I'll be updating the comment with the daily log shortly, but figured I'd get the photos and weekly overview up. I started off this week with a topping at about the 4th node, leaving the larger fan leaves on for now. I then left then alone for a bit while I waited for the new branches at the nodes to grow out, rotating as needed. By the end of the week, they had all bushed back up with new foliage and growth. I also included photos pf the flowering mother plant to keep up with that sneak peak. She still wasn't showing signs of flowering, so I gave her an extra 24 hours of darkness to hopefully kick start the process. As I went to go shut unplug the light source, I noticed that there was a smaller light leak from one of the vent ports, so I also made sure to close that up. At the end of the week when she started to show signs of flowering, I defoliated her to help with light penetration, as she's got massive fan leaves. You'll see in the photos that I took that opportunity to decarb the trim as well. I'm sure there's little to no THC-A, but whatever other compounds are present should make for a nice addition to some butter later on down the road. I just won't factor it in when approximating the potency of the final product.

Starting autopot system and root aeration this week. Stay posted for updates. Day 1 You remember that movie "Training Day"? It's sorta like that. With a light trim for the buried leaves on lean. Day 3 continued lst, also some defoliating to encourage growth and light up the nodes. Day 7 did a final pin for the week. #5 and I had a tug of war, We both lost. Start somewhere other than the top when tieing. But otherwise I am real proud of my pinning and hope it's right on the money.

Good stretch this week, I haven’t lollipopped at all, not even in veg. It’s fairly leafy everywhere and I want to get in there and defoliate bottom 1/3 soon. A lot of dead leaves I imagine, just been so busy and been neglecting the grow. Funny, how when you first start out and you’re overly micro-managing and then as the months go by, it starts to become a chore. I ordered a light from China, a Meijiu (HLG)550 V3. HLG Canada didn’t want to give me a decent discount so, unfortunately had to ship my money outside the country. Saved 50% for a quality light though. Might take a bit to get here, been processing in Hong Kong for 4 days. So far the leaves are healthy but last run they started to turn deficient after the stretch. In my defence, with the last grow, I was just starting on the dry nutrient regimen and made mistakes. Hopefully it stays healthy throughout bloom cycle with new changes and knowledge. New reservoir this week as follows: Partial drain, most of it gone, but 100mL RO added and; 40 gram cal nit 30 jacks 30 mag sulph. 100mL mighty bloom enhancer 100mL head masta 300 mL h2o2 25 mL Fulvic 40mL Humic pH ended up high with addition of bloom enhancer, added pH down to 5.8. PPM 1360. Wednesday-Day 10 Added water and some nutes. PPM 1200 pH 6.0 Started a small section of lower 1/3 defoliation Day 11 Did some more defoliation, added a video to show progress. Day 12 Finished lollipop on right plant. Moved some branches around. Added 20 liters and 20g cal nit, 10g of both jacks and magnesium sulphate.

Not sure if something is at her or just the way it grows. Dont see anything unexpected still dealing with a small population of gnats. Prob never be rid of them until we can get toxic on em. Auto tent is coming along began introducing bloom nuets to all 16ml/gal GrowA/B 4ml/gal Bloom Dink, its hard to imagine that plant a month ago Clones got a coat of Neem oil a bit of white fungus was trying to set up 12/16 Its all looking good, the issues we have we expected Made up the last pot for the clones with about 4 gallons of coco/perlite left over out of the original 40 gallons of coco, not bad 😎 May well be the last pot I make up here, *sniff sniff* 😜 Good night and thanks for all the fish

The stretch continues; hoping for another week of it. Been lightly defoliating from bottom up, lollipopping, and will continue to do so. Will increase nute concentrations next feeding; runoff is getting a bit low. Video/photos taken 63 days after breaking soil, day 14 of flower.

●Day 49, end week 7. Added bembe, Boomerang, and blackstrap molasses to the diet. Noticed some brown freckles on a handful of leaves. Hopefully the cal and mag in the molasses will help get me through another week before the big flush🤞 recalibrated my p.h. meters. Pics taken on day 36. Some, if not most of these are lightly seeded, I've checked for herms but cant find no nuts. Sucks but from what I've read and people I've talked to seems like it wont be too big of a deal in the end, some old school growers even prefer lightly seeded nugget, I've never tried it intentionally. The green buzz nutes are working well. I'm almost out of the more PK so I had to add herculean harvest liquid bonemeal to get the ppm where i want it while trying to conserve the Gbl to last the rest of the run. Didnt have the lady to take my pics today so I was limited and had to take them lefty one handed and was shakey af. Both are doing solid, I know the second one has a seed I couldn't see on the 1st. As of now #1 is the keeper I love the bud structure.

One of the tarte tatins is getting too big, really. This requires me to raise all the other pots to try to keep the same height. That's the game...👌 I tell myself that I should have cut the apex of it, but I think it's too late now , what do you think? 🤔 ( currently on the 17th day of flowering) This week I'm adding my carbon filter to my extractor, to remove the smell of plants outside the tent I try to raise the plants to the same height with upside down plastic pots. I'm also trying to place a fan under the canopy this week but I'm going to remove it quickly, it takes up too much space Busy week in defoliation✂️ ------------------------------------------------------------ 💧Watering I water all my pots the same day but with more or less water. Simply by lifting them; A light pot is a dry pot and will need more water, A heavy pot is a wet pot and will need less water. On average I water each pot with: Day 36 : 0.75 Liters Day 40 : 0.75 L I use tap water, adjust the ph to around 6 and water 💧Spraying I mix a little black soap and neem oil in 1L of water and spray everything in the tent just before my lights go out, keeping any electrical appliances away while I spray. I try to soak all the plants. and I repeat this 2 times this week and the next before the buds appear. In the beggining of week 4 of flower the phenos are showing differences. Nanaz x BBC are way toller that the Headbands. Also, Nanaz x BBC #2 has no pistils but it is a female plant. I have that happened before when I grew the Banana Butter Cups S1

Day 14 of flower and all 4 plants have stretched over a foot in the last week. Should start putting all of their energy into flowering now. Looking really good so far. Really, really good.

Day 23 The third week of flowering is complete. Most of the height growth is finished. Time for a radical defoliation. The girls look great. Unfortunately, Kush has formed hermaphrodites on the flowers in the shade. I hope that I have removed them all. The lamp will be raised to 100% output in two stages.

SoCal Outdoor, 3.9g Autopots, coco, jacks RO Blue Gelato 41 is in week 3 of flower and still stretching. The plants range from 68-78 inches tall with thick 2” trunks. Two months old, unbelievable….. 3.9 gallon pots. Defoliated the plants twice this week to promote lollipoping and airflow. Little signs of nute stress as I added some koolbloom to punch the PK up. No pests, but the caterpillars 🐛 are definitely gonna show in a few weeks for sure. The Autopots are holding up pretty well. But I think the 3.9g pots will stunt the gelatos growth possibilities. My runtz is in a 15g fabric pot stuffed into an Autopot XXL and although it was about 6”tall 4 weeks ago - it is almost as big as the gelatos and growing faster every day. I have to move these to my secret spot and get them out of sight before they start stinking. Next, I’m gonna have to net them to keep the caterpillars out.
