Over the past couple weeks these girls been feasting up an building nice thick structures,building themselves up to get ready for pre flower pretty soon !! Everything is going just how we want it, everything is working properly, our air temp an humidity is stayin on point around 70-75 degrees trough the day and a humidity of 55 - 62% ! Always great! Middle 2 plants stretched a lot week 3 of flower. They were growing slower in veg so I flipped to flower as soon as their canopy reached the net (barely LST these 2 plants with the net given their slower growth). Then week 2-3 of flower they took off. Did some defoliating to expose bud sites further down with the intent to increase yeilds.

D71/F24 - 11.29 - just a very beautiful happy purply lady <3 Recovered from defoliation well. D76/F29 - 12.4 - Chuggin along in her glorious purpliness. Unfortunately she gotta battle a littler for light given the size of her TCC sativa heavier neighbors. Maybe move her to the 3x3 soon so she gets all she needs. Such a delightful splash of color in blanket of yellows and greens <3

Nice and steady growth. Once I watered I can leave the ladies alone for a few days without having to be affraid of any problems. I'm still picking leaves when they are blocking any buds, but thats all I'm doing.

We are currently working on the recovery from the initial stem split on plant A. She's almost all the way recovered with only a slight crack still remaining. Hopefully that split and the overwatering won't disrupt or stunt the growth of this lady too much. For the sake of experimenting I pulled off the first set of fan leaves that were stunted and discolored in hopes the energy used by the plant will be directed more towards the new growth. Plant C is looking great and loving the increased Par values from our light as we are getting good vertical growth and the main stem is looking super healthy. As we get through to the end of the week we will start transitioning plant A for LST in the form of tie down. The fan is currently applying pretty good stress to the already week stalk of plant A, but she again is almost 100% closed back up. The whole purpose of the fan is to strengthen the stalk with very light stress. Plant C will see LST beginning in 2 weeks as she is 1 week behind Plant A. Many people ask me about the LL on the guage and I will remind everyone, I live in a high climate desert around the 49th parallel so it's cold and dry. When the tent is closed I usually see rh values near 40% where the normal RH (Relative Humidity) is around 10%. It's just dry here. That said the grow community here and the quality of bud is top shelf as it gets. Rh doesn't necessarily impact the end results. End goal is still 360g harvest out of this tent we will see if we get it.

They are bulking up a bit more. Still nice and bushy both, still think both will be female. Finally, colours are getting greener and they are filling out nicely. Last couple of weeks before harvest, when my tent is filled to the edges on all sides and the plants can only go up is the moment I will hit the switch to 12/ 12. This is the last few days. I added flawless finish yesterday and will harvest in 2 days. Gotta run outta town so taking it down one week earlier than I wanted. This gives me the week to make sure they dry process is going well and hopefully start the cure the night before I leave 🤞🏾

Made my first mistake by just shoving the seed into an unsoaked rapid rooter without actually germinating first. Took a whole week to get to this point!

During week 9 the flowering continued nicely and all plants developed nice flower crowns. Unfortunately I spotted some brown pistils on some plants and at this stage that only can mean they have been inseminated by pollen. Since I have no male plants around I thoroughly inspect the nodes of all plants from bottom to top. I am searching for hidden male pollen-sacks that have grown on my female plants and sure enough I find several ripe and open pollen sacks on three plants. This means those plants ARE HERMAPHRODITES, plants that have BOTH SEXES, they are female plants that also grow male pollensacks...my ABSOLUTE HORROR! The open pollen sacks have released pollen onto the female pistils around them and this turned the pistils brown. Where those fertilized pistils are, seeds will now start to grow inside the buds of my grow. 😢 After spraying water over the plants, in order to neutralize the free pollen inside, I carefully cut off the hermie-plants on the main stem right above the soil and immediately discard them far away from my grow-tent into the trash. Since I spotted the hermies early, I hope my grow will not be fully seeded, but only have a few seeds grow in some buds here and there. My fingers are crossed! My 'CHEESE'-plant from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS has turned a little yellow and developed some dark spots on the leaves, which I attribute to the plant standing alone in a tray now. She seems to be overfed a little and getting too much water to the roots. I therefore take her out of the water for a few days, in order to let the medium dry out a little and let the roots get some air. The SANlight EVO4-120 LED-lights work like a treat. They are now running at 100% dimm-level and are hung 30 cm above the top of the plants. The BIO NOVA nutrients are still given at half strength of the recommended dose and some plants seem to be overfed...I have to keep an eye on them.

After the 3rd week and noticed about 15 plants weren't growing so I got rid of them. There are still a few that aren't nearly as big as the majority so I'll give them another week or 2 and if no improvement I'll get rid of them and only the strongest will survive!
