain from Lifted, a rec grower. The first seed has some interesting mutations going on that I did not see in any of the four plants last year. Hopefully this one comes out strong and uniform. If it does, I’ll likely clone it and hit the clone with some colloidal silver to reload. I have 9 seeds left, but it would be nice to have some extras. I really scored with these seeds. I put a few photos of a plant from the same seed stock. As you can see, the plant is very robust. I also found it very durable, pest and weather resistant. It also provides high yields. The research I’ve done says that Lifted’s Wedding Cake strain comes from a clone of the Seed Junky strain, which I believe to be the original strain. Whether the seeds I found in my rec store purchase are from cross pollination, genetics or stress, I’m not sure. However, given that I popped 4 seeds last year and had four females, I feel pretty confident that the seeds are from stress or genetics. So they would be feminized. No topping, just some serious LST. This year, I plan to top the stronger of the two and FIM the other.

Another good week come and gone. A couple of the girls needed nutrients so I add some general hydroponics blend into those that needed them. Didn't seem to make much difference yet. But they are getting into late flower. Orange sherbet isnt great right now. No real smell and not looking great. Not sure but prolly too small of a pot. Bueno, le salió la radícula en las primeras 24h, pero quise esperar a que se desarrollara más antes de transpartarla al sustrato, tras pasar más de 48h me quedé sorprendido que siguiera (aparentemente) igual, la pase a la tierra(💦mojada en el centro con 100ml del agua que utilicé para germinarla), se me hizo eterno esperar a que sacara la cabeza, tremenda alegría al 4 día ❤️🙌🌱, al ver el sustrato relativamente seco volví a mojar💦(esta vez con la mitad, 50ml aprox.). Decidí comer hummus (como ella jijiji) y ponerle el plástico de invernadero con la idea de manter la humedad alta💦💦💦

So this is her last wk before i chop them been flushing with plain water. Loving the colours this time around. things i have learnt is IR/infrared at for 15min at lights out on a light cyc 14/10 screwed them last run big time. this week was great, the V1 arrived through a lot of logistical nightmares. its the final test before mass production- i will post another dairy for it but please have a look at the pics above. ive created a stylish subtle, modern way to grow 4 plants. this will be great for all levels and will save big on energy and nutrition. you just have to prune, it can even draw water into itself. anbd its 4 plants!!! stick here and youll see it in action. ive decided to change the order in tents. now we have super strong Purple berry Kush with the returned and super strong sweet seeds Sweet cherry pie. so one tent is the strong, and the other tent is now perma auto flower, which serves for additional veg for girls who fall behind their grow peers. hope that makes sense. i think my net is pretty useless other than a visual to plan nodes. i guess the real support will come from placing more plastic rods around the colas and fastening them. hope Christmas was kind to everyone. this oncoming week will be the last week of veg i think for tent two and we flip to flower. thanks for looking.

The one that survived was only inside a 2 litre, unfortunately, so didn't produce no where near as bud as I would've liked to. It's definitely not stable from 2/3 hermies, no issues with the other strains I had going alongside these.

Week 3 Flower – Gelonade Run (Week 7 from Seed) The Gelonade girls are entering full flower mode, and both phenos are thriving beautifully. Stretch is nearly complete, pistils are bursting everywhere, and structure is stacking just as expected. Both are now standing proudly at around 80 cm tall and enjoying their rhythm. Growth & Flower Development White hairs crown every top, a sure sign of transition into proper bloom. The stretch has given them elegant structure, spacing out their nodes, and now they are setting the stage for bud building over the next weeks. Pheno #1 is strong, symmetrical, and classic Gelonade – exactly what you’d hope for from this lineage. Pheno #2, though… she’s the unicorn. Her leaf mutation continues to be one of the most fascinating traits I’ve ever seen. The way her leaves open like layered fingers, folding and unfolding in unexpected ways, is pure art. It’s as if nature decided to write a little love poem in her leaves. Different, unique, and unforgettable. She carries her own beauty, a reminder that not everything perfect is uniform. Environmental Conditions Still running a little hot in the room (peaks up to 31–32°C), but airflow and extraction keep them happy. Humidity is stabilizing better now, averaging around 50–60%, and VPD is gradually coming closer to target. The TrolMaster sensors continue to keep me on track with moisture, EC, and conditions, making sure the girls stay balanced.
